2 Chapter 1

The year is 1600 and in the Black Clover world, a new life will soon come into existence. A baby will be born in the Clover Kingdom.

Clover Kingdom, Clover Castle, Vermillion Estate

Inside a luxurious room, a woman with long vermilion hair was screaming as she tried to give birth to a baby. She wasn't alone, a muscular man with short vermilion hair was next to her as he was holding her hand.

The name of the woman was Vesta Vermillion and she was the wife of Ares Vermillion. Both were very influential in the Clover Kingdom and they were feared and loved for their power.

But this time they had let their defences down as they were going to have a child for the first time. Both of them were young, Vesta was 23 and Ares was 25 years old

"Baby I can't do this, I think I am going to faint," Said Vesta with tears in her eyes as she had never felt so much main in her life

"Just hold on a bit more and everything will end" Said Ares as he looked with a worried face at his wife

Although the couple was talking with each other, they weren't alone in the room. The Silva Family was inside the room, the rest of the Vermillion Family, and course the doctors who were needed to help with the operation. The birth of this baby was very important not only to those people but to the whole kingdom. The baby was the union of two royals of the Vermillion Family, so that means the baby will have huge magic reserves. Not only that but his father was the current Vice Captain of the Crimson Lion squad and the heir to the Vermillion Family. On the other hand, Vesta was the best healer in the Clover Kingdom as she had Fire Magic, she was also the Vice Captain of the Blue Rose squad.

"Lady Vesta I can see the head of the baby, you need to push one last time."Said the doctor as he was ready to receive the baby

Vesta screamed and everything became quiet after she stopped screaming, but not for long as someone could be heard crying

The crying came from the baby that came into this world. That means that the baby was alive and it was healthy. Everyone rushed to see the baby but one was faster than the others and it was Ares. Ares took the baby from the hands of the doctor and held him tight in a hug.

"It's a boy, Vesta, IT'S A BOY!" Ares shouted as he was a father but his first child was also a son which was the best thing that could happen as he now could train him and teach him everything as he could understand him in the future.

But because he shouted, the baby got even louder and it couldn't stop but a fire paw made of mana took the child from Ares and gave it to Vesta.

"Dad, why did you do this?"Said to his father. His father was named Enfer he was the current Head of the Vermillion Family and the Captain of the Crimson Lion squad. He had pushed back vermilion hair with a mustache and blue eyes.

"Because you scared my grandson and Vesta needs to see her baby first."Said the middle-aged man with a stoic face

"Yeah, you are right, sorry my love" Said Ares as he went near his wife.

"It's okay Ares, I am as happy as you about our son."Said Vesta as she was hugging the baby

"So how will you name him?" Said a middle-aged man with long silver hair, purple eyes, and a long silver beard

This man was Argent Silva, the Head of the Silva Clan, the Captain of the Silver Eagle squad, and a rival to Enfer.

"We will name him Vulcan, Vulcan Vermillion," Said Vesta as she was holding Vulcan and she was crying as she felt emotional

"Hmm I like it, my son will be the strongest hahaha" Said Ares with a giant grin on his face as he started to imagine all the things he would do with his son in the future

"Don't be so sure about that young one, my daughter is just 16 and she is already 1st Clash Senior Knight, by the time your son gets his grimoire my girl will already be the Wizard Queen" Said Argent with pride in his voice, as his daughter Acier Silva just rolled her eyes at the statement her father made and just started with excitement at the newborn

"Oh please, my grandson will be a Grand Magic Knight in no time, just wait and see!"Said Enfer with pride

Then all started arguing as usual, the friendly rivalry between the Silva and Vermillion Families is more than 400 years old as both of them are descendants of the the First Wizard King Lumiel Silvamillion.

On the other hand, Vesta was just focused on Vulcan, as he now was clean and was sleeping in her arms despite the fuss that was happening in the room. Just then a girl with long silver hair and bangs that covered her forehead, was also wearing the Silver Eagle uniform. She came near Vesta and Vulcan and just started at the baby.

