Grimoire

15 Years Later——

3rd Person POV

"SISTER LILY, ONE DAY ILL BE THE WIZARD KING AND ILL MAKE YOU THE HAPPIEST WOMEN IN THE WORLD SO PLEASE MARRY ME!!!"

"Sorry Asta I just can't" spoke Sister Lily to the short kid named Asta.

"I WONT GIVE!! NOT NOW, NOT—" before he could finish someone came from behind and hit him on the head.

"Shhh, be quiet your too loud." said a handsome kid, with nice facial features, standing around 5:11, with light blue hair and light blue eyes. He spoke in a cold voice. This was of course Daven.

"Asta she's a women of the cloth, she can't marry." Stated by a black haired boy in the background, this was Yuno. He was with the rest of the kids at the church.

Asta: "YOU THINK YOUR SO SMART YUNO, ILL SHOW YOU!!" (Decided to change talking style mid writing, makes things easier for me)

Daven: "Asta stop yelling, todays the day we get our grimoires. So show Yuno after you get yours."

——Scene change——

Inside the Grimoire Tower

Father: "Daven why are you sitting against the wall with us, why don't you go join Asta and Yuno?"

Daven: In a cold and uncaring voice he replied "I'm good."

Daven turns his head towards the voices he hears and frowns.

Noble 1: "You see them, we shouldn't give Grimoires to anybody who comes off the streets."

Noble 2: "Yeah, you see the short one I heard he couldn't even use magic." He stated while laughing.

Then all of a sudden a booming voice could be heard

Wizard: "Welcome to Grimoire tower! Today is the day you take your first steps into becoming mages! Nobody has distinguished themes elves from this part of the region. I sincerely hope that you guys will prove me wrong. And now to accept your grimoires."

The grimoires started to glow and float down to the people

Person 1: "Finally!"

Person 2: "Look at my grimoire!"

Person 3: "Mine is bigger than yours."

Bickering went on like this until a voice was heard

Asta: "Hey uhhhh, where's my grimoire?"

Wizard: "Try again next year."

Asta: "WHATTT!!!"

Everybody started laughing at him over the fact that he wasn't chosen but they soon become quiet again when they saw two lights shine brighter than any other. One of them bright yellow and the other a blinding white.

Wizard: "No way… are those 4 leaf grimoires!"

The yellow one slowly floated down in front of Yuno and the blue appeared before Daven. Daven's grimoire was white in color, with some gold markings along the sides.

Father: "The grimoire off the first wizard king, one filled with great power and luck." He spoke while shaking

Yuno: "I will become the wizard king!" He said confidently

Cheers erupted from the people within the tower. Daven however wanted no part in this, he took his grimoire amongst the jealous and envious gazes and walked out. Unknown to him someone walked out after him.

?: "Too think I'd find such a thing in this poor village.. hahahah"

Asta however was slowly standing up.

Asta: "Yuno I am your rival!!! I'll catch up to you and become wizard king!!""

Everyone laughed and though the same thing 'This kid his rival, that's absurd.'

Yuno stared at Asta and walked out without saying anything.

What do you guys think I was struggling with what Davens magic was going to be but then I thought fuck it I'm only doing this for fun might as well give him whatever and see what to do later on. Tell me if you guys liked it or not. Also suggestions would be nice.
