Chapter 377: talk to me

Luca did not make a move, he just sat still without saying a word to her.

" Luca, come on talk to me " she said as she shrugged her shoulders.

Luca shut his eyes and looked up at her, he took a deep breath before speaking " I said some thing really bad to her and she is upset about it " he stated. 

" Like what? Because Annabelle does not get upset over little thing and words so not hurt her " Zoey asked further.

" Not if those words come from some one she likes " Luca blurted.

Even if Zoey was not hearing what he was saying, she beat her chest that she clearly heard the last thing he said ' Annabelle likes Luca? ' she asked her self.

' I knew it ' she said to her self in confirmation.

" Tell me about it, what really happened? " Zoey asked, after all she had never missed out on any detail, she loved to hear it all.

Luca looked up at her " on a condition " he said.

" That??? "

" On a condition that you would keep it to your self and advice me in what to do " Luca said laying his conditions.

" That's is pretty easy and hard but I will, go on " she said after making it clear that she would keep what so ever he tells her to her self.

" I asked for a leave last night because I was not too sure that I would be for to come to the office today and then Annabelle showed up in my house, I was not aware... she stayed awake and cooled down my temperature which stopped it from resulting in to a fever and then I woke up with her by my side..... " Luca began to tell her but not in details.

' so sweet ' Zoey said clasping her hands together under her jaw.

" To tell you the truth I was surprised and curious so I asked her if she really cared about me or the text I sent her " Luca concluded, dropping his head and staring at the floor.

Zoey's eyes widened in shock " I do not understand, a woman came over to your house late at night, she took care of you through the night_ you were not even aware and then when you had finally awoken... you asked her if she really carredd????? " Zoey asked repeating every thing she was sure that she heard him say just to be clarified.

Luca sighed fondling with his fingers " you are only making it worse saying it out loud " he said.

" Luca you have got to be kidding, this is why she is so upset and pouring out her anger on any one who gets in her ways ..... Jesus " she literally screamed.

" Was the question really upsetting? " He asked her wanting to be sure if it also upset Zoey the same way it made Jessica upset.

" Christ! That was over upsetting_ if she did not care would she ever show up so late at night and stayed awake just to cool you down? "
