1 Chapter 1 : Encounter

It was 4th October , day before my birthday , I am very excited and happy for my birthday as it is the only day where I can do what I want to and have a quality time with my family . I finish my work earlier so that I have to work less on my birthday. Fixing everything on my working table , I was about to leave for home . Max asked me , "So early. All work done ?" I nodded with a big smile on my face . He is my bench mate in office and supported me the most when I was new in the office and having hard time with things to learn. he is very generous and caring. He is one of the smartest person in our office , black short hairs and brown eyes . Every girl in the office find reasons to talk to him , I don't know why. To me he is my best friend in office and maybe I have a little crush on him because of the way he treats me . He ask me to wait for him so we can go together but I went earlier as I have to do some grocery shopping . It was dark and almost about to rain. And as usual I don't have an umbrella . I tried to walk fast so that I can be at the bus stop before raining . But the rain drops starts pouring and i started running to the bus stop as fast as I can . Suddenly I bumped into someone and I fall hard . "Can't you see on the road" I exclaimed trying to stand up and looking for my phone . My one and only phone which I got after collecting 2 months salary. "Don't block my way" he stand up and starts walking like nothing happens. His face was totally covered with the a cap and a face mask. "Fuck , why can't you see " I shouted back on him but it was just a waste as he ignored it and disappears in the dark. I got some bruises on my hand . I somehow managed to stand up and start looking up for my phone. Suddenly I hear a phone ringtone which was not mine. When I turn around , I see an iPhone which to my belief was his phone. I picked up his phone. It was a phone with a wallpaper of a very beautiful and gorgeous girl. I tried to follow him so that I can give back his phone . But I couldn't find him . So I keep it with myself and will decide to see how I can give this back to him. I was totally soaking in rain . when I went back home , I opened the door and took a towel and went to the bathroom. I filled the hot water in the tub and just let my whole body relax in it. The hot water was tingling in the bruises I had on my hands but I felt relaxing. I changed into a long plain white shirt with just a underwear beneath it. My curly hair lock were dripping and I gave myself a peek in the mirror. I have very beautiful eyes as most of the people told me. But I never believed. I went to the kitchen and manage to get something for myself to eat. Suddenly the phone rang when I went to my room his phone was ringing thinking that maybe that person can help me with giving this phone back. "Hi , where are you ? Please don't go there . It is very risky for your life " a male with very husky phone was on the other side of the phone. "Sorry but the owner of the phone dropped it on the road. Can you please ask the owner to get it back from me " I told him in a low voice . I can feel the exclamation on his voice . After 1 min of silence he finally spoke up " Who are you ?And where you find this phone. I need the exact location" . From his voice I can feel that something is not right and maybe I can get in trouble because of this phone. "56 , Avenue Road ". I answered without even a question. He disconnects the call which leave me in a shock . I kept the phone aside and start thinking about why he wanted to have the exact location of him. What he was doing there. Why he was in such a hurry . All this question was revolving around my head . I didn't remember when I sleep.

A heavy noise of my alarm woke me up.i hardly opened my eyes to look into the time. Shit ! Shit ! Shit It is 6:45 AM. I am late. I am very late for the office. I just have 20 mins. I rushed in the bathroom. My phone was ringing with a lots of birthday wishes and messages but I was already late. I didn't look to any of them. From my bed side , I put both of the phone in my bag and start running for bus stand. "why today I have to miss my bus" I talked with my self conscious when I lost my bus. I decide to go by a can and book the one as soon as I can.
