"Ah - rented? Isn't that ridiculous?" Willie exclaimed in surprise. He had heard of renting houses, land, and cars before, but he had never heard of renting people.

"Who do you think you are? Just because you want us to kiss, hmph!" Johanna frowned and angrily scolded the people around her.

A big guy who weighed over 200 pounds sincerely said to Johanna: "Johanna, I know you hate it when people bother you all the time. I also know that you dislike me for being fat. "You guys...hmph! Fine, let's just kiss." Johanna was so angry with her pursuers that she turned around and raised her head as if offering herself up for Rosendo to kiss her.

Rosendo slowly leaned in towards her but just as Johanna thought he was going to kiss her, she suddenly heard him say something that would make her hate him forever. He whispered: "I'll only do it if there's an extra $10,000."

If there weren't so many people watching them, Johanna might have hit Rosendo with her purse. Right now she felt like she was stuck on a staircase - wanting to go up but unable because of Rosendo's lack of cooperation; wanting to come down but having no excuse or anyone giving way for her descent either. In anger, she hugged Rosendo by his neck with both hands and quickly kissed him on the lips.

Johanna succeeded in stealing Rosendo's first kiss while giving away hers at the same time. She didn't know how to properly French-kiss yet so their lips were just pressed against each other until they separated. Rosendo didn't move either; he was still thinking about something else. He wondered: "Did she agree to give me an extra $10,000 for this sudden kiss?"

"Waaah...my Johanna is really with someone else now...waaah...I'm so sad, I want to leave this depressing place." The big guy who had asked Johanna and Rosendo to kiss earlier suddenly burst into tears and left.

Willie turned his head towards his daughter and asked: "Cheryl, didn't you say they were fake lovers? Why did they actually kiss?"

Cheryl shrugged her shoulders and replied: "I don't know either. We'll have to wait until the party's over and ask Johanna herself." After answering her father's question, Cheryl continued looking at Rosendo and Johanna kissing with envy in her eyes.
