I need to run! Jules understood that he was no match to Kadenn at the moment and if he didn't get out of this manaless field as fast as possible, he would definitely lose.

However before he could even take a single step back, he suddenly instinctively tilted his head to the side and managed to dodge Kadenn's sword in the last moment.

Huh? He has just now discovered that Kadenn was already right before him and he was still alive only thanks to his honed instincts from the years spent on the battlefield.

He really wanted to kill me! Jules realized that this "new" Kadenn wasn't as harmless as the old one and his attacks were all aimed at his vitals.

He hurriedly jumped back while using a spell from one of his Spell Rings.
