Chapter 326: No wrong in trying

Raymond drive speedily to meet up with Nicole, he had promised her that he was going to meet up with her.

" Nicole " Raymond called as he opened the entrance door.

 He walked through the hall way as he looked around in search of Nicole but he could not see her anywhere around there.

For a moment he thought she would probably be in her room.

He quickly ran through the stair case and walked towards her room.

" Nicole.. Nicole " he kept on calling her name as he strode to her room door.

The door suddenly opened and he looked up to see Nicole standing behind the door.

" Raymond.. thank goodness you are here " Nicole said as she took a deep breath.

Finally, she had some one who will get bothered along with her about Tina.

Raymond quickly pulled her towards him self, he grabbed her lips and savoured her tase bud, it was some thing that connected their hearts together.

Nicole held him tight as she allowed him to do what he wanted after all she also wanted it.

" I missed you " Raymond said as he broke the kiss, he cupped her cheeks with his hands and looked in to her eyes.

" I kissed you too, I was waiting for you- what happened? " Nicole asked like a nagging wife making Raymond smile inwardly.

" I am so sorry, I stayed up last night and slept last..... and yes I know what that always results in.. I woke up late, I am sorry " Raymond said as he pulled her in to his arms again for another hug.

" It is alright, most times fate does not allow our plans go in the way we always want it to go so I understand " Nicole said calmly as she patted his back.

" Thank you for understanding me, how are you doing? you were eagerly waiting for me " Raymond appreciated as he asked further.

" I am doing alright but at the other hand I am not, I feel some thing is not right " Nicole said and Raymond disengaged the hug as he held Nicole on her shoulders.

" I have been thinking about it since you informed me about it and it sounds so weird and unusual to me " Raymond said as he looked deep in to her eyes.

" Let us try by calling Gavriel, he must surely have answers to our questions. " Raymond suggested.

" I do not think there is any need for that " Nicole said as she released her self from Raymond's grip.

They had forgotten that they were still standing by the door, at this point Nicole walked in to the room.

" You have been calling him right? " Raymond asked when he noticed the break in her voice, she sounded so hurt.

" Yes, I having been calling him immediately I found out that I could not get to Tina, I am so scared " Nicole said as she sat on the edge of her bed.

" You do not have to get your self worked up because if it, I will talk to Gavriel about it " Raymond said as he walked up to Nicole and sat beside her.

" But I have tried " Nicole insisted, she wondered why Tina could not be reached and Gavriel was not taking his calls as well, some thing was indeed not right.

" I think we should try again " Raymond said and Nicole signed.

" Ray, I am not against you saying that we should try again, there is nothing wrong in trying but I am just so scared about this whole thing " Nicole said as she rubbed her palms together.

" Wait, I was not aware when they left so do you have an idea where they went to and what their reason was for going there? " Raymond asked as he tried to know if he would be able to get a hint when Nicole tells him where they had gone to.

" I also had no idea when they left but I can remember that Tina mentioned to me that they went to South Korea for a business meeting but I do not know exactly what it was all about, so I really can not tell what they went there to do but it is definitely business " Nicole said as she readjusted her self, the whole situation was weighing her down.

" Business?? " Raymond asked no one in particular.

" What is going on right there on your mind? " Nicole asked when she heard him mumbling to him self.

" I am confused, I really do not know but if it was a business meeting then the meeting might be holding tod... " Raymond said but got interrupted.

" No, the meeting was held yesterday, I talk to Tina while they where on their way to the meeting and later in the evening I tried calling her because we promised to talked to each other.... but then I could not reach her and you know what? " Nicole asked as she turned to her side as she stared at Raymond.

" What is it? " Raymond asked.

" Tina would never break a promise she made and her phone is never switched off, I always get through her when ever I wanted but why could I not get through her for almost fifteen hours now, what is going on? What went wrong? What the hell happened? " Nicole asked as she broke down in tears and Raymond made her lean on his shoulders as he caressed her hair.

This was actually one thing he never wanted to happen but it was happening, he never wanted to see Nicole hurt and he promised that he would never make her cry, but right now she was crying because she was so worried about her best friend and a sister who is involved with Gavriel.

Raymond picked up his phone and dailed Gavriel's number, get had asked Nicole so they could give it a try once more before they could decide on what step to take.

He placed his phone close to his ear as he listened and eagerly waited for Gavriel to respond but he never heard that.

" What happened? " Nicole asked when she saw his hand fall to his side with his phone on his hand.

" Still no response " Raymond said in a low voice as he began to get worried.

" Raymond, that is exactly what I was tell Tina, I warned her, I begged her not to go to him but she insisted now I do not know what to do now, Tina has no parents, no relative or sibling, she has no one except me, I would not let her down ..... our lives were peaceful until came up with that stupid offer because Tina made a mistake, such a ruthless man is not supposed to ever be happy because he does not deserve it, I can tell that he is avoiding our calls because he feels that we are aware of what is going on " Nicole said, her body shievered as a result of what was going on.

She could not help her self because the situation concerned Tina, while Tina was with her she she never allowed any bastard insult her or touch a hair in her head without the person going on exile, but right now the situation at hand made her so weak and confused, she did not know what step to take at the moment.

