Hidden Agenda V

Shen Rou concentrated her consciousness and entered an isolated space within her soul, 'Thankfully, in spite of having ripped off part of my soul, my space remained. Nonetheless,' she looked around, 'quite the damaged had been done.' She touched a big crack on what it looked to be a big wall made of smooth pale yellow stone, "Huh?!!" she exclaimed at the sight of her hand.

"This is… my hand!" Surprised, she put together both of her hands and stared at them dazedly, 'They are indeed my hands and it is not just because the light had deemed.' The hands she was seeing, though still slender, they were way smaller than that of the Fourth Prince; they were the vivid image of the hands of her deceased body. However, coupled with her inner self being somewhat translucent, because of the glitter of the white specs on the roof that maintained the place illumined had deemed, she doubted for a moment her eyes.

"So…"

'This means, a soul doesn't take the shape of the possessed body. Or…' she tilted her head, 'it just might need time. Although, this is my consciousness and not my soul…' she opened and closed her hands. Just like a material body had a brain to coordinate its movements and a heart to keep it alive, the soul had the consciousness that played both roles in a more intricate way. In other words, the soul was a malleable shell that contained a consciousness which could move it at will and also nurture it.

"Either way…" she shook her head, "Time will tell that and I… I didn't come here for that." She put her hands on her hips, "Oh!" she raised an eyebrow, 'I really have hips now, they came back…' she pressed her hips for a second before coming back to her senses again and walking forward.

While she walked through the not-so-wide, not-too-narrow but really high yellowish path, her eyebrows began to furrow as the number of cracks increased and became bigger and the light of the white specks on the roof dimmer.

After a few more minutes, she halted her steps. Metres ahead of her, where the central room of her space was, was pitch black, 'The damage is greater than expected but… thinking about it for a second time, it wasn't that unexpected.

'If I'm not wrong, the current strength of my soul is lingering on the boundary of that of an early High God and a tip-top Mid God. I guess, aside from being incomplete, the spirit energy is now too little as to support it, as well.' Not only was a personal space supposed to only be built when one becomes a Lord God, a realm where the heavenly energy transforms into material spirit energy* and merges with the soul spirit energy* of the soul, but now her soul strength wasn't in quantity witch certainty even that of a High God.

Even though Shen Rou hadn't become a Lord God in the past, her soul alone was comparable to the soul of a Lord God and she, through her means, had painfully built her own space with only soul spirit energy**.

"Haa- At least, it didn't collapse and I hope that doesn't happen…" she clicked her fingers and ten little sparkly golden flames appeared. Then, she continued her steps; however, as soon as the central room was displayed before her eyes, she stopped again, "So sorry, I was in a hurry." There were bodies everywhere lying in not-so-favourable positions.

*Both are fundamentally spirit energy but there's a minor difference between them.

**Soul spirit energy is what nurtures the soul. The more soul spirit energy it has, the stronger it is; of course, it also depends on its quality and how someone uses it.
