61 Chapter 58 Robin VS Ais
I watched with interest as Welf started making weapons, it was a healthy experience and as I had expected, one that gave me plenty of points, so much so that now my blacksmithing skill has reached another level altogether.
It's the same name, but now it's an evolved skill,I don't wanna waste any points just yet or else I could have turned it into an awakened skill.
I can now consider myself a blacksmith who can make sword worth a million, not multiple millions, but one to three million worth of weapons is within my range.
"I know you are trying to learn and stuff, but it feels weird with you breathing down my neck as I make weapons," Said Welf as he put the newly molded metal to cool down,
"As I said, don't mind me" I replied.
Welf gave me a look, like he wanted to say something,I guess he still thinks I am after those magic swords of his, but I am not.
....i am, but he doesn't need to know that.
"So are you going to fight that girl Ais today" Welf asked me as he cleaned his face with a clothe.
"Yeah,I wonder how powerful she is supposed to be" I couldn't help but show a spark of curiosity.
Even though the fight wouldn't be much, but my system based every action of mine that's remotely similar to training as a training session and rewards me accordingly.
"Yeah, although I have seen you fight in the dungeon, it isn't that same as fighting humans, who can change their tactics," he said as he continued hammering the metal.
I nodded at his words, it wasn't like he was wrong, but he wasn't right either, unlike how most people think, monsters also change their ways, they also adapt, no matter how many people think that these monsters are mindless or whatnot.
"I will keep that in mind,I have had my fair share of human fights as well, so you don't have to worry about me making a fool of myself." I assured him.
He smiled at me, it seems this guy really likes to act like a big bro, though I guess he is the oldest among us all, excluding Hestia who was supposed to be a god.
"Robin!, we are going to be late for the fight" As I was thinking about Hestia, she barged into the forging room with a momentum that sent Welf into a stunned state, fortunately he control himself and not ruin the weapon he was making.
"Hestia, it's not like there is any prize, you don't have to sound so excited " I told her.
"naaah! I have to make sure that you win, I will have the chance to rub it in that Loki's face." Hestia started swinging off my body as she started badmouthing her fellow goddess.
I guess she has gotten past the fear of me losing, after I had all our familia members fight me, more like attack me with all they had yesterday and none of them managed to scratch me, except for Bell, he did give me a small bruise but no one has to know that.
Welf finished with his work also stood up, I went ahead and got a bath before I dressed myself in my adventurer cloths.
I just hope that there aren't too many people coming to see me, or Ais for that matter, although I want to fight her, it doesn't mean I want everyone to know about me, the more people that know about me, the more problems that I face.
I sighed as I put on my lightweight armor that Welf made for me yesterday,I have to say,it's definitely better then anything I have worn, it doesn't hinder my movement even a bit.
I also went ahead and checked my inventory for all my weapons,I will first match her with a test of my weapon skills.
I remember she has some ability that allows her to gain the blessing of the winds or something like that.
it wouldn't be wrong to say that I was gonna have fun.
I also gave Hestia some money and asked her to bet half on me and half on Ais as well, in case we end up losing.
it's not like I am not confident about winning,it's best not to be too smug, only to be smacked on the face later on.
All of us left the Mansion and made our way to the streets
'I should buy a carriage driver or something like that for when Hestia needs to go out, maybe open a shop for her so that she doesn't feel bored.
