"Master, the young master has arrived"

"Let him in"

Max mouthed a quick "I'm sorry" to Kai.

Tired of giving small smiles Kai only nodded and proceeded to enter when the door opened.To his surprise, a young lady was standing beside his father. She seemed to be in her early twenties and was dressed in a black tux, a tie, round glasses, and a short pixie cut that fit well with her black wavy hair that complemented her cinnamon-like skin tone and brown eyes.

"I assume the Butler already told you that there are some visitors arranged to see you."

Father looked me up and down as if scanning me with some kind of x-ray vision

"Now that you are well fed I would like to introduce you to your new bodyguard, Miss Cruz."

Kai bit his tongue to avoid mentioning that Max was already his bodyguard since he was always around him and knew all sorts of martial arts but that would only reveal his plans even by a little. Instead, he decided to keep his gaze down and nod his head.

"Yes father"

"Good, I see you haven't been doing anything out place recently. Be a good son and keep quiet yes?"

"Of course father"

"Celeste, step out for a bit yeah?"

Celeste was the first name of his new bodyguard and all she did was nod her head and exit Kai's father's office.

"Come here, Kai"

Hesitantly, Kai took a step forward. On the second step, he began to feel nauseous and light-headed. He knew his father's patience was no longer existent when he was pulled and dragged onto his father's lap.

"Tell me, Kai, what are the main things I hate in this world?"

Kai gulped down the lump in his throat and answered quietly"Repeating yourself father"

"And?"

"Anyone who intervenes in your work father?"

"What is the main thing I despise though?"

After this question Kai noticed his father's hand wrapping around his throat and his face being pulled closer to his fathers

"Those who are weak and don't know their place?"

Soon it dawned on Kai and he felt the blood drain from his entire body. In less than a second, he was down on the floor begging for forgiveness

"I-I'm sorry sir! I must have lost my mind! Please forgive me this once sir! I'll make it up to y-you sir!"

Quiet sobs were escaping Kai's swollen quivering lips and he heard the creak of a chair, the rolling of wheels, and a hand was placed on his chin, lifting his head. Kai's tears flowed endlessly and no matter how much he tried to hold them back they kept spilling from his eyes. A sudden kiss was planted on his lips and soon after a metallic taste spread in his mouth and he was on the floor again. He began coughing but stopped as soon as he heard the sound of a knife being unsheathed. Terrified, he looked up and tried to crawl away, whimpering from his previous injuries left as a gift from Mike.

"S-sir, please"

A quiet pleaded was heard along with the footsteps of his father. A sharp pain started emitting from his right side, he felt the knife twist and pull out. His piercing scream filled the whole office and another sharp pain in his right leg was emitted by the same knife. The screaming and sobbing only grew louder.

"S-son, I'm so sorry."

Kai looked up and quieted his sobs

"Son, this is why I tell you not to use those powers of yours. They are a curse that makes me go crazy and harm you. And when you get lost in them, the same thing will happen to you."

The tears small tears in his father's eyes dried instantly after finishing his apology and again he grabbed Kai's face and bitterly said with the eyes of a maniac with a venomous voice

"Dare you do it again; I will end you. Celeste!"

Celeste entered as soon as her name was called and Mr. Ventura gave his orders

"Take Kai to his room. He needs a little assistance. If that kid Max tries to interfere make sure to collect his sperm so the generation of butlers continue and then kill Max."

Celeste nodded and princess carried Kai to his room leaving an abundant amount of blood trailing behind them. Once they were there Celeste sat Kai in the tub and began to treat him after finding the first aid kit. Shortly after Kai passed out while Celeste cleaned him up with a wet towel. After she was done she placed Kai on his bed and sat down on the edge of the bed. A knock came from outside the door and Celeste opened it. The sight of kid called Max didn't surprise her and in less than a blink of an eye, Max was inside the room being pinned to the floor.

"Really?" Max tiredly whispered in annoyance

Celeste let them go and Max brushed off the invisible dust on his tux.

"Did you really have to do that? And now of all times"

Celeste shrugged and signed "sucks to suck"

Max rolled their eyes and took out a small device from their pocket.

"You're lucky it didn't break"

Celeste's eyes gleamed and she did a small clap to show further excitement.

"Sit down and pull your hair up"

Max placed the little black box on the dresser, opened it cautiously, and took out some tweezers from their pocket. After, they picked up the object that was in the box and placed one of the transparent sticky pieces behind Celeste's right ear. Max held out the box and the tweezers to Celeste

"Here is the other part. You can put it in yourself"

Celeste gladly took it and placed the other translucent piece on the bottom of her tongue.

"How do you feel"

"I feel great!" A small giggle and a quiet chuckle were shared between the two

"So, how does it work?" Celeste's adorable bouncing up and down made Max lose their train of thought. Noticing this Celeste stopped

"Hm?"

Whispering Celeste asked again

"How does it work~?"

"Ah, yeah. So- the- um-"

"The device behind your ear links up with the one under your tongue. The piece behind your ear connects to the Broca's area of the brain which controls speech, facial neuron control, and language processing. Sense nerves that prevent the muscle movement of your tongue are basically dead, the device links up the Broca's area through electromagnetic waves and depending on the signals received, creates small electrical shocks to your tongue constantly in order for you to be able to use your tongue however you like. And don't worry about your tongue burning or falling off or something like that. If you suck on the tablets given to you before you put the device on, the medication will cover your tongue and protect it. You did give her the medication, right Max?"

Max's eyes opened wide and they scrambled to get the medicine out of their other pocket. "I am so sorry! I don't know how I could have forgotten."

As soon as the tablets were in her hand Celeste took the device off her tongue and did as instructed. While she did so Max brought their attention back to Kai. Silence filled the room and Celeste was done taking the medicine. Even after she put the device back on, there was only silence.

"Sir, I think I can speak for everyone when I say it's time to make a move"

Unexpectedly, this comment came from Celeste, who was known for her bubbly and playful personality along with her great acting skills.

"We've already made one"

Kai grunted as he shifted a little in his bed

"You're in, aren't you?"

"We need to move one of the bigger pieces, sir."

"In due time"

"Of course"

Both the butler-to-be and his bodyguard agreed with Kai only in words. But deep inside they both felt the need to destroy and obliterate this place. If only Kai agreed. But maybe he didn't have to.

"Right, um, the kid. Alexander. He is in the same year as you sir. You both share chemistry class during your first period along with your third, fourth, and fifth-period classes. He usually spends his time alone and I believe we should also let you have some alone time. It's almost night after all."

"Go ahead"

Max's knees gave out and they started crying on the floor, soon after Celeste did the same"Why Kai? Why must you go through this! You have the power to stop everything! But you do nothing and let everything slide?"

"Sir, they have a point. Please be considerate of yourself. You can't keep this up for long! Sir, please"

Kai sighed and waited until they quieted down

"Max, make sure you don't get caught on your way out. Celeste, go get some shut-eye"

The two silently got up and left. After a few minutes, Kai gave out and let his tears silently roll down his face

"It's not time yet"
