I sighed as I loaded all the belongings into my inventory while the other kept a watch on the caravan and it's inhabitants, the knights will be here any minute and we would have lost, but because of me, these guys will get away scot free.

Although I could risk my own freedom and bring these guys to justice, why should I!?, I am not gonna risk the life of my step family for people I don't know, I learned the hard way today that I am not as good of a person as I thought, and I am not play with that.

"How long is it gonna take kid, we are low on time" Yoru asked me, he is the guy that brought me to the armory yesterday to get some weapons, he is also the leader of our raid.

"It's done" I replied, though I didn't take everything, ot was probably true that these guys might need some food and studs while they are here so I left some.

He grabbed me and we started flying through the air.

He opened his grimoire that had two clover leafs and used a spell that will make us invisible to any possible scouting and tracking magic.

I sighed in resignation.we kept flying for the whole night and only stopped for food and relieving the bladder.

We reached the hideout once the sun was up, I really didn't know if it was up, cause those guys put a cloth on my face to keep me in the dark.

Although they think they have a handle on me, not been long since I have a system with me.

I will keep training and be out of here in no time, everyone enjoyed the victory over the kingdom and I was nominated as the MVP.

These bastards are enjoying it, I expected them to put me back in the cell but to my surprise, they let me free and the guy named Yoru who is now my squad leader even introduced me to several things inside the hideout, which is a network of abandoned cave systems

The base was very cosy for my taste, the bastards even had artificial made hot springs, I grunted approval as my previous bruises healed, as well as the ones I received from. our raid.

"Come on, you can spend time in the hot spring all you want, let me show you other places" Yoru led me to another area where I saw nearly ten or so men and women train their magic.

"This is the training room, it's just what we like to call it, you can come here and train, I even had Seni install some weights recently," he told me

I looked at the equipment, this will be beneficial, I will. have to re-evaluate my time here, Yoru led me around the area, what I noticed though was that this guy was too good, the others always acted like bad guys, typical thugs and bandits but this guy was like a bright sun in mud.

"Ah! and this is the sparring room, you can. come here and have a spar, winning can. get you some stuff and I recommend you don't challenge anyone for now, though you can come to me for a spar if you ever want one" he told me.

I noticed a tag team fight brutally with each other, magic spells flying left and right, even hitting those not in the fight.

He then led me to what he calls a food court where everyone sat and ate with relish, if I didn't know any better, I would have thought I was in some kind of refugee shelter

After a two hours tour, he led me to my room, which had no bars and security meaning I could now do whatever I want

"Aren't you guys worried I will run away?!" I asked, a little suspicious of him, he turned around and gave me a mischievous smile which sent shivers down my spine.

"You can try, but make sure you don't get caught..or else, hehe" he left with that.

I immediately left the room and traced my steps back to the place, I was beside the entrance as I looked at the forest outside.

I smelled the fresh air that flowed inside, after a while I left and returned back to the training area, if I didn't have the hunter skill, I would have believed in the fact that I can escape, but my senses were screaming at me that the moment I leave, I die.

I sat on the bench and started training my muscles by doings weights,let's just increase my strength and become strong enough to surpass these fuckers,let's have the last laugh.
