Chapter 375: End of me

Coming back to reality, she shrieked " I am sorry, the documents are not ready yet " she said in a calm tone.

She could see how Annabelle glared at her, all her life working in the company, Annabelle had never glared at her the way she was doing that instant and that moment she knew some thing was wrong.

She was not even talking to Luca.... not even staring at him - and that never happens, this was the first time, they always spoke to each other and often teased them selves.

She wondered why they acted so akward ' does this have to do with why Luca was in a rush to as me about her? Did her offend her in any way? ' she asked her self still shocked, trying to compose her self because Annabelle's glare had threw her off guard.

" I am so sorry, I would arrange the documents right now " Zoey apologized as she turned her gaze to Luca who staring at Annabelle.

It seemed like he had noticed Zoey staring at him then her turned his gaze and stared back at her.

Zoey remembered how minutes ago, she had asked him for the analysis because only him knew about it, but then it seemed like he was not even listening to her.

She had literally screamed his name and spoke to him again, then he began to search for some thing in his laptop, she had thought it was the analysis but then after the search which she had waited for almost ten minutes came out as a different document.

" Analysis " she said to Luca " not this " she added as she dropped the document he had handed I er to her on the table, slipping her hands in to her hair.

" I will take care of it now " Luca said as he adjusted him self of his chair and began to operate on his laptop again.

Annabelle who had run out of patience while watching the two receptionists talk, she nodded her head.

Since Gavriel travelled she had been in a lot of pressure, she was not even the assistant to Gavriel..... She wondered where Lucas and Aaron were, she had not set her eyes on them ever since Gavriel travelled, now the whole pressure was down on her and then Luca said those word to her- it did not just hurt her, it broke her down.

" You guys are the end of me.... if those people in that room ever run out of patience while waiting for me, I would make sure that I would not be the only person to loose my job because the both of you will also loose your jobs as well..... this is so fucked up " she said while pointing at the both of them.

" Shit " she cursed underneath her breath as she walked away, the pointed part of her shoe making some clicking sounds as she walked towards the elevator.

Zoey who had just heard what Annabelle had said clearly shuddered in fear.
