Chapter 296: Bryan

 " Of course, I remember.... Anniversary is coming up, new employees and list of old workers to be pulled down will be out as well " Zoey explained.

" Perfect, so mind how you talk " Anna warned.

" Nah. nah. nah my name can never be up on that list..... goodness I dedicated my life to this company so I do not think it is possible for Mr Gavriel to pull me down no matter what I say " Zoey objected.

" Hmmm, what ever you say but we shall see about that " Anna said as she looked straight into Zoey's eyes.

" Oh, I over heard you telling Luca that Bryan is back! is it true or did I hear wrongly? " Anna asked.

" Yeah, he just sent me a text few minutes ago saying I should meet him at Chevrolet Silverado Club tonight, I think it is a date " Zoey said happily.

" Wow, I never knew you guys were still together because obviously it has been six months you did not hear from him, he never picked your calls and out of no where he sends you a message saying you should meet up with him in a club and you are happy about it.... I think what is going to happen will be more interesting than this message " Anna said and Luca coughed subconsciously.

" I told her same but I was not as raw as you are now " Luca interrupted.

" Well what ever, but do have a great night with you boyfriend, I hope it goes well " Anna says as she walked out of the reception moving towards the elevator.

" I will be right behind you " Luca said as he rounded up what he was doing and hastily walked towards Anna.

Zoey wondered why Anna and Luca were sounding so obnoxious about the fact that Bryan was back and wanted to take her out later at night.

She had been dating Bryan for almost three years now but early this year, he told her that he would be traveling on a business trip.

After he travelled, he never picked up her calls, he never responded to her messages and emails and he never called her.

Zoey began to worry about what was wrong and what was going on but decided to let it be because she was so sure that Bryan loved her and she loved him too.

So she concluded that may be he lost his phone or contacts and that was the reason he was not picking her calls neither was he calling her.

She was so surprised to see Bryan's message saying that he was expecting her at the club, at this point she began to see reasons why Luca and Anna were talking like that.

It had been six months of no communication abs and all he could do was to just send a message, that is not a thing.

' I was so foolish that I did not reason about all this things and the text message... I would say that I was so happy that I did not notice ' Zoey said to herself as she sighed.
