1 The Escape
The shadows of two human figures crossed quickly.
One of both seemed double headed or to be exact bore another figure.
The light of sunset shone and depicted a raged old man going after a fatally injured youth that gripped firmly to a foursome year old kid.
The old man appeared in faint daoist plain robes and the youth wore a blood coloured daoist robe as well.
The youth panted as he held on tightly to the child he carried on his shoulders and fled from the furiously chasing old man lurking from behind him.
A loud growl suddenly echoed and the old man transmitted his begrudged voice to the surroundings.
"Graaa!"
"Xiao Yunhai you bast**d get down here! Aargh!!!" the old man screamed in anger and the young child cried rhythmically.
"Haha! Old Man Dao Li, you comfy baldie, the little poison you used was too petty, Compared to your Divine Immortal Sect's Dao Physique liquid I took away for little Mingming it's a joke.
The Withering Rose is just too weak and as you see, I'm well and alive. You can't take the kid anyways and as for Wushuang, it's a death sentence hehe!" Xiao Yunhai said jokingly and turned away gritting his teeth with a pale face.
It had not been easy on him all this long.
He had been chased all the way to this distance from the faraway Sheng Yun realm for stealing the Divine Immortal Sect's Dao Physique liquid for his child.
The child had been confirmed to have a complication in his physique.
Thus, he needed a little assistance to complete his physique and save the child from being crippled or possessing a fragile structure.
The Divine Immortal Sect was unwilling to come to terms with him on this matter despite his previously rendered favours to their sect.
For the child's physique to be completed, the both parents required this Dao Physique Liquid.
Xiao Yunhai happened to have an Ancient Yang Body as his physique and his wife Qin Wushuang happened to have an Ancient Yin Body due to coincidence.
Their union produced the little Xiao Ming who was supposed to possess the Ancient Dao Body.
Due to some miscalculation, the young Xiao Ming ended up possessing an incomplete physique structure.
Xiao Yunhai and Qin Wushuang made a plan but somehow Qin Wushuang was fooled into believing the wrong.
It was rumored that Xiao Yunhai had eloped with some secret lover due to some incidental long wait at the sect.
The doubt grew with Xiao Yunhai's lingering absence. The truth remained with Xiao Yunhai still as he was following through the plan.
However his co-partner Feng Xi had betrayed him after their successful theft.
Feng Xi exposed him to the sect and then earned the reputation of capturing a sect infiltrator.
In order to get him without hurdles, a Pseudo God level cultivator was sent against him. That was how his chase with Dao Li began.
The chase had prolonged into an entire month and a Royal Spirit Xiao Yunhai was finding it hard to keep up with the pace of Dao Li.
One of the occasions, he had been deceived through Dao Li's Cross Visual Sight illusion technique.
Dao Li had successfully disguised into Qin Wushuang his 'wife' and got Xiao Yunhai.
He had successfully fed Xiao Yunhai with the Withering Rose poison to have him killed immediately.
However, Xiao Yunhai's vitality was too immense, he was simply too strong.
It would have been much difficult to steer his track if Xiao Ming was not dragging him down.
His pace was now much slower as he had to suppress the nearly raging poison.
Immediately, an explosion rang out in the surrounding environment.
AARGG!
BANG!
BOOM!

Dao Li was truly furious this time around. Xiao Yunhai had dared to call a treasured poison of the sect 'a petty means'.
He had lost rationality as he began using his powerful godly energy to release ranges of attack to bombard Xiao Yunhai to death.
Suddenly, the clouds converged with a dark hue. Dao Li raised his hands high and circulated his godly energy.
An illusory huge halberd spun out from his hands. He made a violent swing using a dangerous god-level rank technique.

There was a loud tumble as there seemed to be a sudden rotation in the surroundings. The entire sky turned dark like the Netherworld and it carried an eerie breeze.
Xiao Yunhai and Dao Li had their positions exchanged in a blink. Xiao Yunhai saw a sinisterly grinning Dao Li in front of him attempting to make an attack.
He immediately made an adjustment using a divine level movement technique.
"Illusory Shadows"

A total of eighteen shadows that seemed confusing and true appeared. They dissipated slowly within three seconds.
Dao Li had been shattering all the after images of Xiao Yunhai out of frustration. After he had done so, he lost trace of Xiao Yunhai in his surroundings.
He immediately flicked his pseudo god sense into the surroundings.
"Bastard! I won't let you off so easily" he scoffed coldly.
Through his pseudo god sense, he had seen Xiao Ming hung on Xiao Yunhai's distorted figure.
Xiao Yunhai gazed below a cliff on a steep edge that seemed like a mountain. Dao Li immediately circulated wisps of godly energy, ready for a chase.
"Wind Fury Charge"
Using a transcendent divine level movement technique, he lunged through the wind and dived into the void in the form of teleportation.
He arrived right in time to witness the scenario of Xiao Yunhai decisively jumping off the cliff.
As he rushed on, all he could see were only a few flying pieces of cloth since the cliff was in fact a bottomless one.
"Grrh! Damn brat! You surely do not care about your cursed life... You committed suicide at the nearest opportunity. It's fine though, that monstrous kid will be going in as well. Hmph! Treacherous!" Dao Li cursed incessantly to vent his anger at the disappeared Xiao Yunhai.
He narrowed his eyes into slits with an inward feeling of malice.
"This old man is quite lucky since this Yunhai brat is better off dead. I'll make his wife Wushuang my dao furnace haha! It's time to reap my rewards" Dao Li cackled with an unusually sinister grin.
He swiftly teleported using the Wind Fury Charge again after resolving to leave Xiao Yunhai 'alive'.
Like a flash of light, he immediately disappeared from the deserted surroundings.
