Chapter 93: Sued to court
" Well, I know that it is very wrong to eat by this time and I am not saying we are going to be doing it everyday, I will just do it for today or do you not like it? It has been really long since we ate together, would it not be nice if we eat together again today? " Jessica asked.
" I also want us to eat but we will do this just for today.. to be serious I am very hungry right now, so what do you plan on cooking? " Luca asked and Jessica's eyes beamed with joy, she loved when she eats with her brother because as the junior she would always get an extra.
" How do you see spiced noodles? " Jessica asked.
" Wow, that would be so nice, I have not had that dish in months now " Luca replied and Jessica stood up.
" Okay I will prepare spiced noodles but first I will go pull off my office wear then I will be back " Jessica said as she went straight to her room to change her clothes and in some minutes she was back.
" Luca.. this is what you asked for " Jessica said as she stretched out her hand to Luca.
" Wow, thank you so much, I would give this to Tina tomorrow at work " Luca appreciated as he collected the lotion in Jessica's hand.
He just wanted to help Tina, with the look of things one could easily ascertain that she was going through a lot in the hands of Mr Gavriel.
He could not help but try to think about the reason she was still working for him apart from the contract but he knows nothing about it, she knows the best for herself and can take care if herself, so his work now is to just hand over the lotion to her tomorrow at work.
" What are you thinking about? " Jessica asked when she noticed Luca has been absent minded.
" Ohh, I am sorry, I was just thinking about Mr Gavriel's secretary, I just can not help but wonder what is still keeping her in that house, according to my point of view, I think that there is also another reason apart from the contract that is still holding her there with him " Luca explained to Jessica and she nodded after she had heard him out.
" Yeah, I think you have a point but let us not bother about it right now, just make sure that you give the lotion to her tomorrow okay?, I am also stressed here, that deceased lady's family sued the hospital to court, I thought they would not have the courage to do that but our mindsets failed us all because not only did they sue the hospital to the court but they sued the hospital to the best court in U. S and also hired the best lawyer to handle the case.. I just do not want to bother myself or think about that right now " Jessica said as she rubbed her eyebrows.
