8 Chapter 8: Official Magic Knight
A/N: Shout out to 'Fangjo', been fixing any mistakes i've made while writing this fic, appreciate it.
This chapter isn't the best, probably the worst one in fact, especially towards the end, so forgive me for that.
Reminders for this fic:
- MC only has knowledge of up to the end of elf stuff/VERY beginning of spade stuff.
- This is an OP MC fic, along with a weak to strong, meaning MC will obviously have many opportunities to become the strongest. This also means quite a few ass-pulls to become OP may happen.

"The squad I'd like to join is..."
Suzaku paused, adding to the suspense much to the anticipation of the examinees and the captains.
"The black bulls" He looked up at Yami, who slightly widened his eyes in surprise.
"The black bulls...?" The crowd gossiped in silence between one another, confused as to why such a promising mage like Suzaku would join the black bulls.
Meanwhile, in the captain area above, even the captains spoke amongst each other as they were shocked at the call.
"This can not be allowed, such a promising mage should not be in such a squad like the black bulls" Surprisingly Nozel, of all people, stated.
"Hah? You got somethin' to say about my squad, sissy cap'n?" Yami asked with a glare as he smoked his cigarette, much to the dissatisfaction of Nozel who challenged his look.
"Did you say something, low-born captain of a low-born squad?" Nozel argued, causing the other captains to get in between them.
"Both of you, calm down..." William insisted with a low voice as he looked at Suzaku down below, "Save this for later, the boy is still down there, Yami" He said, causing Yami to stand up slowly.
"Right right..." He stood up lazily, "Welcome to the squad, kid" He dropped back down to his seat, before looking at the back of Suzaku as he walked back into the stunned crowd.
"Next..."

Suzaku walked with Yami, Gordon and Finral. Asta was with them but he had ran off after needing to take a massive dump.
Suzaku had a small smile on his face as he looked at his notification he received a minute ago.
[User has officially become a magic knight, congratulations! 10,000 points has been awarded!]
[As an extra reward for user becoming a magic knight, along with double points, user will receive 10,000 points in mana and a free auxiliary magic spin]
Before this notification, Suzaku received three notifications asking if he wanted to copy either Yami's, Finral's or Gordan's magic, to which he denied them all.
'Free auxiliary? What does tha- oh right' Suzaku cut himself off mentally as he remembered the system always answered his questions before he even fully asks them.
Time around Suzaku stopped, causing Yami and the other two to freeze in place along with everything else except for himself.
A massive wheel then appeared with hundreds of different things written on it ranging from [Thought Projection] to [Reality Manipulation]
'Wait wha- Reality Manipulation?? You're telling me I can get something that busted just for becoming a magic knight??
Not only that, but I got (Pretty much) 30,000 free points as well?? ...
Sweet~ I love you, system, make sure you stay with me till the day I die'
[This system is linked with you, user. That means if user disappears, the system disappears with you] The system backed Suzaku's cheer, [Spin wheel? Y/N]
'Yes, obviously' Suzaku pressed as the massive wheel began to spin.
*Trik Trik* The noise of the wheel hitting the pointer at the top of the wheel repeated thousands of times within a few seconds as it began slowing down.
"..." Suzaku focused his eyes on the pointer as the wheel was about to stop, until...
[User has received 'Territory' as an auxiliary magic, congratulations!]
[Territory is a spatial magic that involves the manipulation of area space. This magic allows user to manipulate the space around any object or substance of your choice, allowing for great versatility. User can manipulate space as means of defense, offense, and support by teleporting people and/or objects of their choice, and granting the user the ability to switch places with other people who are in close proximity. The limits to the magic include being unable to warp to distances out the user's "space", and this will remain the same for user]
[P.S. The user's "Space" will increase the more you train the magic and improve it. Additionally, as this is a magic rewarded by the system, no grimoire is needed to use it]
'Woah, so I pretty got Law's devil fruit. Thank you Minerva and the system for the good luck!' He thanked as knowledge of how to use the spell entered his mind, 'So now I have electricity and spatial magic, AND I can get another type of magic when I copy it... Please marry me, system!'
[Unfortunately for you, though the user has a particular "Taste", the system is merely an entity that exists thanks to your existence. So it is impossible for the user to marry the system]
'I was joking...' Suzaku deadpanned as he looked at the notification, 'Let's look at my stats now, though' He shook his head as he opened his new stats.
[Name: Suzaku Kirin]
[Age: 16 Years Old]
[Talent: Copy Magic Ability (One-Time)]
[Abilities: Lightning Magic (4-Leaf), NEW! Spatial Magic (Territory) ]
[Points: 0 -> 20,000]
[Strength: 10,000 Points] [Strength Rank: B-]
[Agility: 10,000 Points] [Agility Rank: B-]
[Vitality: 10,000 Points] [Vitality Rank: B-]
[Magic: 23,080 -> 33,080 Points] [Magic Rank: B-]
Time then began to move again.
Suddenly, as soon as time began to move, Yami's eyes widened slightly as he looked over his shoulder at Suzaku.
'This guy... He feels stronger' Yami thought, not being noticed by Suzaku who was too happy seeing his upgrades.
"Captain, I need to go to the toilet, can I go?" Finral asked, to which Yami nodded.
"Pst pst pst..." Gordon muttered inaudibly.
"Yeah yeah, go" Yami shrugged off, causing Gordon to nod as he walked off, leaving Yami and Suzaku by themselves.

