17 Chapter 16: Dungeon Finale
A/N: I forgot (Due to it being a while) that MC should've received a quest from the system due to this, obviously, being a quest:

[Quest requirement: "Enter the treasure room, and prevent the Diamond Kingdom mages from doing so by either killing them, arresting them, or letting them run away"]

Falling for Suzaku's taunt, Mars re-summoned his Laevatinn sword.
"Die, you irrelevant pebble" He swung his arm down towards Suzaku, causing the sword to slice in his direction.
"Uh oh..." Suzaku widened his eyes and had his mouth open in shock as the sword was inches away from him... "Sike" His open mouth turned into a smirk as he pointed his index finger at the sword.
[Lightning Magic: Lightning Spear] Multiple beams of lightning condensed into one as a singular blast of purple lightning shot out from Suzaku's index finger.
*ZIP* *KRK* *BOOM!*
The lightning spear pierced through the sword, easily destroying it as it kept travelling towards Mars' astounded figure before causing an explosion in his place.
Unfortunately for Suzaku and the others, Mars had been fortunate enough to replace himself with another doll in time to avoid the damage from the lightning itself.
Thought, that didn't stop Mars from suffering a little damage from the explosion.
"Not bad" Not learning from his lesson, Mars created another Laevatinn in one hand, "But what about this?" [Crystal Creation Magic: Talos Doll Cluster]
A large quantity of dolls spawned besides Mars as they all simultaneously charged at the lone Suzaku.
'Shit, that's quite a lot...' Suzaku thought as he took out his katana from his Territory
(A/N: I don't remember where I said MC would place his katana/weapons, so I've decided to put them in his territory)
"What the hell!? Where'd he get that sword from?! And what was that green, swirly thing?!" Klaus asked a barrage of questions which fell upon deaf ears, "DON'T IGNORE ME!"
"Don't question it" Yuno put his hand on Klaus' shoulder as he shook his head.
[Lightning Magic: Godspeed + Thunderclap and Flash - Sword Variant] In his Godspeed form, Suzaku bent down slightly as he flashed and appeared in the middle of all the dolls.
Widening his eyes at Suzaku's speed, Mars couldn't help but look at him in shock as he saw a purple blur dispose all his crystal dolls at a quick speed.
Having defeated all the dolls, Suzaku couldn't help but take a little breather, "Hoo..." 'Man, using that after creating a new spell, and then using Godspeed prior to that has taken quite a toll on me'
"Not bad for a pebble... but you're looking a little tired, how about having a nice rest?" Mars 'nicely' asked.
"No thank you" Suzaku replied, to which Mars chuckled slightly
"That was a rhetorical question... now have a nice eternal rest" Mars stated as the crystal sword descended upon Suzaku's heavy breathing yet smirking figure.
"Sorry, Rock boy..." Suzaku's eyes were filled with determination as he looked into Mars' cold eyes, "But my time isn't over yet"
As Suzaku said those words, the Laevatinn had been sliced in half as a blur appeared in front of Suzaku.
"Hey, pale dude..." The blur, now recognised as Asta from the Black Bulls, spoke up "Hands off...
MY FRIENDS!" He shouted as he had no visible injuries.
Everyone from the Golden Dawns and even Mars looked at Asta in astonishment at his capability.
"We couldn't even scratch him... yet this boy managed to slice through that sword?" Klaus muttered in disbelief as he couldn't believe that his previous words might be false.
"Well of course... after all" Yuno said with a soft smile as he looked at Asta's muscular, small back, "He's my rival to becoming the Wizard King!"
"Hey, Yuno, Suzaku! I finally caught up to you guys, and what're you doing!? Don't tell me you guys were actually about to lose to this guy!?" He shouted as he turned around towards the group.
'I'm being ignored, again' Mars thought as he got the feeling of Deja Vu watching Asta and the others communicate as if he wasn't there.
"Of course not, I sensed Luck and Noelle's mana- There they are" Suzaku got cut off by Luck's and Noelle's entrance, "-Anyway, I sensed their mana and I knew you'd be ahead of them, so I just let you do that.
Now, I can finish of this guy" Suzaku stated as he rested his katana on his shoulder in an attempt to look cool, which worked.
"Alright, not a bad reasoning..." Asta said as she nodded his head multiple times, "BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU, YUNO!? LOOK AT YOU!" Asta shouted at the bruised Yuno.
"I was gonna defeat that guy with my ultimate counter move, but Suzaku stopped me and took my spotlight" Yuno said with a serious face.
"SAY WHAT!? YOU LIAR! YOU'RE ALL BEAT UP!" Asta then saw Yuno walk besides him, "...Alright then!...
LET'S SEE WHICH OF US TAKES THIS GUY DOWN FIRST!" Asta shouted as he, Suzaku and Yuno faced Mars.
"Heyyy! I'm here too! Let me join in on the fun!" An excited luck appeared beside them with his usual crazed smile.
Besides Mimosa, Noelle had appeared as she said, "Oh, I wish you hadn't seen me like this..." Mimosa said weakly, "It's just as you said. I'm slow, hehe..." She laughed silently
"...True, you've always been like that, so..." Noelle replied sternly as she opened her grimoire, "I'll just have to protect you" [Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Nest] Her spell protected Mimosa and her spell within the water.
"So, he's the one who took you guys down, huh?... He must be pretty strong then-" Asta commented
"Correction, he took the Golden Dawns down" Suzaku pettily added for jokes as he nudged Yuno from the side which caused him to twitch as he couldn't really deny it.
[Mineral Creation Magic: Talos Doll Cluster] A larger quantity of dolls - around double if not more compared to last time - spawned as they charged towards the group.
'Shame I don't get any Points for defeating those guys... I guess it's because they're spells' Suzaku sighed.
"On the battlefield... the weak should perish..." Mars began to do his villain monologue, "I was born, to break weak people like you"
"Oh yeah? Then go o-" Asta was about to charge in response at the dolls, but Suzaku put out his arm in front of him to block him from moving, "Suzaku?"
"No one move, let me do something" Suzaku took a step forward with his katana in hand.
Closing his eyes for better concentration, Suzaku raised his purple katana above his head as a 50m tall lightning blade formed, [Lightning Magic: Thunder God's Excalibur]
"What the..." Klaus, Noelle, and Mimosa looked at the spell in shock
"Woahh!" Asta and Luck exclaimed in excitement
"..." Yuno could only watch in awe as he stayed silent
Suzaku's eyes snapped open as he slashed down upon Klaus and his dolls.
*BOOOOOMMM!* A massive explosion shook the dungeon slightly.
"Haa... Haa..." Suzaku breathed heavily and even fell on one knee as he felt most of his mana being depleted.
[Thunder God's Excalibur (Basic) has upgraded to Thunder God's Excalibur (Intermediate), congratulations! User has received 2000 Points!] (A/N: Upgrades will be at end)

