Chapter 403: I did not get to hear them

She said as she watched his funny facial expression with out him knowing. 

"Annabelle??" He called her name quietly and in a few seconds she answered.

"Come on, talk to me!" She said as she kept on taking files and documents from the shelve as she kept on flipping through the pages over and over again them when it was not what she wanted she would replace and take another.

At this point, he job was really frustrating to her.

"Luca, I am fucking stressed up right now and I need a break..... Sincerely speaking my head hurts so much and I am not thinking straight any more" she said as she dragged a chair that was few feets away from her closer to where she was standing and the she sat on it, resting her head comfortably and staring at the ceiling.

Luca stared at her helpless situation, she was really over working and to an extent it was not good for her health because she might end up slumping or some thing.

He had always loved how hard working she was but then she was putting pressure to it and he only hopes that Gavriel will return and when he does return he willing appreciate all she had done and give her credit for it_ what was he even thinking, Gavriel is the owner of the company and also the Chief Executive Officer, and it was possible that things over there are not flowing well, that is why he had not returned.

Because other than that, Gavriel does not spend up till a week when he goes for business meetings.

"Annabelle.... i feel like this will sound odd buh... I just do not have any idea how you will take it but then I have got to try" he said, trying to avoid an eye contact between them.

From the corner of his eyes he could see Annabelle adjust from the chair she was sitting, she turned her gaze to his direction staring at him in an akward manner, and that look was boring in to him and swallowing all the confidence he had gathered 'does she have an idea what I want to say to her?' he asked him self.

He heard her take a deep breath "come on, you have known me for years now and you are never this nervous, if you have some thing to tell me just let it off your chest, okay??" She said to him.

And then these words gave him back the courage and confidence which he lost.

"Annabelle, please... would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked her.

She was calm at first with out any reaction but in the next three minutes, she turned around and he could see the surprised look on her face "what??" The word had just left her lips.She quickly stood up and walked up to Luca, slightly bending down, she took his hand making him stand "I have waited for long time to hear those words but then when I did not get to hear them.... "
