31 chapter 31: The Third Eye vs Captains
Standing side by side, the three members of the third eye faced against Yami and the others.
Yami: *Sigh* You guys stay here.
Yami takes a step forward.
Rowan/ Asta: Captain Yami! Let me help!
Shaking his head Yami Pushed them back.
Yami: You stay put! what are you worried about, me? It's hundred year too early for that. Just sit tight and watch, watch me... surpassing my limits, Right here, Right now.
Licht: It's no use... each of them is stronger than the magic knights Captains!
Rowan: I'm going all out today, Neve, are you redy.
Neve: Yes!
Rowan canceled his armored form as Yami walked forward.
Yami: Is that so? then show me.
Rahya: [Copy Magic: Dark Cloaked Lightless slash]
Fana: [Spirit Magic: Salamander's Breath]

Covering their faces from the dust and debris flying everywhere, Rowan and the rest were surprised when they brought their arm's down and saw Yami was laying on the ground while three people stood in front of him.
???: Stronger then a captain? Why don't we test that!?
Yami: Ah maaan... Something was about to awaken in me in another second or so- Whaddaya think you're doing, You lousy so called friends!?
???: I'm surprised you can even say those words when you look like that. I'm going to execute you someday, prepare yourself and wait foreigner.
Yami: Can you even see me with that hair in your face??
???: This is a pretty interesting fight you've got going here, Yami. Let's us play too!
Asta: C- Captains!
Now that the dust had settled, Asta and others were able to see who they were exactly.
Finral: Captain Charlotte, Captain Jack and Captain Nozel.
Jack: Yami... Where do you get off hogging all the fun opponents to yourself like that? So, how are they? Can they put up a fight?
Jack the Ripper creepily licked his lips as he questioned Yami.
Yami: Not at all, it was like I was fighting a kitten.
Yami nonchalantly stated, despite his beat up appearance.
Jack:HAHAHHA! Like anyone will believe that the way you look now!
he mocked Yami.
Yami: Oh here we go again, the jack ass is mouthing of again.
He calmly stated as he puffed out a cigarette
smoke.
Jack: in fact, I might take advantage of this opportunity and rip you a new one.
Jack the Ripper glared at Yami as he brought up a blade to his neck.
Yami: l'm sorry,I won't do it again.
Yami immediately apologised.
jack: Dumbass, like 'd actually kill you.. if I'm going to fight you, it has to be when you're at your best.
Otherwise, it would be no fun tO rip you to pieces.
Jack the Ripper creepily licked his lips again.
Rowan: 'Can this guy stop licking his lips so
creepily?! He's gonna look like a pedophile looking for his prey.'
Finral: Captain of the light green praying mantis, Jack the Ripper. A sadist that loves destruction and boasts of his ability to cut anything! He just through a mountain during his little bickering with Yami, or was I seeing things...?
Finral trembled as he unconsciously laid out all the info he knew about Jack the Ripper
Asta: you didn't have to make him even

Charlotte Roselei, Captain of the Blue Rose, sighed at Yami's inelegant appearance.
Yami: Don't be foolish. The ground loves me, so it's soothing my ass. Yami savagely retorted.
Charlotte: You men are so useless
Rowan: Hello Captain Charlotte..., Sorry again that I knocked you out that day.
Charlotte: *Blushes* W-Well.y-you see
Yami: Hah!?
Jack: He knocked her out...
Nozel: That commner is surely lying.
He didn't pay any mind at Rowan's words and turned to look at the Eyes of the Midnight Sun.
Nozel: The top brass of the traitors who attacked our country, appeared now. what a perect opportunity to bury them with my own hands.You can hurry up and vanish foreigner.
Nozel speaks annoyedly.
Yami: Wow.Thanks for being considerate, Mister Ball o' Pride. But I still wonder how you gets your hair like that.
Asta: Huh?He's a royal, so his servants probably do it, right?"
Rowan: He has a point..a stuck up royal with a massive ego probably gets his hair done up by his servants.
Yami: No way. He has people do it for him?That's kinda lame.
Asra: Wait, you mean he braids his hair himself?
Yami: Huh? Yea.That's creepy too.
Yami concludes. Nozel stared towards Yami Rowan and Asta as a vein pops on his forehead.
