'I doubt that it will be that difficult, and even if it was don't I have a better dragon than her?'

"...Now that is something that you don't even need to ask. My other half together we are the force that can hardly be stopped," said Vritra with an excited tone.

Sekke smirked as he ignored his two squad mates who tried to talk him out of fighting Fana.

He looked back at them and said, "Stand back if you don't want to get caught up in the crossfire. Protect yourselves. I will try my best but I am not taking any guarantee."

He then turned towards Fana and said, "As for you Fana, It's one-on-one so make sure to not hit my friends."

"Don't call my name you filthy human! And why should I not attack them when you three just now ganged up on me?"

"Hey don't need to be that harsh. I just used your name. As for earlier, we three fought against your mages. Now it's just the two of us facing each other. Not to mention if you focus on every one of us, it will get difficult for you to fight. Instead, you and I fight each other, no one else will interfere from my side. As for your side, I don't think that any of them will be getting up to fight anytime soon."

Fana remained silent for a while but soon glared at them or more specifically at Noelle.

"Like you, lowly humans stand by your words, especially those royals."

"Fana I swear upon the name of the dark lord that they won't use a single spell or action to attack you or protect me. They will just defend themselves if necessary. I don't know about other situations but during fights, the dark lord doesn't go back on his words."

Fana stared at Sekke for a while and then looked at Ainz and Noelle.

"...If they attack even once, I will burn them both to cinders."

"So you can be understanding...well isn't that a surprise. Alright, you two stay back till either of us is down."

Ainz and Noelle looked at Sekke with shock well Noelle did, Ainz couldn't show much expression on his skull after all.

"You are actually doing that?!" asked Noelle.

"Yeah! I mean you heard us right? Now just stay back and watch." replied Sekke as his grimoire started flipping.

"So Fana shall we start?" asked Sekke as he jumped onto the large hand that opened in front of him and ascended into the sky.

Fana looked at Sekke with a slight frown as her grimoire started flipping as well.

A huge stream of flames came out of the spirit's mouth as an animal skull made of bronze appeared in front of Sekke and fired a beam toward the salamander.

The two attacks intercepted each other as both Sekke and Fana moved from their positions to avoid being blinded by the resulting explosion.

'Damn, my gaster blaster is powered up a lot.'

"See I told you it was not a good idea to use that against those diamond kingdom mages if you don't want them dead. But still, that baby spirit dragon packs some power. Mana-based life forms are always a pain to deal with not to mention a dragon." said Vritra.

Sekke didn't respond to the sacred gear as he noticed a huge incoming fireball.

Knowing that only dodging it was not the best option Sekke decided to use his magic as well.

'Shit! HOT HOT HOT!' thought Sekke as he tried to dodge the attack but still got hit by a fireball.

The clothes around his chest and sleeves immediately turned to cinders as a topless chiseled body Dark lord came into view.

Fana who saw Sekke getting hit by the attack waited to see the outcome only to find the human totally fine.

And though she was mostly indifferent, her gaze still lingered on Sekke's bare-chested body for a bit.

"Looks like I need to attack with numbers, big attacks will take quite a long time to show effect."

A huge amount of mana gathered around Sekke as the onlookers were surprised to see the blond boy using so many spells at once since it was common knowledge that most people can only use a single magic at a time.

But ignoring their gazes Sekke pointed his hands which were now turned into mini guns at the fire spirit as the few hundred swords that he made started revolving around them gaining speed while giving off a chilling blue aura.

"Salamander, finish him," muttered Fana as the fire spirit roared.

"Now now, what's the hurry? It's just starting," said Sekke with a smirk.

Fana glared at him seeing his smirk as her grimoire started flipping.

Salamander's mouth opened as a huge amount of mana gathered around him.

But before she could even call out the name of her spell two bright beams of light descended from the sky and hit the dragon's wings tearing them and making the dragon roar in pain.

"See I told you it's just starting," said Sekke with a smirk as the fire spirit stopped gathering the mana while Fana looked up in the sky only to find two gaster blasters up there.

"Damn, you!!! I will kill you!!! How dare you harm Salamander!!!"

"Like this," replied Sekke as he started firing bullets from his miniguns which were covered in frost debuff magic.

The swords that were revolving around them started raining down on Fana and the salamander as the spirit tried to protect its master. It was still able to move but because of the earlier attack, its wings were torn and were not completely healed up which made its movements sluggish.

The attacks rained down on the fire spirit which tried its best to protect Fana.

But because of that, all the attacks hit the spirit making the spirit roar in pain as its body started tearing up.

The spirit and Fana started falling making the pink-haired elf look at Sekke with hatred. She wanted to fight back but the attacks were not stopping at all.

Sekke kept on firing at the fire spirit but out of nowhere, the ki around him changed making the dark lord stop his attacks and look towards the cause of it.

Turning around Sekke noticed, Asta, Zell, and Mars coming toward them while being followed by a pale-looking guy who was firing a lot of mana beams at the group.

"You three can't even keep one guy in check," muttered Sekke as he moved towards Fana.

