The meeting

Under the gleam of the sun,a pair of sparkling shoes appeared from a convoy of Roy Royce. Even the black color of the car was blinding and people were struggling to get a peek of who this distinguish man is. Suddenly the air felt oppressive and breathing became difficult. A god descended heavens. 

"It's Lucas Green" someone screamed 

Gasps and whispers were going on as people made space for this formidable man.

Lucas Green, the almighty Billionaire of LA . He is not just a billionaire but a king that runs an empire. Rumors has it that he also rules the underworld and is capable of making anyone disappear without trace.

"Please spare me Mr Green" a man cried out in pity 

Lucas stared at the man without expression. There was no readable meaning in his God like features.

"Read out his offense" he said in a whisper like voice but it sounded like a roll of thunder.

"Theft of high valued information, bridge of contract, holding, impersonating of high valued officers, manipulation of exclusive document..."

The man could no longer bare to listen and he threw himself on the ground . Kowtowing with blood running down his face.

"Please spare me Mr Green and I will disappear from LA tonight"

Lucas was not moved. His handsome face sparkles with ruthlessness.

"Mr Green, what should we do with him?" His assistant asked.

"Make him disappear" Lucas said casually. His assistant gulped with fear. Disappearing means.. immediately the man was taken away despite his screams for mercy.

Lucas was about to go back into his car when a ferry cat landed on him. The air and everything seems to freeze. Everybody looked with anticipation as they await their fate.

Then out of no where, a girl appeared and snatched the cat from Lucas.

"Rosy, thank God I found you" the girl said almost out of breath. She looked at the man who she had just snatched the cat from. Oblivious of her environment, she tries to help him dust the hairs of the cat from his body. Lucas froze with his eyes flashing a hint of meaning for the first time. It was as if only the girl had the power to move as others seemed rooted in a place.

"Mr, don't worry the furs won't spoil your suit but if you don't agree, I could compensate you." The girl said blinking in the most innocent way.

Lucas snorted and that did the magic of waking up the rest of the audience.

"Mr Green!" His assistant rushed forward scanning him all over with his eyes. He gulped as he feared the outcome of the whole thing. He has had enough of people disappearing for the day. 

"Compensate me?" Lucas chuckled to the bewilderment of everyone.

His assistant looked at him with eyes wide open. The sun must have risen from the wrong part today.

"Grayson" Lucas called his attention back to earth

"Yes Mr Green" his assistant answered 

"Miss ferry cat wants to compensate me so tell her the cost of my suit" Lucas said leaning casually on his car with his hands majestically in his pocket. For once he revealed his actual age of a young billionaire.

' Miss, this suit is a handmade suit by Andrea Wills and there is only one of it in the world. It is equal to say that it is priceless but if we equate it to a price, it will be millions of dollars..."

The girls face turned ugly at every word.

"Are you trying to dump me of money? How can there be a suit worth millions of dollars even if gold were printed on it" 

Grayson's pupils shrunk and he felt like spanking this girl " indeed gold is imprinted on it" he muttered.

"Now you know the worth of my suit, how do you intend to pay me?" Lucas asked the girl leaning close to her face. For the first time, he took in her features and had only one word " moonlight".

"Compensate you?" The girl fired " I can sue you for exhortation" the girl said frowning.

"Grayson" Lucas called.

"Yes Mr Green" Grayson answered wishing he could make this ferry lady disappear.

"She is talking about sueing me. Don't we have a legal term for pets disrupting the peace of the society?"

"You..." The girl screamed as realization dawn her. If this case was pursued, not only will she pay a huge fine but her Rosy will be confiscated. She changed her approach immediately and put on a charming smile.

" No need for court issues, it will be too troublesome. Why not we settle this like good citizens and go our way" the girl said blinking her amber eyes.

Lucas snorted but a mischievous smile placed on his lips. Grayson was at the bridge of fainting because nothing good comes out with Lucas smiling. He silently prayed for heavens to accept the soul of this girl.

"You have to come with me to the Greens and meet my lawyer" Lucas said

The girl froze." But you said we aren't going legal?

"Yes, we are not going legal but someone has to pay the price for interrupting my very busy day" Lucas said with a hint of mischievousness.

The girl stood motionless and stared daggers at the handsome stranger. 

"Geez, Samantha get a grip of yourself. You can't find this stern faced demon handsome" she moved herself.

"Greyson" Lucas called

"Yes , Mr Green"

"Led miss ferry cat to the car and make sure she keeps that ferry thing out of my seats." Lucas said taking long slide to his car.

" Huh, there is no way I am letting go of my Rosy" Samantha exclaimed

Grayson was almost at tears. He blamed his Ill fate today.

"Miss, it either you hand this pet quietly or never get to see it again. Don't make this hard for both of us " Grayson pleaded 

Samantha could only hand over Rosy and walked into the car where Lucas sat. Grayson wanted to say it wasn't the car she was supposed to be in but the door was already shut by Lucas. Grayson could only take big breaths and painfully walked to the passenger sit and the car drove off.

Immediately Samantha sat in the car, Lucas could inhale her flowery scent. For the first time after his mother passed away, he tolerated a woman's presence.

Samantha sat quietly but her inside were unsettled. She peeked at the god like man who seems as if he would eat her if she makes on more move. And the temperature seems to get lower by minute. She rubbed her palms unconsciously. She wondered if nature was against her today. 

"No longer talking" she heard his cold voice almost close to her ears and she jumped in fright.

"Pervert" she screamed and with reflex she hits him on his neither region. The air froze and a blush appeared on her face. With her eyes wide open, she made to hit him again but she caught her hands.

"Dare to hit me again Miss ferry cat" Lucas mocked.

"It's Samantha" Samantha screamed her name.

A hint of complexity flashed in his eyes but they disappear as soon as they appeared..

"It can never be her" he said within himself.

" Huh, I thought as much. The owner behaves just like her pet" Lucas sneered realizing he had said more words today then he has since his mom died.

"Stop comparing me with a cat" Samantha said with resentment.

Lucas let out something that looked like a laugh.

"But why is your face so red" Lucas asked smiling mischievously.

"You..." Samantha flamed up but when she realized he was just teasing her, she calmed down and smiled. "You are reading too much meaning into it"