'Thank god, I needed that' Suzaku proceeded to put all his points into Magic.

Feeling some of his mana replenish fortunately, Suzaku's heavy breathing softened as he slowly stood back up on his feet.
"Woah! You okay!?" Asta supported Suzaku, who waved it off.
"Yeah, I'm fine... for the most part at least" Suzaku then took a look in Mars' direction.
He already knew Mars hadn't been defeated by that move, unsurprisingly, as he hadn't received any points signalling his defeat.
That move was mainly to destroy the dolls, injure Mars, and to show off a little but no one needs to know that.
"It's alright, Suzaku! You can rest now!" Asta confidently stated, "Leave the rest to us!"
"Go ahead" Without a second of hesitation, Suzaku sat his ass down on the floor as he watched Asta cut through Mars' dolls with ease.
On the side, Suzaku could heard Klaus and Noelle arguing about Asta and his anti-magic and whatnot, but he chose to ignore it as he focused on resting and recovering his mana - and possibly getting a sneak attack on Mars.
'Let's see... if I were to defeat Mars, we'd enter the treasure room anyway and Yuno would receive Sylph or whatever her name is, and I think Asta receives his other sword there too... so in other words, it's completely fine to defeat Mars now, I think'
As Suzaku was thinking to himself about some things, an angered and bloody Mars revealed himself as he activated a different spell, [Crystal Creation Magic: Heavy Armoured Titan]
"What... are you?" Mars, forgetting about Suzaku due to the anomaly known as Asta appearing in front of him, asked.
Similar to Mars, Asta himself was also bloody and torn as he held his anti-magic sword in both hands whilst breathing heavy, "I'm just a human...
With absolutely no magic at all"
Asta's words riled Klaus as he muttered, "Absolutely no magic at all!? Then he really did just luck into his abilities-" His words got cut in his throat as he took a look at Asta's muscles which were now exposed due to his clothes being torn by Mars.
"Even so... I'm gonna become the Wizard King. I'm going to prove it, that's why I'm alive!!" Asta remarked, causing something to trigger within Mars as he remembered his childhood and his friend.
"I... only BREAK things. Everything!" Mars shouted in anger
"You break everything, huh!? The Wizard king PROTECTS everything!! Like I'd lose to a guy like you!!" Asta argued
"You're in the way... get lost, you piece of gravel!!" Mars said as he swung his arm towards Asta.
"Gravel may be gravel!!... But I'm a piece of gravel...
THAT SHATTERS DIAMONDS!!" Asta rebuked as he swung his sword, breaking through Mars armour as his sword collided with Mars, knocking him unconscious.
Asta raised his arm which held the sword in a celebratory manner as he announced, "Who's going into the treasure hall!? WE are, the magic knights of the Clover Kingdom!!"