"..."
The two walked in silence, with Suzaku slightly behind Yami as he followed.
"Alright, listen here..." Yami suddenly spoke once they walked into a dead-end.
He turned around, looking into Suzaku's eyes as they stood at the same height, "What's the real reason you joined my squad" He asked in a threatening tone as he raised his magic power, weighing Suzaku down a little.
'Shit! The sudden pressure of his mana caught me off guard...' Suzaku panted as he firmed the mana pressure before he looked up at Yami with a stern look.
"A person as gifted as you, who had the opportunity to choose any other squad to join, decided to choose the squad renowned as the 'worst squad'... Suspicious, dontcha think?" Yami stated as he exhaled his cig smoke.
"No real reason... Haa... Just that... This squad seems fun" He answered as Yami slightly lowered his mana pressure, allowing Suzaku to ease up a little, "And that... hoo~... it doesn't seem like one of those squads who discriminate against commoners"
"What about Jack's insect squad then, the majority of the squad is made up of commoners..." Yami rebuked.
"To be honest, that guy gives me the creeps, plus I don't like bugs and insects, eugh..." Suzaku cringed as he pictured all kinds of insects and bugs, "Plus Asta joined this squad, so I'd already know someone"
Yami looked at Suzaku in silence, who began to panic on the inside, 'Shit... I'm not on Yami's bad side, am I...?'
Yami then raised his hand, causing Suzaku to raise his guard and be ready to teleport away then run with godspeed. What he didn't expect though, was for Yami to pat his shoulder a few times as he laughed.
"Hahaha! I see I see... alright, you gave a valid enough reason to join my squad..." Yami smiled, before it turned into a blank look with dead eyes, "But do anything to my squad, and I'll kill you" Suzaku nodded in response with his mouth shut, "Good, good!" Yami turned smiley again as he kept patting his shoulder as the voices of the other three could be heard coming closer.

"Let's go, Finral"
"Yes, sir" Finral responded to Yami as he opened a gate with his spatial magic.
"Since you can't fly on a broomstick, we'll be using this guy's magic to get there instantly" Yami stated as he gripped Asta's head after he yapped about his shit.
"U-Umm, Yami, sir, could you maybe, hurry up?" Finral said as he struggled, causing Yami to glare at him
"Hey, who do you think you're barking orders to? Tough it out and surpass your limits" He then threw Asta through the gate, "Now go!"
After that, the remaining 4 walked through the gate and arrived at the Black Bull's base.
*BOOM!*
A massive explosion broke the door to the base, surprising Asta and Suzaku.
"OKAY, NOW I'M PISSED! READY TO GET YOUR ASS KICKED!?" A delinquent-looking guy shouted to a blonde boy.
"I'm not ready, bring it-" The blonde boy was about to reply with a smile, but suddenly, he stopped himself and had bloodthirsty eyes as he turned to look at Suzaku.
Suzaku's eyes met with Luck, a line of electricity spawned between their eyes like some anime/cartoon, as they started each other down.
'Why... do I have this urge to fight all of a sudden?' Suzaku's eyes and body began to shake in excitement, similar to Luck as they kept staring each other.
"HAAA! DIE DIE DIE!" Magna shouted, not being able to read the mood between the two as he summoned a fire bat and smashed 3 fire balls with it, sending it to Luck.
"Shut up..." Luck said as he easily destroyed the fireball with his lightning, causing mini explosions. He then summoned his lightning boots and gloves as he pounced at Suzaku, "This guy's mine to fight!"
In response to this, Suzaku activated his godspeed, surprising Yami and Gordon as they didn't see this form in the exam.
Luck aimed a kick to Suzaku's face, a kick similar to that of Genos' kick against Saitama, to which Suzaku ducked under.
Missing his target, Luck had to stabilise himself as he skid on the floor and looked at Suzaku covered in his purple lightning.
The two were now 5 or so metres apart as they stared each other down, ignoring anybody and anything else around them.
Suzaku raised his palm and moved his hand as he taunted, "Come on..."
"With pleasure!" Luck smiled crazily.

At first I thought giving MC another magic would be too op, until I realised: 1. Others have more than 1 magic, 2. This is an OP MC fic
