Bird of Hermes [Familiar of Zero]

"My name is Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière. Pentagon of the five elemental power. Heed my summoning... My servant that existed somewhere in this vast universe, my divine, beautiful, wise, powerful servant, heed my call... I wish from the very bottom of my heart and add to my guidance and appear!" Actions speak louder than words. However, in rare instances, the words of one individual hold enough power to evanescently echo through the infinite chasms of all Creation. The universe is big. It's vast and complicated and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles. "Bird of Hermes is my name... eating my wings... to make me tame."

[Tasty]

When Ordell walked back to his master he was greeted by a lightly pouting Louise tapping her finger impatiently on the table, "What took you so long?"

But Ordell only lightly chuckled at his master's obvious envy of whoever had just taken him away from her, "I was just browsing what they were offering. I brought you some tea and cookberry pie~"

Louise's attitude changed into a positive spectrum as she quite literally BEAMED in happiness at Ordell's last words. She loved cookberry pie, it was her favourite! It was sweet, but not overly so and had just the right texture if done right!

But Ordell wasn't carrying anything...

"W-"

-CLICK-

The soft but audible click of porcelain against wood sounded from the table behind which Louise sat behind. She whipped her head forward and to her surprise, there were already two plates with cookberry pie and two cups of the same tea waiting for her and Ordell, who was still standing by her side mind you.

"W-What? How?!"

She looked at Ordell for an explanation, but he only gave her a wide smirk and sat down across from her before waving his hands in the air.

"Hehehe, magic~"

The pinkette blinked before pouting at Ordell's sheepish explanation. She almost looked like a hamster with her cheeks puffed out like that... cute. The male familiar chuckled at his master, she clearly didn't think that what he did was anything close to magic, just that he had someone place the dishes in front of her while her attention was away.

'Not trusting your familiar words, bad master~'

Louise huffed as she grabbed her fork and started to take bites out of the delicious dessert that her oh-so-humble familiar had brought her. At least she was happy with the taste, judging by the sparkles in her eyes. Ordell was happy with at least that much, so he tried to get a taste of what this cookberry pie was all about. Turns out, it was way too sweet for his tastes. Not as sweet as his master's lips but that's a different kind of treat.

Now he was craving some of that... damn you lewd thoughts!

Taking a sip of the tea though only solidified one thing for Ordell, and that was sugary food and drinks were not his forte. Sure, the tea was great, but it wasn't as good as it could be simply because there was too much sugar in there for him. Louise seemed to like it though, so that was a plus.

"Glad to see you like it. The maid did say that you have a particularly sweet tooth for cookberry pie," Louise let out a HUMPF in response, clearly satisfied with her familiar's performance in getting her a nice dessert.

"Naturally! Cookberry pie is very delicious!" Ordell chuckled at his master's strange fondness for the dessert before looking back to his plate and then back at the girl who had just gobbled up her entire dessert by the time it took him to eat half it.

"Hey, master!"

"Hmm?"

"Say 'Aah'~"

Louise's face went fifty shades of red when she found a piece of Ordell's cookberry pie in front of her, stuck to Ordell's USED fork. The notion of so much as being fed by her familiar embarrassed her, now couple that with the fact that Ordell is most definitely a man romantically and sexually interested in her, and you've got one blushing mess of a loli.

"Come on~"

Louise chewed on her lip lightly before shutting her eyes and reluctantly opening her mouth, she just hoped not many people would see her like this, being fed by her own familiar like a child... although... it did feel oddly romantic... Louise needs to read up on some romance books, she really does.

-NOM-

This time when the taste of the cookberry pie assaulted Louise's tongue, it felt strangely... tastier. They do say that love makes everything taste a hundred times sweeter, but she didn't think it was THIS literal.

"Pretty good ain't it? Can't say I'm a big fan of sugary food though... so, here, you can have mine."

Louise was a little disappointed when Ordell didn't offer to feed her the rest of the cookberry pie but quickly fought the thought away with vigour. They shouldn't be doing things like that in the public! What of her reputation?! ...Oh yeah, her reputation is pretty shit ain't it?

Their peace and serenity lasted until Louise was almost finished with Ordell's portion of the delicious slice of pie when the loud laughter of a crowd attracted their attention. Looking to the side they saw a pretty large group of students, both second and first-years, gathered around something or someone.

"Well, this is interesting. Shall we go take a look, Master?" Louise looked at the crowd for a quick minute before sighing and nodding her head.

"Yes, who knows, it might be something interesting. Although I doubt it..." the two had quickly gotten up and walked the short distance towards the circle of students. Because of Louise's short stature, she couldn't see past them, so Ordell took it upon himself to grab her by her hand and force his way through the crowd.

"Yes, hello! Out of the way please and thank you!"

Students yelped as they were forced out of the way, Louise only looking at Ordell with an impressed twinkle in her eye. She gave him a quick thankful smile as he paved the way for her. Honestly, it was like watching a freight train go through snow. The students pretty much parted without slowing down Ordell's momentum.

A few threw some snarky remarks his way but he largely ignored them. The slightly annoying but still relaxing chirping of a cricket in the middle of the night would have garnered more attention from the male than the annoyed comments of people he did not care about.

The moment they finally arrived at the forefront of the circle of students did Ordell blink in surprise at who he found in the centre. Louise wasn't far behind him, however, she seemed more surprised by the fact that Guiche, a blonde playboy, had a hand imprint—a telltale sign of a slap—on his face. Perhaps most surprising though was the person the blonde was pointing his rose wand at...
