46 Chapter 44 Return to fight
After what felt like hours my body started returning to normal, I was already back to normal when I drank the potion, but I guess I was rattled enough to know I was low on reserves and needed a rest and rest I did.

Needless to say, the monsters that nearly managed to ambush me were gone by the time I got back, though that didn't stop me from going after every single Bloody Hive and Deadly Hornet monster in the area like I had a bone to pick with them.
The adventurers would give me a side glance from time to time, gossiping about who I was and that I was foolish to travel alone in a dungeon, especially on such a level.
I decided to be a little extra hard working for the day and managed to bring the abnormal resistance to peak Evolved skill level.
Just a little push and the skill will become an awakened skill.
The reason for that was mine over expenditure on potions and voluntary ingestion of poisons.
My Weapons Grandmaster was also able to level up by what I could understand was the end of the day.
It's been four days since I have been inside the dungeon I guess.

I was getting stronger every single day, although the process was slow, I was sure that I could take on many things that I would have run away from before.
And that is the reason why I am currently running around looking for treasures on the twenty-fourth floor of this dungeon.
Namely the green dragons, I have heard from the gossip that on the 24th floor, dragons guard a treasure. and these dragons are green in colour.
The dragon probably has some kind of treasure on it, the ones at the bar did talk about the dragon guarding treasure, though what kind of treasures?
I ended up killing hundreds of lizard men, later on as I tried to find the said dragon.
As I was about to quit, my senses picked up a signature. one that slightly resembled that of the infant dragon and wyvern I killed on the upper floors.
I pushed against the ground and jumped into the air to levitate to my target,
'Hopefully, it's a green dragon, and I can kill it, I really wanna fight a single strong enemy rather than them crowds.'
I finally reached my location, the reason I was slower then usual is because of the fact that I was Levitating and using haze to mask my presence.
I don't want the monster to see me, if it's too strong then I will go in with a surprise attack, after carefully reading the dragon for a while.
I was able to discover a few things about it.
First, it's biggest weakness was its underbelly and eyes.
It's head and other body parts were covered with extremely tough scales and will probably take half my aura bar to damage them In a single strike.
The second is that I found a giant stash of extremely valuable magic cores near it's hideout. Just looking at them caused me to blind myself.
Well not really, but they are breathtaking.
As well as the core of the dragon itself, I readied my sword and started free falling towards the sleeping dragon, though to my surprise, it was able to sense my attack and dodge.
*Booooom* Huge sounds erupted as the land got torn apart.
'Looks like we are gonna do this the hard way.' I looked at the giant 6 meter tall bastard as it flew in the air and spewed one of the hottest flames I have ever felt.
'Diamond Body path.'
Thankfully I was able to dodge and the excess heat was taken care of by my technique.
After dodging I few strikes from the dragon in the sky, I charged up my own Mana bullets as they flew towards the dragon who started manoeuvring in the air to dodge them.
'Too bad for you, they are controlled by me.' I thought as the bullets changed direction midway and flew after the dragon.
The dragon in question issued a roar as it was finally hit by one of the projectiles. It started flying back to me, I took out a A great sword and charged another Aura attack that boosted my swords sharpness to the max limit without breaking it.
*Roaaaaaaar*
It swiped its close at me as I used my agility to narrowly dodge it, in turn I saw the opportunity and slashed at the dragons belly.
It issued a roar of pain and a anguish, though at this moment, as if possessed by a demon, the dragon's eyes suddenly gave a red light as it , in a moment of insanity spewed the red hit flames at me who was right under it, without caring for it's own safety.
I got hit by the flames and suffered some burns, the burns were worse then I thought,I could almost feel myself passing out from the pain, but I held on, this wasn't the first time I got injured and definitely not the last time either.
'Since you are giving it your all, I might as well do so the same.'
I thought before I charged about half my aura and tried mixing in my Will or Haki into the attack as well.
As I did, several cracks grew around the sword , it was about to break, I pointed the sword at the Green dragons body and slashed with all my might as the mixed energies traveled right through the dragon punching a hole through it lower half in the process and travelling several hundred meters away before it dissipated.
'Holy hell, the Prodigy was trying to make a skill like this, and to think I was making fun of it that day.'
I didn't waste any time and quickly took all the treasure and the drops from the dragon and flew away while using haze.
It's best that I don't run across a party of adventurer in these floors who are having any ideas about my stuff.
I felt a little tired and worn out so I decided to save my strength once again.

"I don't believe I have never done this, maybe I should upgrade my Prodigy skill, since it is not able to upgrade by itself by continuous use unlike Genius."