The Golden Dawn and Black Bull members all stood together as Mars was currently locked up by a binding magic item.
"Anyway..." Klaus started by pushing his glasses up in a Klaus-like manner, "We were competing to see who would get here first, and in the end, we won. However, we'll let you into the treasure hall, just this once!"
"Why're you so full of yourself, Four-Eyes!? Thank you very much, ya big jerk!!" Asta shouted in response at Klaus' action.
"So uh... how do we get in?" Asta said out loud.
"Just cut through it with your sword, it's a door made of magic" Suzaku bluntly stated, causing Asta to hurriedly summon his sword from his grimoire as he slashed the door open.
The now forcefully-opened door revealed a heap of gold and other treasures which filled the massive room.
"WOOOWWWW!! IT'S A MOUNTAIN FULL OF TREASURE!!" Asta exclaimed in astonishment at the large amounts of money.
The group then ran in their own directions as they began to explore the treasure room.
Suzaku, left alone, looked around the treasure room hurriedly and noticed that both the scroll and sword were in the room.
'That's good... that means...' He quickly turned his attention back to Mars who was still unconscious, '... A little money wouldn't hurt anybody' He used his territory magic to 'borrow' a large pile of gold.
He then turned his attention back on to Mars and noticed he was starting to regain consciousness as his eyes began to twitch.
"Mmm..." Mars groaned weakly as his eyes were now open.
Still having his wounds from the previous fights, Mars opened his grimoire in an attempt to activate his healing magic as he was currently fuelled by a large amount of anger within.
"Ahh... we can't be doing that now, can we, my friend?" Suzaku's voice ringed in Mars' ears as he looked to his side to see Suzaku leaning against the treasure room door as he watched him.
"You..." Mars scowled as he looked at Suzaku's smiling face.
"Listen here, your Diamond friends are close-by..." Suzaku's face turned serious as he walked towards Mars, "I'll take you to them, as a present" Suzaku punched Mars' face, hard, which knocked him unconscious once more.

"..." Suzaku was stumped as his mouth was hung open as if a brick which was attached to a string was attached to the bottom of his mouth.
Meanwhile, with the others, Yuno had stumbled upon a scroll with words which disappeared once he had opened it.
With Asta, the anti-magic bird which follows him around - named Nero - led him to a thin sword with an appearance similar to his Demon-Slayer sword.
As for the others, they were busy just looking around in excitement.
Back to Suzaku, he was carrying the unconscious Mars towards the other Diamond members, his opened mouth still remaining the same.
"One... One hundred... Thousand..." He muttered.
A few seconds later, he had arrived near the Diamond Mages.
"Yo, this is your guy. Take him and leave" Suzaku threw Mars towards the smoke guy who looked at him in confusion.
"Uhh... thanks?" The guy could barely reply as Suzaku had already teleported back with his Territory magic.

.
"Hey... where'd the crystal guy go?" Asta asked in a panic as he got his anti-magic swords ready.
"Seems he ran away. He must've ran while we were busy checking out the treasure hall" Suzaku lied.
"Shame... we should've had someone keep an eye on him. Oh well... nothing we can do now, I suppose we should now leave" Klaus stated.
"Agreed" Yuno nodded in response.
Shortly after a bit more talking, the floor beneath them and the walls around them began to shake profusely.
"Umm... guys..." Asta said with a shaky voice, "I think the dungeon is shaking..."
"REALLY!? YOU DON'T SAY!?" Noelle shouted at Asta as if he was an idiot.
'She's not wrong, so I'll allow it' Suzaku shrugged, "We should all leave, now!"
Suzaku activated his new spell [Lightning Magic: Wings of Thor] in which he carried Asta in one arm and Mimosa the other as they were the two closest to him coincidentally.
Yuno activated his [Wind Creation Magic: Heavenly Wind Ark] and carried everyone else out of the dungeon.
"Woahhh! Another cool spell!? I'm jealous!!" Asta exclaimed with stars in his eyes as he looked at Suzaku's wings.
"Yep" Suzaku quickly replied as he began to slightly struggle in controlling his spell.
[Wings of Thor (New) has upgraded to Wings of Thor (Basic), congratulations! User has received 500 Points!] (A/N: Upgrades will be at end)
An extra 500 points had been received, making it 100,500 now.
With the upgrade, the wings were now easier to control and flight became even faster.
"Umm... t-thanks, for everything" Mimosa thanked as her face flushed in embarrassment at the way Suzaku was holding her - She had grown up thinking of this as super indecent (Being a noble can be rough sometimes).
"No problem... I don't think I ever got your name, have I? I'm Suzaku Kirin, it's nice to meet you!" He said with a smile.
"Mimosa Vermillion, it's a pleasure" Mimosa replied with a smile in response, no longer flushing in embarrassment as she got used to his touch.
"And I'm Asta!" Asta innocently added with a shout and big smile
"We know"

. 50m -> 100m length, 5cm -> 15cm Width (Controllable)
. More Damage + Paralysis/Stun
. Still unable to differ between foe and ally completely, but the damage to allies will be reduced by a lot compared to foes.
. Easier/Quicker to form
Wings of Thor (New ->Basic)
. Faster Flight
. Easier to Control
. Consumes Less mana
. Wings become more durable
