3 [Mine Forevermore]

Louise only stared at her summoned familiar with wide eyes and a mouth slightly agape. H-Had she really summoned THIS as her familiar...? She didn't know how to react, really. The fact that she managed to cast a spell successfully, even if it did explode in the end, was completely lost to her mind.

No, she was far too mesmerised by her familiar's appearance. The man was anything but bad looking, probably the most handsome piece of man-meat she has ever seen. Like the handsome heroes from the books she read, his skin had no imperfection, his face was perfectly sculpted, angular in all the right places, and his eyes, perhaps the most beautiful pair of red jewels she would ever bear witness to.

She... she did. Louise really did it. She summoned a beautiful familiar... Huh... Who would have thought...? Certainly not the girl herself, she was surprised by her own achievement to the point that she forgot what was supposed to follow after the summoning.

"Are you my master?" the man's voice was smooth and deep, carrying weight and electricity with every breath he took.

"M-Miss Valiére! The ritual!"

It took both Mr Colbert and the mysterious summon to break Louise out of her happiness induced stupor, but could you really blame her? She finally did something right! In fact, she did more than right. She summoned something amazing. Someone who appeared to fit all of her criteria! TAKE THAT ZERBST!

"A-Ah! Right! Ahem!"

The summoned man rose an amused eyebrow at Louise's sudden eagerness, she whipped out her wand and pointed it up as she began a familiar chant that all but solidified the man's previous and only question.

"My name is Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière. Pentagon of the five elemental power, bless this individual and make him my familiar!"

She then pointed her wand at the still kneeling man's forehead, yet nothing happened. No, nothing was supposed to happen. The speech was all but a premonition to what was about to come. Despite their original height difference, when the man knelt down he was actually a little bit shorter than Louise, not counting the horns of course.

The man blinked once as his smirk slightly widened when Louise suddenly place her arms around his neck and closed her eyes, puckering her lips as she slowly moved closer. The man didn't protest, not at all. In fact, he welcomed it with a warm heart. However, he did not move from his spot. He understood that this was a sacred moment for his master, and it would not bode well for him to ruin such an important scene, perhaps the most important in her life.

So gleefully accepted his master's first kiss, and fought his own body hard so as to not wrap his hands around her and take her right here, right now. The kiss lasted probably longer than it needed to, but neither of the two really cared.

Only after a few seconds did Louise reluctantly pull back from the tender yet surprising addicting kiss. She was blushing, hard, how could she not be? She just gave her first kiss to her familiar, which wouldn't be a problem if that familiar wasn't a man that looked like a human. Oh well, too bad. Louise actually didn't mind but wanted to act tough on the outside.

"It seems that the Contract Servant proceeded successfully," spoke the magic professor overseeing the whole thing, yet while he might have looked calm and even proud on the outside, his mind was very occupied.

Who was this familiar and what race was he? These two questions repeated endlessly, and he in all his wisdom could not find the answer. After all, he has never heard of people with red horns on top of their heads. Only of demons from the Brimir's era, yet this man did not resemble them in the slightest. Plus, he appeared very happy with his new master, so he couldn't be that bad, right?

Jean Colbert's mind however would be given a fresh answer very, very soon. As the summoned man stood up, something strange occurred to him. His left hand started glowing, and on it appeared some manner of runes, all engraved into his skin, flesh and probably even bone.

However, the horned man didn't really seem bothered by the seething pain in his left hand. He looked at it curiously but didn't make much of it. Colbert, however, was surprised by the runes that appeared on the man's hand, and he immediately had to look into it.

"All right everyone, class is finished. Make sure to socialise with your familiar in the coming week, classes will resume on Monday sharp!"

And so, even the surprised and shocked students dispersed rather quickly at the idea of getting closer with their summoned life-long partners. Although, most spared the man that Louise summoned a second glance. They'd never seen a person be summoned as a familiar, but, judging by the pair of horns on his head, he very well could be some manner of magical creature that transformed into a human. The mystery annoyed them, yet other matters took priority. However, one person was the most curious. That person was both intrigued by the man's ethnicity as well as his body.

'Not bad~ Not bad at all~' it was, of course, Kirche the Fever who took a nice, long look at the man that midget Valiére summoned.

But the handsome man paid the busty red-headed no attention, no, his undivided attention was on his master who appeared very proud of herself as she happily strutted onward before abruptly stopping and turning back to her familiar with a red face.

"H-Hey, familiar?"

"Yes?"

"Do you... have a name?"

The man rose an eyebrow as a bright hue appeared on Louise's cheeks, but burned the image into his mind nevertheless, "Not until you give me one."

"Ah... that so?"

The pinkette seemed to ponder for a good moment, her eyes blinking between the ground and the expectant male in front of her.

"...H-How about... Ordell?"

"Ordell?"

"Y-Yeah! It's from-"

"It's perfect. Ordell... yeah, that will work rather nicely."

Normally, Louise would be annoyed that someone interrupted her. But... this time she could only blush furiously at the man's genuine smile before quickly looking at her feet and strutting away, presumably to her room in a tall stone tower nearby. Naturally, the man, Ordell, followed closely behind, still smirking at his new master as she tried to hide her bright-red face from him.

...

...

...

"Master, you are way too cute."
