Chapter 62: Gavriel's house 4

Raymond gulped down the glass of water and dropped but back on the table.

" But every where is cold, that is exactly why i am putting on a cardigan " Raymond replied and Ivy tried to laugh but held it in because he might feel bad.

Raymond was the type of guy who always behaved like a child, he always expressed himself when ever he was hurt, he did not learn how to endure people's ill treatment but he never fought rather he kept sulking.

" Are you serious? But every where is hot and that is why the air conditioner is on, wait let me check something " Ivy said as she stretched her hand to check on his temperature and immediately her hand touched his forehead she shivered.

" Gosh, you are so hot, what happened?, I think you are having a running a temperature and a fever as well, you need to see the doctor, let me give him a call " Ivy said as she picked up her phone and tried to dail the family doctor contact but Raymond stopped her along the line, he collected her phone.

" No, do not call the doctor " Raymond said.

" What? Why should I not call the doctor, you are not looking good and you definitely need to see a doctor, Raymond " Ivy persuaded.

" Let me have my phone so I can call the doctor " Ivy said as she stretched her hand trying to reach out to her phone but Raymond did not give in.

" No I would not give it back to you " Raymond said.

" Why? Why would you not give me back my phone? And you must give me a tangible reason why I should not call the doctor else.. " Ivy said as he brought down her hand.

" Ivy, I would go and see the doctor tomorrow but ad of tonight it would not work because thete is a serious problem and I warned Gavriel ahead of time but he would not listen to me now he has not only landed himself into trouble but he landed me too and I promise I would not forgive him if it gets out of hand " Raymond said as he stretched out his hand indicating that Ivy should collect her phone and of which she did.

" Raymond I do not understand what you are trying to say, I am a whole lot of confused right now so I would advise that you explain better " Ivy said as she dropped the phone by her side and sat well so she could pay attention to what he wanted to say.

" Gavriel employed a secretary and not only did he employ a secretary, he made her sign a contract that she would be his secretary, house help and submissive " Raymond started explaining.

" What? " Ivy asked as she remembered the incident that happened earlier in the night.

" And before that happened I have been stalking a lady i think I liked, no I like her okay and that day Gavriel returned from his travel, we both went to the bar at New York just to have a drink and luckily I met the lady I had been stalking but she was drunk and I had to protect her " Raymond said as Ivy paid a lot of attention to what he said.
