Chapter 40: Fire Outbreak 2

Alexandra who was still confused about what just happened stared transfixed at the broken glass on the floor and it's contents that spalshed everywhere.

She suddenly had the feeling that Tina was behind what happened and to be sure she did not trick her and Mr Gavriel, she decided to go out to see for herself if truly there was a fire like she claimed. 

She got up from the bed she was sitting and adjusted her dress, walked out of the room and walked through the hallway but she could not see any fire.

' so that girl did this on purpose, but why? ' Alexandra asked herself.

' Does she know about the drink or the contents I put in the drink, I am confused here, like right now because I do not know what is going on here, Mr Gavriel did not drink from the cup and neither is there a slight fire in this house ' she added as she rested her back in the wall as her feet remained numb, she tried to imagine the look on her boss face when she goes to tell her how her mission was, what was she going to tell her, she did not even try to force Mr Gavriel to drink from the cup and she did not have any of the content again because she had poured it all inside the drink earlier and now it is a waste because the cup fell and broke.

She had vividly planed her life out with Mr Gavriel but now it is a waste, she wanted him for herself and not to be shared with anyone, no at all.

' I am so going to deal with that girl for this, for destroying my dreams with just a sentence, she has ruined my life ' Alexandra said to herself as she felt her heart ache and she sat in the floor.

" I should have known that you were lieing to me, but why did I not think of it, I was supposed to remember, Tina if there is a fire outbreak there is supposed to be a fire alarm but that did not happen " Mr Gavriel said as he walked towards her and slowly pushed her shoulder and Tina walked backwards as her heartbeat was so loud in her ears.

" What is you trying to do sir? " Tina asked him anxiously because he had to explain what he was trying to do.

" You want to know what I am trying to do, hmm " Mr Gavriel asked and Tina nodded her head.

" Tina, you call this fire right? " Mr Gavriel asked.

" I am so sorry sir, I could not put it out that was why I came to inform you " Tina lied in order to save herself.

" Really, you could not put out the fire on the burner, who on earth would believe such a thing " Mr Gavriel said as he kept push her backwards as his body came close with hers and she could feel his breath on her skin which tingled her, she had never been this close to a man.
