Then when Yuna saw Asta coming, she quickly picked up the magic stone that had fallen from her due to the thug's struggle to take it away from her; she said to Asta as she saw that Asta was the one who helped her, "Asta, you're actually here. Asta then sighed at what Yuna said, and then Asta replied, saying, "You know Yuna, I know that you were already plenty strong to chase off that thug by yourself. I know that your A bit timid and all but you need to toughen up. After all, you're the second most plausible to become a magic knight in the village, being me the first after all."

When the people of the village wondered by Asta was training his body as they heard that people with high amounts of magic rarely train their own bodies and mostly train their magic control and magic strength, which most of the Villagers thought that Asta would first train his magic control since Asta has to learn how to control the magic properly, he copies with quick changes based on the magic he was currently copying.

But unlike everyone was expecting, Asta was actually very talented in magic, even more than Yuna was. Ordinary people who had magic require at least to spend one month's worth of training to master a type of magic or magic spell using their main magic affinity. Asta also saw that his copy magic has its advantage and disadvantages. His Copy magic allows Asta to use any time of magic and copy the magic to a perfect degree; however, Asta seems to need to spend a large amount of time with the person's trying to copy actually to be able to copy the target's magic.

Asta had also seen that it seems that once he learns a new type of magic, it becomes a tiny bit harder to control the other magic he had already copied. But there were many advantages to his magic still. Even with these drawbacks, Asta can copy unlimited magic types with him; he can combine compatible magics he already has. The best of them all was that Asta didn't need mostly the help of a grimoire to produce magic spells since it seems that if Asta works hard enough, he can create himself new spells that weren't even in the grimoire of the person his copying.

People with grimoire are generally favored magic spells from grimoire's rather than self-made spells because creating your own spell was significantly much harder than just obtaining the spell from a grimoire. It can take months or even years to make a single strong magic spell successfully, and a person needs a ton of determination in also making the spell.

So that's why most magic knights or just people with grimoire's most. Generally, don't waste their time making original magic spells. But unlike everyone, Asta was extremely willfully ever since he was young in the last timeline.

Asta had managed to compete with people with magic while he couldn't use his own using his physical strength alone. When Asta had fought Liebe back from his last timeline even with just a single arm just using his swordsmanship and physical strength along with ki, he managed to fight off Liebe a devil, although, at that time, Liebe still didn't really go all out.

Asta had mostly used his copied strengthening magic as Asta found Strengthening magic to his fighting style of using his own body to attack using the sword. If he used the strengthening magic on both his body and sword, he could deal with a lot more damage.

Seeing Asta training hard in both magic and body, Yuna also started training her own body; however, Yuna didn't train in her body as much as Asta did. She only trained them to a level where she can qualify to become a martial artist in physical strength alone and flexibility.
