Chapter 2

Although I'm very delighted to receive this world as my destination there is just one tiny bit of a problem and that is, I don't know much about that world except for the important characters like the main characters and a few episodes of the anime adaptation of the manga along with a few chapters of the manga itself.

"Hmmm! A magic world, I haven't encountered this in quite a while however unfortunately for both me and you, I will be messing up your memories about that world. Hehe!"

"What! Why~?"

"What do you mean 'Why'? I just told you that the reason I'm reincarnating you is for you to provide me with entertainment. What kind of entertainment will you provide me if you already know about the future and every threat that makes the world interesting? However, just for your sake, I will let you keep your memories intact since it might provide you some guidance... Now then, let's get to the second part."

"Normally, I would have given you the chance to make a wish for your boons but I have something different in mind."

SNAP!... BANG!!

The old man snapped his hands and immediately a huge roulette appeared in the room and upon seeing the roulette, I curious looked at it and noticed many things on them many things that I remember from the many manga and animes that I have read and watched in my life.

I can already guess where this is going but I still need to ask in case I'm wrong with my assumptions.

"What is this for?"

"Well, I figured that making you humans make your own wishes makes it very easy for the worlds that you will end up in so I decided to stop that and go with luck instead. This roulette here will determine the boons you will be getting for your next life and you have only two chances."

I carefully started going through everything on the roulette but there were only a handful of things that I could see and recognize due to there being over a hundred thousand names written on the roulette and from the handful that I was able to see, I could tell that the roulette is made up of four things.

The first thing is items. Yes, item and there are common items like bread knives, kitchen knives and even belts. There are also rare items like magic swords and sacred gears from the DxD world.

The second branch is of course skills, abilities and powers and just like the item branch, there are a bunch of normal abilities mixed in with extremely rare and powerful ones.

The third branch is bloodlines and of course, there were useless ones, common ones and the good ones and each good bloodline somehow had their detailed information about them underneath it.

The last branch of the names mixed in on the roulette is companion or allies and among them, there were normal companions like cats and dogs and there were also magic versions of them along with some really OP ones like dragons and Phoenix.

"Now that you have thoroughly gone through it, you can begin by snapping your fingers."

SNAP!... SWOOSH!!!

The old man relaxed himself in his chair and turned towards the roulette after saying that and then snapped his fingers which made the roulette immediately start to spin at insane speed that made the colour on the it look like that have been combined. I crossed both of my hands after seeing this and started praying to God, Buddha or Lady Luck herself to shower her blessing on me.

"Kid, what do you think you are doing? Praying to me when you are sitting right in front of me... How funny can you be?"

I didn't pay any mind to the old nan but I did stop praying and looked at spinning roulette. The roulette continued spinning for a full five minutes before it started slowing down and after another five minutes it came to a standstill and I couldn't believe what I got but happiness soon overcame my heart.

"Hahaha! A System, It seems you really do have some luck but you shouldn't be too over excited as you do know what type of system it is."

The old man laughed at me again but I ignored him just like last time and focused on the reward. The name that the arrow of the roulette on was indeed a system, there was nothing special attached to it just a plain old system which leaves it to my luck again to decide which type I will get and it falls under companions.

Anyway, from my inspection of the roulette, I noticed that there were systems written on it but it has been classified into two groups namely the common system and the special system.

If you are someone who likes to read or watch system genre fictional works then you will know the difference but I will explain to you anyway.

The Common System which only appeared once on the roulette is a system that has only the common functions of systems like [Status], [Inventory], [Quest] and [Analysis] while the Special System on the other hand has all the common functions of a system and also possess a special function unique to it.

An example of this function is the Special System called the Template System which allows the user to extract the character templates of fictional characters and inherit their powers. Another one is the Roulette System which allows its users to spin a roulette every day to get powerful or weak items and power depending on their luck.

There are also common special systems but these systems are usually the systems with a shop function and those which appear multiple times in different users like the Gamer System.

The System I obtained on the other hand is a neutral system with doesn't have a category yet but it will gain a category when I have been reincarnated and the class depends on my lack but I don't seriously care about that as every system whether special or common has one thing in common and that is giving the user limitless growth potential via leveling up.

"You really have done your homework very well kid but now I'm interested in seeing what you will receive with your remaining two spins, you can spin them yourself by snapping your fingers."

SNAP!... SWOOSH!!!

Just like the first spin, the roulette started spinning again for the second time after snapping my fingers as instructed. The spinning went on for another full five minutes before it started to slow down and went it did, I jumped from my seat and came right in front of it to see my reward.

"Bloodline/ Race: Half Human - Half Devil!"

That right, the race that the arrow of the roulette pointed at after coming to a stop is of a hybrid race or to be more specific, a Human-devil hybrid.

From the information that I have of the Black Clover world, there are roughly five races and these races are the very typical human race, the elemental spirit race, the Dwarven race, the Elven race and finally the demon race.

Among all these five the devil race is pretty much the most powerful race within the world with some of them being easily able to destroy moons and planets and this is very much so when it comes to the supreme devils as they all hold power over one of the conceptual elements like space, time and gravity.

Being reincarnated as a devil is something that my luck chose for and thinking about it carefully, it seems to make a little bit of sense as I who was born a human was given the name of the supreme devil and thus treated like the devil.

"Hmmm, you don't seem that bothered about being reborn as a devil. In fact, you have already accepted it. Really interesting.... Well, now that we are done with everything, let us move to the last part of this which is the part where you design your own appearance."

".... Design my appearance?!"

A holographic screen appeared before me after the old man was done talking and on it was a featureless avatar with all the options for customization available on the screen. I immediately understood what the old man meant by his words but I don't actually think I will need to create or design a new body I was actually born with a very handsome appearance.

My physical appearance is that of a young man standing at the height of 180 at the age of seventeen with a well-trained and developed physique. I possessed shoulder-length pitch-black hair and crimson-red eyes which along with my pale skin and name played a major role in my situation.

Despite having all these good and attractive physical qualities, I think I will make some adjustments so without wasting any more time after I have made my decision and started.

I first projected an image of myself onto the screen and then started the adjustments. I adjusted my overly feminine facial features to a more masculine one with a little bit of elegance and a very cold and indifferent expression that made me very pleasing to the eyes.

I followed up with this and did a recreation of my physique and made it more muscular yet at the same time very lean than my previous one with my skin being more paler and then deepened the colour of my hair making it abyssal black.

I carefully took my time to observe my overall charm after I was done before passing it over to the old man who also inspected it and nodded his head in satisfaction which confused me a little bit but I didn't ask him anything regarding it.

"Very good, lad. Now all that is left is your memories."

The old man got up from his chair and came before me, he then placed his hand on my head and just like he had stated before all the important knowledge about the future that I gained from both light novels, web novels, manga and even the anime all started to disappear one after the other and after an hour later all that I have were events that took place in the past and basic knowledge about the world like skills and the rest.

"You don't need to feel too bad as the memories that you have may come in handy since I will be Sandy ing you many years into the past... Now, bye-bye and have a good time."

"... Thank you."

My body started to disappear immediately after the old man finished his thing and I had very little time to thank him.
