4 Chapter 4: 6 Months Training For The Exam Part 1
For the first month, out of 6, of training for the magic knight's exam, Suzaku decided the best thing to do was become more accustomed to his lightning magic before doing anything else.
'Let's see, the system said I'm able to create spells based off imagination due to its assistance, so that's awesome... If I had to choose my favourite lightning ability to copy first, it'd probably be... that!' He became excited and opened his grimoire instantly to begin making his own spell.
He began by closing his eyes and imagining lightning surrounding his body because... well, he guessed that was the right thing to do.
'...' He began to sweat, but no results showed as there was still no lightning.
'Why's it not working?' He gave up after what felt like a minute or two and opened his eyes in complaint.
[Though the system makes it so the user's spells are limited by their imagination, that doesn't mean the user is able to skip the usual procedure when it comes to magic. User must have the basic ability to use, control and shape his mana freely before being able to come up with spells] (A/N: Hopefully that explanation makes sense)
'I see... so basically I need to "Become one with the lightning", I think...
But how the hell do I do that??'
[User must not worry, the system will implant the knowledge of "Mana Manipulation for beginners" so the user knows how to do so... the rest is up to you]

"AAAHHHH!" Suzaku screamed as he grabbed his head that felt like it was about to explode and implode at the same time.
"Haa... Haa..." The pain lasted for about a minute or so, causing Suzaku to sweat profusely and breath heavily.
'I see... so that's what I've got to do first' He thought as he dropped himself into a lotus position on the floor, 'Time for some Xianxia type shit, let's go!'
Closing his eyes, Suzaku began to shut off everything around him, attempting to enter a blank state. Though it took a while (An hour or so), he eventually ended up perfecting the skill as he ended up in a place devoid of any light, sound, etc.
'Next... locate the mana around the stomach area... found ya' Then he did some other stuff like moving it around his body, moving it out of his body, and slowly but surely becoming more adept in using and controlling his mana over the month.

It was near the end of the first month, when Suzaku finally heard a ding from the system after all this time

'I'll put my magic stat up to 1000 and save the rest for now'

[Magic: 640 -> 740 -> 1000 Points] [Magic Rank: D -> D+ ->C-]
'Looks like it's 100 for D rank, and 1000 for C rank... does it go up by 10x?... Damn, that might be long' He sighed, but accepted it as he wouldn't complain about his situation he was in... unless he were to die or something.
'Anyway, now I can hopefully start to learn that skill finally' He thought with excitement.
He began by, like last time, closing his eyes and imagining lightning surrounding his body. But differently to last time, he actually controlled his mana around his body, and did the same for inside his body not just outside before making his mana turn into lightning. (A/N: I think that's how the magic works for Black Clover, bc the heart kingdom has 'True Magic' which produces the real thing. If not, oh well, it's my story)
After a little while, results were shown as a purple aura surrounded his body, and his hair spiked up a little with a hue of purple lightning.
Yes, unlike the usual blue lightning seen, Suzaku's lightning was purple instead. Whether it was just an appearance difference, or if it meant his lightning was stronger or something, he had no idea currently.
[User has successfully created a spell! What would user like to name his new spell?] The dinging sound of the system brought joy to Suzaku's face.
"FUCK YEAH!" Suzaku cheered, not noticing the lightning around his body getting weaker with each passing second.
[Is user sure he would like to name his new spell: 'FUCK YEAH!'? Y/N]
'Wait, no!' He hurriedly pressed no, with the same previous pop-up showing, asking him to name his new spell.
'Godspeed'
[Is user sure he would like to name his new spell: 'Godspeed'? Y/N] He pressed Yes
[User has successfully created the spell 'Godspeed (New)'!] His lightning grimoire then proceeded to open by itself and write some words on a random page.
[User has successfully created his first functioning spell, congratulations! 500 Points have been awarded!]
[Points: 240 -> 740]
'"New?" What does that mean-' He finished his question, but was surprised after his Godspeed wore off after only a minute and felt exhaustion hit him like a truck.
[That highlights the user's mastery of a spell. The rank of mastery goes: New -> Basic -> Intermediate -> Advanced -> Mastered]
[User's mastery will increased based off a spell's power, speed, mana consumption etc. For example, your 'Godspeed' only lasts a minute and uses up most of your mana once done. Furthermore, if you were to run in that state, you'd be able to see you are no where near lightning speed.]
'That's understandable, at least that means I won't be overpowered instantly and make everything boring. Don't wanna be like my bro Saitama' He though as he imagined being bald and cringed, 'Yeah, no'
'Now the question is should I go for the quality or quantity route...?
I mean, I guess I can start by making at least one offensive spell, then worry about that. What one though, I wonder...' He went into a deep thought and delved into his mind for a easy but strong lightning offensive move to copy off an anime character.
'Oo, I've got one!'

It only took a few days for Suzaku's offensive spell to be made fortunately, officially marking the end of the first month.

'Heaven's Judgement'

Copying Enel's El Thor, a character from the One Piece anime who ate the thunder fruit, Suzaku's current mastery allows for a weak purple lightning to strike down on a single small spot from anywhere within 5 metres of himself. Fortunately, the magic didn't use up too much magic, especially compared to Godspeed.
'The actual translation is "God's Judgement", but that sounds like I have a god complex like Enel, so I'd rather not... and to be honest Heaven's Judgement lowkey sounds better in my opinion' He thought.
'Also, no points for a new spell?'
[No, user does not get points for every new spell created]
Now, he decided to spend the 2nd month to increase the mastery of his current two spells.