Nozel: Should I bury you first?
He asks with a murderous intent.
Finral: The Royal Captain of the decorated Silver Eagles, Nozel Silva...You can tell he's the real thing by that mana And he's handsome too...curses...
Gauche: Who are those guys?
He cuts in from behind Rowan.
Rowan: If you were listening to Finral, wait-lF YOU'RE A MAGIC KNIGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS!
Gauche: If they're not Marie. l don't care.
Rowan: Why did I bother to answer your questioactually...why did you even bother to ask...
Asta: RAAAAAAAAHHH!I'M ALL FIRED UP NOW!!l'M STILL IN THIS FIGHT!!
He yells holding both of his swords with a moronic face on.
Nozel: Stay out oft it pond scum. when the captains are on the battlefield. Medicore abilities will only slow us down, specially a peasant with no magic like you.
Nozel snaps.Asta enthusiasm dies down.
Rowan: You can't just look down on us like that. I'm tighting no matter what comes my way.
Rhya charges forwards with his copied Yami's sword.
Rhay: All right!l enough talking, cal the pretty lady! If i win, you' re gonna go drinking with me!
He shouts as charlotte flares up roses.
Charlotte: If that's the case, you'll be drinking alone tonight.
Charlotte glared at him and got her thorn magic ready.
At the same time this was happening, a huge crack was formed on the ground. Vet skilfully dodged the Attack that Jack the Ripper sent.
Jack: [Slash Magic: Death size]. You're fighting me, big guy!
Jack the Ripper laughed hysterically as he launched himself towards Vetto.
Vetto: Oh? You're from the praying mantis group... A mere bug wants to fight me?
Vetto glanced at Jack's uniform and taunted him.
Jack: KAH KAH! You'd better not underestimate us bugs!
He responded with an even creepier smile than before.
The fights with the other two captains, Nozel's voice was followed by a big blast.
Rowan's attention drifts as he spot Licht still recovering in flames, Nozel was attacking Fana, as Jack was going at it with Vetto.
Nozel: [Mercury Magic: Mercury Spear]
Nozel shot a Mercury spear straight at Licht, who was still covered with Fana's recovery flames. The Mercury spear that was approaching Licht soon got boiled and evaporated into thin air by Fana's hot flames.
Fana: You're trying to hurt him too? I hate you... DIE!!
she glared daggers at Nozel.
Jack: Kah Kah! Your Mercury was melted by her flames! You want to switch opponents?
Nozel: Get out of the way like my mercury would be defeated by that level of fire... Who the hel... Do you think l've been fighting against all this time?
Rowan: At this Comment, I can make an educated Guess that Nozel is referring to Captain Fuegoleon.
Nozel then sent more Mercury magic attacks at Licht while Fana was busy protecting and counter attacking, resulting in an extremely huge blast due to the clash between two strong magic power.
Finral: What the hell is this? It's like we're watching Armageddon!
Gauche: can't see.
He squinted his eyes. The smoke and dust caused by the blast created screens of small particles that irritated the eyes.
Yami: Finral, you should be able to use your warp magic once by now, right?
Finral: Yeah, Let's get out of here! We should just let the other captains handle this, and..
Finral buoyantly suggested until he stopped mid sentence the moment he saw Yami's creepy smile.

Rowan: Now's the chance, Let's go Neve I choose you...
As Rowan said this, his mana suddenly flared up, everyone was shocked as they watched The pages of Rowan's grimoire began to turn until he stopped on a new page.
Rowan: [ Spirit Magic: Astral spire ]
Licht was planning to retrieve the five leaf clover grimoire from Asta when He noticed Rowan's large amount of mana that formed a spear in Rowan's hand.
Rowan: Let's end this.
As Rowan said that, he threw his spare at Licht.
*BOOM*

With three blast in air the spear approached Licht with unbelievable speed.
Licht: [ Light Magick: Sword of Judgement ]
Licht was caught of gauard but he tried to defend himself with a large sword attack but the spear completely destroyed the sword and hitted Licht's right hand directly.
*BOOM*
Licht looked at his hand he was surprised to see that he can't move his hand at all as his hand was completely frozen like a stone.
Licht: Empresive, very empresive... but sadly that's not enough to get me down. I can sense your mana...