'Hello Acier, would you like to hold Vulcan?"Asked Vesta with a sincere smile the girl

"M-me to hold a baby, I can't!"Said a shy Acier as she took a step back

"Don't be afraid Acier, you just have to hug him and everything will be alright, I am here"Vesta reassured Acier so he can't be afraid anymore

Acier nods her head and takes little Vulcan in her hands. The baby is still sleeping but now he also smiling. Acier melts from the cuteness and she is filled with joy as she now has put herself on a new mission.

'I need to protect Vulcan and his smile, as a Magic Knight I need to protect the people of the Clover Kingdom but especially Vulcan. I will always protect him!' Thought Acier as she now was more determined than ever to train and master her Steel Magic to protect the ones dear to her

After all the fuss stopped everyone went to their usual everyday life with just now a new life in the Vermillion Family. Everyone was happy for the birth of Vulcan because they knew that he gonna became a very strong royal and a future heir to the Vermillion Family.

Timeskip 5 Years Later

Five years have gone by and Vulcan is now five years old. He has a sister that is three years old, her name is Mereoleona and he also has a younger brother named Fuegoleon who is one year old.

Because Vesta and Ares have three children they hired Theresa Rapuel who was a member of the Crimson Lion squad. She helps Vesta take care of the children and teaches Vulcan how to control his immense mana.

The kids haven't been a lot with their families in those years because Vesta and Ares have been promoted to Captains of their respective squads and have a lot more responsibilities to handle. On the other hand, Acier has been promoted to Vice Captain of the Silver Eagle squad and soon to be Captain as she has been a prodigy and a master of her magic attribute.

In those five years, Acier and Ares have been awarded numerous honors and have been the protectors of the Clover Kingdom. They have brought numerous victories against the Diamond Kingdom and they have killed three of their Generals.

The Clover Kingdom has been thriving in those years, especially the royal families as they have gained more control in the kingdom and they have acquired more Magic stones. They found three stones and they were given one to each family. Those stones can amplify magic power and can serve as multipliers for magic spells. The Vermillion Family now has three stones, Silva has two and Kira has one.

The respective users have put in excellent work of them as they are masters of mana and their magic attributes. The users are Mars, Argent, and the King of the Clover Kingdom Julius Kira Clover XII.

 Although Ares has been the face of the Vermillion Family, Vulcan has been a rising prodigy despite being only five years old. He understands difficult questions and he can wright, speak, and manipulate mana very well. That is possible because he has the help of Theresa who was an excellent support mage during her time at the Crimson Lions and of course the help and privileges of someone born into a royal family. Ares makes sure that when he has free time he uses it to speak with his son and explains to him the advantages he has over other people his age and how to maximize everything that he has been given, to become a strong leader and the future Wizard King.

This means that Vulcan has a lot of pressure on him even though he is just a little boy, everyone expects a lot from him, and they have placed their dreams on his shoulders to fulfill their desires. Their desires are understandable because who wouldn't want wealth, fame, and of course power. Our hero lives in a world where everything is determined by your status as a citizen and your mana reserves. The Clover Kingdom is even divided into the Noble Realm, Common, and of course the Forsaken Realm. If you haven't been born in the Noble Realm then you don't have an opinion about anything and the rayals are gods.

All this has been happening in the past thousand years and no one seems to want to change it, or if someone wants to he just can't do anything as it requires a lot of power and influence to cause an uprising. The royals and nobles take advantage of the situation and feel that they are above everyone and they can rule and treat the others however they want but there are a few exceptions like Ares,Vesta, and Acier as they have been in the front battles and they have lived long enough to the Forsaken Realm that they just have erased the propaganda their families have taught them and now they strive for a better future for their children and the whole kingdom.

Now they have to pass down their own beliefs to their children to bring a change to this kingdom for the better but their work will be far from easy.
