Chapter 374: You delayed me

" Tina, I wish you can hear me right now..... I am so sorry for every thing I have done to you, I did not mean it and I know you would find it hard to believe me or trust my words " he said, he felt that saying those words even though she was not there to hear them, it would help relieve him a bit.

" As long as I say these words, I just hope you try to find a place in your heart to understand that I was so selfish and only thought about my selfish desires... I did not think it through before doing those harmful things to you, I just hope you can forgive me for this and come back to me____ I would do any thing you want me to do just leave that man and come back to me, I am going crazy and I do not want to see you with any other man " Gavriel said.

He was also shocked by his words, it looked like they were just coming out in their accord and they came directly from his heart.

He tried to imagine what she was doing ' hopefully I might get a chance to see her again and try to win her back. It might not be an easy deal but I will try my best ' he said to him self.

" Luca, are you alright? " Zoey asked resting her hand in Luca's shoulder.

Holding up the documents her handed to her, staring at it and then at him..

" What is wrong? do I look like I am not alright? " He asked hoping that he was not too obvious, he had drove to the office just like Jessica had told him to.

He searched for Annabelle in her office and any where he could find her but she was no where.

Zoey turned the documents making him stare at it " I did not ask for these .... I asked for analysis.... Annabelle would be waiting for me " she said and immediately Luca stared at her.

" Did you say Annabelle? " He asked curiously.

Zoey could see the sudden change of mood, she wondered why he looked anxious when she mentioned Annabelle's name.

Just then Annabelle walked in, resting her hand on the counter..

" The documents I asked for? Zoey, you delayed me " she complained as she avoided Luca, trying not to even glance at him.

After all, to her he was not there any way, she wondered why he even came to the office because he had told her that he was not coming and then he was there standing in front of her ' he does not even keep his word ' she said to her self, gazing at Zoey.

Zoey who was silently watching the cold shoulder Annabelle was giving to Luca, the awkwardness was too obvious.

" Hey, you delayed me! Where are the documents, I am late for the meeting " Annabelle repeated her self, waving her hands in front of Zoey's who was staring at her.