"Fana, some other party is rushing here for a while so we have a true till the situation is settled."

Fana looked at Sekke with a slightly surprised expression on her face, even though she knew that some people were headed their way, it made no sense for the human named Sekke to propose a truce for a battle that he was winning.

'...Does he really intend to keep his word about not having others interfere in our fight?' thought Fana as she looked at the blond man in front of her.

Sekke smiled at Fana as he stood in front of her and asked, "We can't have others interfere in this fight, right? So what do you say? Truce?"

Fana stared at Sekke's face for a while and then looked toward her damaged Salamander.

'....Should I believe in his words? But humans are never trustworthy.' thought Fana.

Hearing the noise Fana looked at Salamander who was looking back at her. The two stared at each other for a while, before Fana sighed and stood up.

"...Make any suspicious movement and Salamander and I will burn you to a crisp."

Hearing her reply Sekke smirked as he looked towards Asta and company.

"You don't need to worry about that. As I said earlier, the dark lord never goes back on his promises during a fight."

"Now *breathe in* ASTA YOU SHIT!!! CAN'T YOU HANDLE JUST ONE MAN AND NOT INTERFERE WITH MY FIGHT?!?!" screamed Sekke shocking Noelle, Ainz, and even Fana who all looked at Sekke with surprised expressions on their faces.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY, YOU BASTARD!?!? I CAN DEAL WITH HIM!! I JUST NEED ONE HIT ON HIM!!!" yelled Asta back in response.

"THEN FU*KING DO IT!!"

"I AM TRYING!!"

"TRY HARDER!!"

"ALRIGHT!! JUST WAIT AND SEE!!" yelled Asta as he ignored the plan that Zell, Mars, and he talked about and jumped toward the pale guy with his anti-magic swords.

"No!! Asta!!" yelled Zell trying to warn him, but it was too late as the pale guy who was called Ladros attacked.

Mana gather around Ladros as various concentrated beams of Mana burst out of his body and headed in different directions.

Asta who was now in mid-air was unable to dodge them and just used his broad anti-magic sword to block the attack but still got blown away by it.

Sekke looked at the scene and then turned toward Ainz and Noelle and said, "Track him and check if he is fine or not."

Ainz and Noelle nodded as the two ran back into the forest while Sekke made a bronze barrier around him and Fana to block the incoming attack.

"Sekke-kun, Ladros can absorb mana and magic attacks, we need to try and overload his limit," said Fanzell.

"No need to say that twice. Want to join in on the attack Fana?" said Sekke with a high smile on his face as his grimoire started flipping.

"Don't call out my name so casually human," replied Fana as her grimoire started flipping as well.

Mana gathered around Sekke and Salamander's mouth as both he and Fana fired their attacks at the diamond mage.

The two attacks used toward the diamond mages as Fanzell and Mars immediately got out of the way of the huge attacks.

'I just told him to overload him not turn him to dust!!!' thought Fanzell as he just got shocked at the intensity of the incoming attack.

"W-wait! That's too big," said Ladros with a slightly panicked look on his face.

"THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!" yelled Sekke as if responding to Ladros

The two attacks crashed into the pale man as he got burnt to crip by the fire and was then blown away by the gaster blaster.

"...That worked right? I can't feel his mana anymore," said Sekke.

"...It should have. They were some very strong attacks," replied Fana.

"Hmm....well anyways, so shall we continue where we left off?" asked Sekke as he looked toward Fana.

"...Why are you like this?" asked Fana.

"...Well, I was born handsome, became awesome, and am totally wholesome, so what can I say?" replied Sekke with a smile.

"..."

Fana and Salamander continued to stare at the weird human in front of them without saying anything making Sekke's smile smaller and smaller the longer they started.

"...You don't have to be that cold," said Sekke with a pout.

"Stop joking in front of your enemy and answer my question. Why are you treating your enemy like this? You had an advantage over the fight earlier and just now you could have dealt with that man on your own, so why did you let me recover and had a truce mid-battle?" asked Fana.

Sekke tilted his head in confusion and said. "Why? Didn't I promise that it will be a one-on-one? So it's only natural to keep my word you know."

"What do you mean it's natural? You humans are not trustworthy beings. You deceive people who trust you and harm them." said Fana with anger in her tone.

"Not all of us are like that. Some people like me have morals. Being the dark lord doesn't just mean that you are the strongest. It means that you are indisputably the strongest. You need no cheap tricks to overcome the challenge. You just need your strength and sheer fu*king will to show the world where you stand. So never think of me as someone who will go back on his promise that I did during a fight." replied Sekke with a confident look on his face.

Fana's eyes widened in shock as she heard Sekke's answer. She tried her best to find a lie in Sekke's words but the confident look and tone made it impossible for her to find any lies in his words. She continued to stare at him for a while before she jumped back with Salamander and got ready to fight.

"Human....what is your name?"

Sekke smirked and got ready to fight as well and said, "It's Sekke Bronzaza, the dark lord. Don't forget it."
