Chapter 3 — Magic Study and Planning for the Future

"Let's move onto magic sweetheart" my mom says to me as she grabs a book from the table and opens it.

"Make sure to make some notes as we go along son"

"I will mom"

"Let's start we Magic awakening. Magic Awakenings take place typically between the ages of 8 and 14, this allows enough time from them to gain control of their Magic before getting a grimoire.

But there are exceptions to this as children with a high amount of Mana can awaken their mana at the early ages of 5 or 6 this tends to be only Nobles and Royals but our family also has early awakens as well.

The process of Awakening your Magic is a natural event in a persons life, Meaning that your Magic will awaken when it's good and ready. There is not a way to speed up the process other then potentially exercising to allow your body to be ready for your Mana" Mom said to me.

"Did you get all that?" She asks

"Of course I did" I tell her.

"Now let's move onto the types of Mana. There is both Nature Mana and Personal Mana, there is also Cursed Mana which allows you to curse another person but that's a lesson for another time" she says to me as I continue making notes for future study.

"Now then Personal Mana is the Mana the resides in the cells of a human or creature, Because of this if you have access to your own Mana you can perform feats of Magic"

'It kinda sounds like how Superman stores The Suns Solar Radiation in his cells' I think to myself

"Nature Mana tends to be stronger and more dangerous then Personal Mana as shown by the Grand Mana Zones.

Theses Mana Zones are also a great way to train in magic if your able to with stand the pressure that is. There are many of such Mana Zones all around the Kingdom, inside the Grand Mana Zones is always some sort of nature Disaster like a Volcano or a Hurricane. But rarely these Mana Zones can also contain a Spirit" she continues.

"A Sprit?" I ask what to know more about then as from the Anime they kind of remind me of the summoning beast from Naruto.

"Hmm, Spirits are the closest that the people of the Kingdom have come to using Natural Mana in the Air and Plant-life. But unfortunately we have had no success in using natural Mana"

"There are two types of Spirits, A greater Spirit and A lesser Spirit. There is normally only one Greater spirit per Element and then many lesser spirits that kind of serve under the one greater spirit" she says

"I believe this is a good stopping point for today's lessons as we went of on bit of a tangent there. Tidy up your equipment and come join me for a snack" she says before giving me a gentle kiss on the forehead.

"Okay Mom I'll right with you" I say with a smile.

~~TimeSkip Two years Later (6 years old)~~

Sitting in my bed room, I silently finish my small morning work out of push ups, sits ups and squats. I would like to do more but Dad said I can't until I'm older, he said wait until I awaken my magic as Mana makes the body naturally more resistant. Which is why in the anime you see people take a fire punch to the face and walk it off.

Heading into my bathroom I wash and tidy myself up before I get dressed and head to the dining room to have some breakfast.

When I make it to the dining room I see my Dad sitting at the table with a cup of tea reading the news paper.

"Anything interesting happen?" I ask curious to what's going on in the Kingdom.

"Not really other then an up and coming Mage with a rather powerful Magic affinity" My dad says to me still reading the news paper.

"Oh who are they and what's their affinity?" I ask while taking a seat with my breakfast.

"It says his name is Julius Novachrono and he possesses Time Magic"

'Oh shit Dad just method The Julius Novachrono future Wizard King and All round amazing dude and he isn't the Captian of the Aqua deers yet.

Okay so I'm 6 currently and I should be around Yami's age meaning that in around 6 or 7 years Julius should be Captain. I know this because he meets both Yami and William Vangeance before they get their grimoires.

The by the Time Yami and William are in there early 20s Julius is already Wizard King. So this gives me about 20 years give or take to prepare for the Elves, The Demons and the Spade kingdom.'

Unfortunately there's not much I can do right now as I don't even access to my Magic yet, but I believe that my magic should be based around either Runes, Wind or Lightning.

Taking that into account I should start to plan my work outs around these three different magics as each one has one thing in common, that will all require me to have incredible speed to use them effectively.

I should also gather more knowledge and information, thankfully my family has been around for half a millennium meaning they should have plenty of knowledge for me to consume.

I should also look for ways to visit the Heart Kingdom to learn their way of magic hopefully I can use the excuse of visiting family.

Last but not least I should possibly visit the Witch's Forests, the Forest and Witches in general wasn't that explored in the anime so hopefully they have some secrets I might be able to discover. I also wish to meet the Witch Queen as she is 300 years old or maybe even older so she'll have plenty to teach or give me. I just need to get something that will interest her but I'll have to wait for my magic first.