" I promise you Tina, if I ever get to met with that ruthless man again I would make life a living hell for him, I will make him suffer every single thing you suffered, he must pay for all of this and if I get a chance I will kill him, he deserves no mercy " Nicole said out all the words that she had been holding right there inside her heart, she let then all out, she had been holding it in because she wanted to believe what Tina said about him having a chance to become a better person but now she had turned away from that belief.

" Hey, please can you calm down please, I am not telling you because he is my best friend but because I am your boyfriend and I would not want to see you get stressed because of a mistake he made, we will go through this together, remember the promise we made to each other about standing right next to each other when ever there was a problem like this, I have made up my mind that I would never leave you and I will be right here through dark and thin " Raymond said as he assured her.

' with Raymond by my side, I know every thing is going to be okay? Ray I am so sorry that I have to put you through this, you have just regained consciousness and I am stressing you- please forgive me, Tina is very important to me ' Nicole mumbled to her self as she stared at Raymond.

" What did you say? " Raymond asked.

" No, I said absolutely nothing, you might have heard wrong " Nicole said as she cursed her self, she hoped that he did not hear what she said else he would have felt bad and thought he was bothering her, she had promised her self that she would avoid the slightest thing that will ever make them have an issue and she was trying her possible best to keep her word.

" Nicole I think I have an idea " Raymond said as he stood up from the bed and walked towards the window.

" Tell me about it " Nicole said as she stood up from the bed and walked behind Raymond.

" We have tried contacting Gavriel right? " Raymond asked.

" Yes " Tina said as she nodded her head.

" What if we try to contact Tina, then if it is still, we can now decide on what to do- let us just try thing and know if it will work out " Raymond said as Nicole nodded her head.

Footsteps and rustling of leaves were heard, shortly after children voices were heard.

It seemed like they played as they went to their various destination.

" Kim " the little boy called out.

" Tae, I have asked you to stop calling me until we get home why do you not seem to understand what I am saying " Kim scolded her little brother.

" But Kim we are hungry and tired, we should not have followed this path " Li argued with his elder sister.

" Li, you said this was a short cut but why does it seem to be longer than the main road we would have followed? " Kim asked.

" and did I just hear you say you are hungry? " Kim asked again.

" Yes " Tae said as she stared at Kim and then Li.

" But you both used all the money I have with me to buy silly things on our way and they both of you were playing just now so what is with all this drama? " Kim asked.

" Oww!!! " Li screamed as he heard a crack where he had just stepped so he jumped out to check out what he stepped on that heard to crack.

" What happened?? " Kim asked as she quickly walked up to Tae and Li to know what was happening.

Li bent down to check it out as well as Tae, he picked up the object which he had stepped on.

" What is that? " Kim asked again.

" This is just like Kim's own, Li am I right? " Tae asked his brother.

" Yes, it is but it looks a little bit different and I can tell it is a 2019 edition " Li said as he handed over the phone to Kim for her to check it out.

" Why would some one still be making use of a 2019 model, that is so weird " Kim said as she collected the phone from Li and checked it out, it was really an old model, then she handed the phone back to Li.

" We have to leave now, mother would be worried about our where abouts " Kim said to her younger brothers.

" But Kim, what about the phone? what are we going to to do about it? " Li asked his sister as he collected the phone back from her.

" Just throw it back where you had picked it up from " Kim said rudely, as she was already getting upset because they already late because of her brothers recklessness.

" No I can not do that, some one had probably lost this phone and since we found it, it is necessary that we take it in case of any thing, may be it rings or some thing " Li said as he tried to convince his sister.

" Sister Kim, I have an idea " Tae said and Kim gave him a facial expression to go on.

" We should all take the phone over to the police, they know what to do best " Tae said and Kim nodded her head, it seem like she had finally reasoned with him in this. 

" Tae, what you said is right, we should take the phone and return it to high ones in charge , that is the best " Kim said she walked out and get siblings walked them. 

As they walked out, the phone began to vibrate.

" What's happening?:" Tae asked his sister as Li walked up to then.

" Kim, you need to take the call, it might be important " Li said to his sister as she looked up to the gods.

" Hello?!! " Kim said as she picked up the call and placed the phone very close to her ear.

The moment they picked the call Nicole was very happy that Tina had finally responded to her, but hearing the little girl's voice she knew that indeed some thing was wrong.

" Good morning, please can you explain why are you holding this phone, where did you get it? " She did not want to believe that some thing had happened to Tina.

" Ma'am, I am here with me sister along with my brother and they are all witnesses that I picked the phone on the floor, I swear that I had nothing to do with the disappearance of the owner of the the phone " Kim explained her self.

" Are you sure about what are saying to me little children? " Nicole asked the little children again.

She hoped that they would tell her that it was all a lie and that they did not know about what was going on.

" Yes, lady i have nothing to do with it, i and my siblings were passing along that path and I stepped on it, please it has nothing to do with me, I just picked up the cell phone from the floor and just then when my siblings and I decided to hand the phone over to the authorities, shortly after that you called " Tae responded as he snatched the phone from Kim and responded.

At this point Nicole knew that the children were not lieing but on the other hand they were telling her the truth and there was no how little children will surrender Tina.

" Okay, please I need to find the owner of that phone so please can you help me? " Nicole asked to know if there would help her sincerely without having to force them.
