Oswin’s Demonstration

Jin had 2 reasons why he asked the instructor to demonstrate his swordsmanship to them.

The first one is for his sister, Tanya, who had the supernatural power of Technique Replication.

When they were both studying the Burning Sword Style of their father, Tanya was able to easily replicate their father's Aura Technique and Swordsmanship.

Meaning that she could swing the sword and circulate her aura like Leo did.

However, Jin noticed a few flaws in Tanya's supernatural power.

It was the fact that she could only replicate the technique of those she saw and nothing more.

Improving the technique would rely solely on her innate talent.

Therefore, Jin had an idea and that was to allow his sister to see many techniques that she could replicate.

He surmised that once she had a huge amount of techniques in her arsenal, she might be able to synthesize them and create new techniques.

And the second reason was…

As Instructor Oswin prepared to perform his swordsmanship, Jin stopped "holding himself back".

The world's color faded from his eyes as colorful particles of worldly energy appeared in his sight.

The way the instructor breathes, every twitch of his muscles, every single movement he made were all caught by Jin.

His swordsmanship that he had honed his entire life was thoroughly dissected in Jin's eyes.

Its essence, flaws, everything about it was analyzed completely.

The second reason was to analyze the swordsmanship of their instructor.

Jin could perfectly understand and fully comprehend the essence of any techniques that he saw.

Through this, he could also replicate techniques like his sister.

The only difference was that Tanya was able to replicate techniques through the inexplicable power of her supernatural power, Technique Replication.

Jin, on the other hand, was able to manually do everything through his innate talent.

He didn't know if it was a supernatural power, a blessing from a god or an ability given by magic.

As Oswin performed the last slash of his sword, he wiped his and a friendly smile appeared on his face again.

The children were stupefied by this change.

Just earlier, they were seeing a beast waving his sword in a precise but wild manner and the next second, all they were seeing was a friendly bulky man.

"How's it, huh? Did you gain anything?" Instructor Oswin said with a toothy grin.

The children all just stared at him with wide eyes.

"Haha! Anyways, let's get back to training!" Instructor Oswin laughed as he continued guiding the trainees on their stance.

After observing him, Jin was able to perfectly perform the stance.

He looked at his sister who was struggling and whispered, "Use your supernatural power on me."

Tanya was surprised but still obediently nodded without a word.

Their actions were all noticed by Instructor Oswin.

At first, he looked at the white haired boy who had a perfect stance and thought, 'Is he the one Agnes called an anomaly?'

However, what shocked him more was the girl with golden hair and eyes who was also able to achieve perfect stance shortly after.

'I thought that she was only talented in aura, I didn't expect her innate talent to be outstanding as well!'

The news about Tanya's supernatural power was kept secret by the officials. Only her Clear Platinum talent in Aura were exposed.

After observing the siblings for a while, Oswin turned his head to look at Anton as he shook his head slightly.

He was ordered by the castellan to take care of Anton, and therefore, he must do his work.

The children noticed that Anton was receiving more personal guidance from Oswin but they all understood that it was due to his status.

The rest of the day went uneventfully. All they did was practice their stance throughout the day.

"Is he the one who you said had already achieved Mind Force, Clyde?" A bulky old man said to the red haired man beside him.

They were currently looking at the children training their stance from the 3rd floor of one of the buildings near the training grounds.

"Yes, Director Ver." Instructor Clyde answered.

Director Ver squinted his eyes, "I don't notice anything from him, but if what you said is true, then he is certainly outstanding."

"Director, what should I do?"

Faced with Clyde's question, Director Ver replied, "Just teach them like you usually do. Of course, you should teach them about the importance of a strong mind too."

Instructor Clyde nodded as he exited the room.

"Mind Force, huh? Interesting." Director Ver had an intrigued expression on his face as he caressed his long beard.

At exactly 3 in the afternoon…

"The training's over! Put all the training weapons back in the racks. Make sure to reflect on what you have experienced today and get plenty of rest. You're dismissed!"

Instructor Oswin's voice rang loudly around the training ground.

The children all had tired expressions on their faces as they stretched, feeling their sore muscles.

"Argh, I can't even feel my arms anymore…"

"Me too, I can even barely walk anymore."

"I didn't expect to be exhausted by just standing…"

"Right, but this is still better than our Physical Training subject."

The children talked among themselves as they felt glad they could finally move as they spent hours just perfecting their stance.

"Brother, do you want to play with us again!?"

Jin, who felt very tired that he could feel his body trembling, looked at his sister who still looked as energetic as before and sighed.

'Is her stamina endless? How could she not be tired?!' He panted before answering, "Later, sister. I'll just rest for a while."

Tanya smiled energetically and walked towards her friends..

However, to her dismay, Rowena and the others also had dead tired expressions on their faces as they could barely walk.

Of course, they were still in a better state than Jin.

Jin sat down under a tree and felt the cool breeze of wind as he rested.

He looked at his sister who was playing with her tired friends and smiled.

Jin was happy that he got to experience this.

Even though he was born without an energy core and energy circuits, he was still satisfied with his life.
