106 “Wake up….Julian”
Julian POV :
Uhh! My head hurts…..
It's been more than a week since I entered this dungeon and had very little rest.
My body is sore from fighting all those dragons….
I lost count of the number of times I came near death while fighting the different types of Dragons in this dungeon...
After defeating the lava and wind dragons, I had to fight sand Dragons in a desert, water dragons in the ocean, and lastly the lighting dragon in a thunderstorm terrain which was the most difficult fight of all the fights I had.
It took me almost three days to defeat enough lightning dragons for the tattoo to appear.
I got my limbs broken, chunks of muscles blasted away, and almost got decapitated but I survived…
Unfortunately, even after going through this much pain, I can't seem to get used to it.

I could somewhat make out the voice and sense a presence near me.
This KI is different….different from anything else I had seen.
Natch…I think I have heard this name somewhere.
I tried to open my eyes but nothing…I seem to have lost control over my body….

My vision became clear as the figure of Lucis appeared in front of my eyes.
Somehow he looked like an adult and had become more handsome. Most importantly I could see a golden crown on top of his head.
Olivia was there with him too, in an attire similar to the ones queens wore in fairy tales.
I looked down and was surprised to see my hands have become bigger.
What is happening?
"What are you spacing out for, you have a lot to do remember. I hope you memorized the speech that we wrote the last meeting ?" Lucis said to me.
"Let's go! everyone is waiting for us "
Bright light fell on my face as cheers from millions of people reached my ears as I walked to the stage.
I had never seen so many people in one place.
'Julian !!!!!'
'Marry me my hero Julian !!!!!'
'Kya ! He looked at me !! my life is fulfilled…'
'You are the best sir Julian!!'
All sorts of cheers reached my ears and they were supposed to be for me?
What is going on?
Every one of them had their eyes filled with excitement and admiration.
I could see the members of the Black Bulls near the stage.
It feels like all of them have aged a few years...
Finral was standing with his fiance.
Luck and Magna are cheerful as ever.
Charmy is still busy with cakes and Vanessa with a bottle of alcohol.
Gordon is Crying ?! he must be very happy.
Gauge is standing with his sister who is jumping with excitement.
Henry is there too.
Surprisingly Captain Yami was standing holding Captain Charlotte's waist.
That's new…. I thought it would take them ages to get together…
Everyone seems so happy and proud.
But where are Asta and Noelle? And why are we gathered here?
Ah! I remember, today is a day when a new chapter in the Clover kingdom is going to be written.
Today the first prince Lucis Kira Clover is going to ascend to the throne. Lucis is the most loved prince who was born since the first wizard king due to his deeds and equal treatment with every citizen.
Not only that Asta was going to take the spot of the new Wizard King and become the head of the Magic knights.
He was going to be the first wizard king in history to be born without magic.
And the person who was going to help them ascend to the new position is someone with a reputation that surpasses the king and the wizard king…..
The most respected and strongest mage in all four nations...no.....the strongest mage humanity ever had…
The war hero who changed the flow of the history of the world…
A person who will be forever engraved in the history of the world…

Julian Gunhildr who fulfilled his dream.
Just as I was going to start my speech to the crowd, I noticed someone from the corner of my eye.
A person wearing a black cloak with two horns coming out of his head. Somehow that person make me freeze in my place as no words came out of my mouth.
"Wake up Julian….before it's too late.." that person opened his mouth and spoke.
I could hear his voice crystal clear even among the millions of people as if he was speaking in my ear.
Third Person Pov:
In the main control room, things were not as peaceful at all compared to the things Julian was seeing.
The walls around the room could be seen to have developed large craters and large claw marks.
The entire chamber was filled with an oppressive aura as the mana pressure of two figures at the center of the chamber was clashing.
The figures that manifested out of their mana pressure were Dark Phoenix whose eyes were starting to change into reptilian while the feathers were becoming dense.
On the other side was a giant black Crow.
The one of the Black Crow as his mana pressure wore a black cloak that covered his entire body with his face only visible to the other figure.
The most significant part of his appearance was the two horns coming out of his head.
From his feet emerged shadow tendrils that made Kirin, Secre and finally Julian who was standing in front of him completely stop their movements.
Grrr!!
Slap!
"Wake up Julian " the other figure gave a hard slap to Julian but it didn't have the intended effect.
Julian growled as more black tendrils stuck into his body.
There were many things wrong with him right now.
First was the presence of large claws and thick black scales covering his arms like that of a Dragon.
The second was the left eye which became a reptilian eye instead of the Sharingan while the right was in the process of becoming the same.
Lastly, his Grimoire, a fifth leaf had started to form releasing large amounts of ominous mana.
"Sir Nacht, we can't delay any longer or we might lose him," said a small figure who manifested on the man's shoulder.
"Seems like there is no other option Gimodelo, I have to use forbidden magic"
[Devil Union: Canis]
As soon as he chanted that, a transformation started to occur to him.
Claws started to form on his arms while a black cape made out of shadow magic appeared on his body which even covered his face.
The total amount of mana within him received a significant boost.
The transformation changed his entire aura to that of an ominous one.
The future extended his arm and held Julian's face and started to chant a spell.
[Forbidden magic: reverse possession]
As soon as the spell took effect a large amount of red flames burst out of Julian as he started screaming in a high-pitched tone.
A wall of shadow appeared in front of the figure and around Kirin and Secre.
"Spell was successful, he should be back to his senses now"
The changes that happened in Julian started to revert back as he dropped to the floor panting.
His eyes turned back to Sharingan with its features becoming more defined.
The Black scales started to revert back into his arms and finally took the form of a small dragon's mouth tattoo on the back of his palms.
Finally, the fifth leaf that had started to take its form disappeared, followed by a lot of spells getting engraved in his Grimoire.

One by one several notifications started floating in front of Julian as he started to come back to his senses.
"Seems like you had a terrible dream Julian, " the other figure said.
Julian looked at the face of the man standing in front of him with surprise.
"Vice captain Nacht?! "