Licht stoped in mid as he sense someone coming at him from above. Making him look up to see Yami with his sword held up. He figured he would try that, so he was prepared for his attack.
Licht: I see, a snekattack at me when I'm distracted, but it doesn't matter any more... Farewell!
Licht had a ball of light on his left palm, aiming for Yami. What he didn't expect was that Asta would
attack from the side, taking him, the three Captains and their opponents by surprise.
"Licht" Rhya, Fana and Vetto shouted out worriedly for their leader.
Nobody noticed him moving through the dust, unable to sense him because he had no magic. Asta swunghis Sword, successtully hitting Licht and Yami followed next, striking him and sending him down to the ground.
Nozel: That Commner's magic power, It got through the fire... and that anti-magic Commner...
Jack: I want to slice him... kekekek, and that shrimp he really got him... he took the price right under our noses.
Charlotte: 'That was so cool.' We captains should be the ones at the front! We need to finish this guy off.
Licht's body started to glow as he slowly rose from the ground, alarming his comrades.
Vetto: Because of that brat's anti-magic attack, the sealing magic on Licht has been broken!
Licht: That power's being held back for the day that's to come.
He looked at Asta.
Licht: why... Why do you have that grimoire? Why do you..have the Demon-Slayer Sword and the Demon-Dweller Sword ?!Those swords belong to the master.
Asta had no clue to what he was talking about, asking him questions and holding his grimoire.
Asta: This crappy grimoire and these crappy swords belong to me! Stop making false accusations, you crazy bastard!
Licht: No give them back....that grimoire is..
Licht starts to chant as different language as the light becomes bigger and brighter swallowing up the rocks aroundit.Jack sends a slash towards him, only to be swallowed up.
Jack: Haw haw!lt swallowed up my severing magic!
Jack yells, licking his lips.
Charlotte: That's a big concentration of magic power..if he releases that it'll blow away the entire area!
Finral: What is that magic?His magic was restricted before?
Finral gasps in shock as Rowan flip furiously through his grimoire.
Finral: WHAAAA I KNEW IT!I SHOULDN'T HAVE COME!!AND ACTUALLY!I WISHED I NEVER JOINED THIS BRIGADE!!
Yami: Hey.Quit shooting your mouth off. This is our chance, if we defeat him and this power,
we'll leave out limits in the dust!
Yami shouts as Asta and Rowan follows with an 'Awright'
Rhya: Cutie. Forgive me, but plans have changed, we'll continue this later.
Rhya winked at Charlotte before the trio (third eye) scurried over to Licht.
Vetto: if this continues, you won't have a body left, Licht!
The three of them were chanting and a string of
foreign poneglyphs began wrapping itself around
Licht.
Third eye: 3-in-1 Sealing Magic!
Not before Long, the poneglyphs began crystallising and entrapping Licht in all of it, at the same time stopped him from using his power.
Rhya: You really pushed yourself out there, so take a good rest Let's get out of here, Val.
He touched Valutos' grimoire and copied his portal magic. Soon arter, a Dig black hole began to swallow the whole group up.
Rhya: Our general's health has taken a turn for the worse, so we'll be taking our leave for today.
He turned back and smirked at the magic Knights.
Vatto: we lost this round. But next time we meet, l make you guys taste true despair...
Fana: And that will be... the last days of your lives.
The third eye: We of the white eyes are... always watching you...
The trio said in union before the black portal magic completely enveloped they and transported them somewhere else.
Asta: Did... we win?
Yami: Since they ran with their tail between their legs, doesn't that mean that we won?" Yami lit up another cigarette and puffed out a bunch of smoke.
Rowan/ Asta: Hell freaking yeah!
Neve: Rowan, I need to go back to the grimoire to restore our magic.
Rowan: Yeah me too...
As Rowan said that he felt like a vibration in his head and with a thud sound he dropped at ground and fainted.
Asta: Ro-
He tried to say something but fainted in middle as well.
Yami: Jeez is their virus or something?
Charlotte: Just this once, I'll help Rowan because he helped me once, you guys help the other one.
She picked him in princess position and goes to leave the cave as Yami picks up Asta.
Charlotte: 'God it's so awkward.'
She looked at Rowan's face as her face flushed up.
Charlotte: 'I'll tell him my felling when he turns 18.'
