Chapter 307: Too much pressure

Ivy was so fed up with the pressure from her parents about getting married as she stepped on the brake and the car stopped slowly.

She wondered if they both passed through the same pressure from her grand parents before they got married.

The whole situation was tiring and stressful, at that point she could not tell if it was because she had told her mother to give Gavriel some time that was why she faced her.

They noise was so intense, people were over here enjoying the happiness in their life's and here she was suffering from her parents indecisive and forceful nature. She walked in to the club as she swayed her hips in their own accord.

She hoped to have a good time here and decided that drinks would be the best for her, at this point also she decided that any man that comes her way would be a green light and she would go straight for him since all her parents wanted was for her to get married then she would do it for them.

She walked past various sets of people who were drinking, smoking and dancing, soon she got to the counter.

She stood beside a man who sat on a chair and rested his whole weight on the counter, he was looking so tired and quiet but it was absolutely non of her business, she looked around in search of the attendant.

" I will like a glass of seaman " Ivy said to the bar attendant, as he worried about why he was only seeing sad and wary customers that night.

" okay ma, I will go and get your order " the bar attendant said as she walked in to get her order.

She sat and rested her head on the counter as she began to pounder about what was going on in her life.

" Ma'am this is your order " the bar attendant said as he handed the glass in to Ivy's hand and walked away to serve other people.

Ivy carried the on her left had and held her phone with her right hand, she as stood up from the chair and tuned to leave just then she tripped and the glass fell on the floor while the wine splashed on both her and the young man sitting next to her.

She expected the man to be upset at her and shout or rather do some thing that was not cool to her but it was the other way round.

He just looked up at her but she could not see his face and just then he flinched back.

" Ivy!!!! " the man called out as he tried to confirm but the words came out of his mouth.

Immediately Ivy could recognize his voice.

' I know this voice from some where, and I hear this voice almost every day but who is he and why does he know her name? ' Ivy asked herself as she removed the face cap on his head.

" Raymond "

" Ivy " 

They both called each other name's at the same time.

Raymond had been at the bar for quite a long time now, initially he sat down near his car outside probably any one who had seen him must have concluded that he was waiting for some one.

" What are you doing here? are you not supposed to be at the hospital? " Ivy asked as the bar attendant walked up to them and cleaned up the mess on the floor.

" I am so sorry ma'am, I will get you another glass " the bar attendant apologized as he walked out and entered back in to his section as he prepared another glass for her.

" No, why are you surprised that I am here? " Raymond asked as he turned around and faced Ivy.

Just then she dropped his face cap on the table and stared at him, she noticed that he had just gotten a new hair cut and he looked so enchanting.

" Nicole! " Raymond called out and immediately he realized himself and rubbed his hand on his forehead.

" You know I am not Nicole, right? " Ivy asked as she almost got pissed off but held herself together.

" I am sorry about that Ivy, I have just been going through some things lately " Raymond apologized as he sipped wine from his cup and stared at her.

" It is okay, I am fine " Ivy said irrespective of the fact that she had a lot of questions for him.

' I know you are not fine Raymond and I am sure that Nicole must have pissed you off but you would not tell me ' Ivy said to her self as she dragged a chair few meters closer to Raymond and she sat down.

" no, I am not surprised that you are here, I asked because the doctor said you might be unconscious for a week so I was shocked seeing you here having a drink " Ivy explained as she looked around in the club.

" It okay, I am here now, I because conscious very early this morning " Raymond said trying to make it clear to Ivy that he was alright.

" Okay, that is great, so where is Nicole?? " Ivy asked intentionally as she wanted to know the state they were in currently because it was obvious that Raymond was supposed to be with her since he just became conscious and then it dawn on her.
