FIRST DEATH

Waking up as an opharn in a room with my sister.

"David good morning, how was your night." Sofia asked as she washed her face in the bathroom.

"Farewell." I gave her a straight answer.

As she came out of the washroom, I headed into the shower and prepare to go to school while my sister also goes to the market.

When our parent died, they left us with this house and some amout of managable properties. With the help of our parent's lawer, we were allowed to stay in our house while the government hands us twenty bucks every month to make a living. The government also assures that I go to school to further my education.

While I was having a shower, my syster called out to me. "David I would be heading over to the market to get some food stuffs, make sure you head to school early!"

"Okay, I would be doing just that!" I shouted beck to her as the door closes behind her.

After dressing and eating the breakfast my sister made for me, I decided to play some games as school isn't my thing. I decided to play some football games, after that I shifted to mortal Kombat. I felt bored and decided to watch movie. By this time, our first lesson, Mathematics was being treated.

Meanwhile, Sofia was on her way home through the market. As she was coming, she saw a boy who lookes exactly like her brother. Short curly hair, chiseled jawline, and a bit of swag; moving his entire body back and forth. And wearing a big black hoodie and draged the hood downwards. Ready to stormp him with anger, she felt something hold her arm very tight. As soon as she looked at what held her arm, she saw some one in all black and wearing a bandana over his mouth and nose to hide his identity. But the suprising thing here is that there are three of them dressed in the same manner. Maybe a gang. These men were asking me for all of my money, which i told them i didn't have, a phone which i explained that I didn't also have. So they took what i bought and tore the bag. Due to this, I started screaming explaining to them that I am an opharn and this is our only foodsuffs.

"Short up ophy, one of them said whiles holding my mouth calling me an ophy in a short form of opharn. I didn't allow them to pull me around and continues to scream. Then all of a sudden, a boy came in and shouted, "Get away from my sister!" Looking at the boy very well, I realized that it was the boy I saw earlier, so I was right. Then I noticed something, before my very weak brother could punch the person who was holding me to the wall.

'BANG' 'BANG'

Two bullets was released into the scull of my brother, coming from the gangster opposite me.

As i was I was bored from playing mortal Kombat, I decided to go tho my friends place. The road to that place is also connected to that of the market, so I was praying deep down in my heart that my sister wouldnt see me. I had walked for a pretty long time now and started hearing screams in a particular direction in between two buildings. 

"Doesn't this scream sound so familiar, .... Ooh yeah, it sound like my sis whenever she's depressed. Well, she isn't around here so let me walk off." I decided to walk away so that i do not cause any problem for my self. As I was walking pass the building, I decided to just oook that way to see who it was.

"Sister?". I said under my breath and I gathered courage and ran towards thier direction. I didn't want to call the cops, because i wanted to deal with them alone, and they wouldn't get there early. 

"Get away from my sister!" I shouted trying to punch the gangster holding my sister's mouth.

All of a sudden, I heard two loud bang and realized that I was failing. I was falling to the ground. And my sight blacked out just immidiately. 

When I opened my eyes, I was met in a very dark large room and a table in the middle.

"Is this heaven, but i was told that heaven is a bright and beautiful place. Why is this place dark and empty?" I said under my breath. "Hello!" I shouted as my voice echoed in the room. "Is any one h..." I continued as i was stoped by a very loud voice. "Shut up kid, and sit down!" A very not nice loud voice was heard in the entire room.

"Hello, please what's your name please? Should i sit down." I shouted again just trying to annoy the grand voice coming from nowhere. 

All of a sudden i felt my self sitting down as I was locked to the chair.

"Stop trying to break free child, you are not strong enough yet." The voice said. 

"Not yet?! Even though I love power and super ability, 'not yet' sounds scary." David said with a shrug.

"Kid, you are a chosen one, you are the only one to be able to come to this stage of death, so I wou..."

"Stage of death?! What the f*ck is wrong with this place." David cut into the statement from the other guy.

"Kid, the next time you try something like that I wo..."

"You haven't explained this to me yet." I said with a shrug as I distracted the guy again.

"I guess I would like to shot you up myself, how did you even get chosen anyway?"

"I dont no." I said with a shrug. "Besides, what would happen to my sister, how would she cope without me." I asked the man as i felt my mouth glueing and blending with my face.

"Mmmmmmmmm." I tried to speak but couldn't

'am I deaf now, is this how all dead people become. Maybe that's why mom and dad don't speak to me.' I thought as I made a shrug.

Meanwhile, on the floor where sofia's brother lifeless body lay, sofia's hand was on him. By this time, the gangsters were gone by now and the ambulance siren was also heard from far. Sofia just lay her head on David's chest and was crying, really crying. It was like she was making an ocean through her eyes. 

"You should have gone to school when I told you to." Sofia says as tears unconsciously running down her cheeks. "All of us would have been safe." As she said this word, a single tear came falling trom her eyes unto the gunshot hole. As it fell into the hole, it gave out a bright black colour and vanished, not given a chance for her to see.

The ambulance finally came into view and stoped right in front of Sofia.

Along with the ambulance came the police. Most of the cars passed out while others stoped to take sofia to the orphanage home for real this time. They didn't want another death to occur in thier family and cleaning thier heritage forever.

After describing how the men looked like, the police men with her used thier radio to communicate with the others that left earlier. Later on, the police brought those that killed sofia's brother, David. Sofia took a step forward and slapped the one that was holding her, she managed to take the gun of a police and was about to pull the trigger on that who killed her brother. There was a hand that stretched up to take the gun away.

They arrived at the police station to drop the prisoners.

"Why aren't you taking me to the orphanage home?" I asked then calm but curiously.

"You are going to a better place." They said that as they parked in front of a dojo."You are going to learn karate, then from there, you go to the detective school. You got good motives." They said as they left.

"Those are very good dectectives" The owner of the dojo said. "My name is master Mùchén, whay about you?"

"Uhh... Call me sofie, but it's sofia." Sofia said as she replaced the sad look with a serious one."Now let's get started!" Sofia said with a smirk forming on her lips.

"Thought you would never ask." Master Mùchén said with a strong chinese ascent.
