Chapter 28: Pains

Mr Gavriel drove into his company premises as his packed his car at the garage and walked into the company.

Everywhere seemed so quiet to him today, on other days as he walks into the company he normally sees some if his staffs and employees and they greet him but today everywhere was so unusually calm and he did not meet any of his staffs, so he quickly walked towards the elevator he uses to get to his office floor and he pressed on a button and the elevator door opened as he went inside.

Bing.

The elevator beeped and opened indicating that he had arrived at his floor, a lot of things were on his mind.

He needed to go to the brothel to ease of the stress on his mind.

As he walked out of the elevator he rubbed his hands all over his face and signed, he wondered where his secretary was as he looked at his watch and saw that it was already nine in the morning.

" Shit, Dad told me about this lateness earlier " Mr Gavriel said out loud to himself.

' why am I even bothered at what he said ' Mr Gavriel asked himself again.

He does not even understand the terms why he was upset with his father, all he knew was that his father never wanted him to learn in a hard way, his father wanted him to take over after his reign but Gavriel did not want that for himself so he rejected his father's offer and told his father what he wanted which was to set up his career, his company and his life as a whole by him self, he want to work hard to achieve his dreams, he wanted to sweat for all he wanted and see the fruits of his labour but NO, his father objected to his opinion.

During that period of time, there was lots of troubles, problems or one thing or the other because his father was not in support of his dreams.

But his mother, Mrs Camille Seamus was always in support of his dreams and stayed by his side alongside his sister, Ivy, they were his only pillar.

After two years of that incident, he was already fourteen then he ran away from home in order to pursue his dreams where he came in contact with Mr Chen Park, an Asia Billionaire business man who also had a successful company in Asia and United States, Mr Chen Park picked him up and thought him the basis and everything he needed to know about starting up a company and because Mr Gavriel was a fast learner who later became his Manager in the Asia company and was known for his power to rule.

When he came nineteen years of age, Mr Park helped him in building his company which is currently Seamus Group of Companies, and Mr Gavriel was so appreciative because it came out successful.

Since his father did not support his idea, Gavriel was so happy that Mr Park did and he took him like the father he had always wanted and Mr Park on the other hand took him like a son.

Mr Gavriel was still in his deep thoughts when his phone rang, then he looked at the screen of the phone to know the caller as he signed and swiped the green icon as he placed the phone beside his ear and entered his office.

" Hey bro, what's up " Raymond said from the other side of the phone.

" I am good, but nothing is really going on, just me and my secretary in the big house, every where is so quiet and boring, so I was thinking.. " Mr Gavriel explained as Raymond interrupted him.

" Woah, I think this is happening everywhere, because here is so boring as hell, I think we should go to our favorite spot, you do your thing and I do my thing, right? " Raymond asked with sincerity 

" Yeah, I was about to say that before you interrupted me, so I will be at your house around six in the evening " Mr Gavriel said as she sat on his chair in his office.

" okay, that is perfect " Raymond finally said as he hanged up immediately.

This was exactly what Mr Gavriel wanted, he needed to have some fun with his women, his girlfriends, he remembered how he smacked theirs asses. Obviously they were his fuck buddies, his sex toys and he did not have enough time to spend keeping a genuine girl friend because he did not want love all he wanted was fun, nothing less nothing more, no strings attached.

He saw women as ridiculous beings, they lacked self esteem and most of all they always took advantage of any single moment or opportunity they were given.

He did not even want them as mistresses because they were always going to be under him, no matter what he was always going to be their dominant.

Mr Gavriel was still captivated in his deep thoughts and just then he heard a knock on the door, interrupting him from his train of thoughts.

" Yeah, come in " Mr Gavriel said as the door creaked open and Christina walked in with a glass of tea in her left hand as she used her right hand to handle the door.

" Good morning Mr Gavriel " Christina greeted immediately she closed the door behind her.

" There is nothing good about this morning so go straight to the point as you can see I am busy right now " Mr Gavriel replied fiercely to her greeting.

" I am sorry sir, I brought your tea " Christina apologized as she dropped the tea on his table.

" Why did you leave for work this morning when you were supposed to drive me to work? " Mr Gavriel threw the question at her completely ignoring the fact that the dropped the glass of tea on his table.

" I am so sorry sir, I was not aware that it was part of my job, I am sincerely sorry " Christina apologized as she wondered and tried to remember if she saw that part that stated that she would be responsible for driving him to work but she could not possibly remember and with that she decided to go through the contract immediately she got home.

" Well, I forgive you and now you know that anything that concerns me also concerns you " Mr Gavriel said.

" Now tell me what my schedule for today is and get out from here " Mr Gavriel added as he took the glass of hot tea and put in his mouth to drink then he suddenly poured the hot tea on poor Christina from her barely open chest to her feet and she gasped.

" Oouucchh " Christina shouted as she clapsed her hand on her chest immediately, it really hurted her so much. 

' what did I do to deserve this ill treatment ' Christina asked herself as tears flowed freely from her eyes and she let them be because the pain was to much and her skin was already burnt which would leave a scar on her forever.

" How dare you put sugar in my tea, were you not told that I do not use sugar to take my tea. " Mr Gavriel asked to cover up himself because they was no reason for him to pour his secretary that amount of hot tea and when he heard her scream he felt guilty for doing it.

" Get out of here " he added.

" I am sorry sir, I will make you another one" Christina apologized as she tried to remember if she put sugar in the tea but no, there was nothing like that, she did not do that as she picked up the empty glass cup and made her way to the door.

Mr Gavriel got so surprised at her reaction, he expected her to rain abuses on him but no she did otherwise, he expected her to claim her right that there was no sugar in the tea but she did not and when he saw the glittering tears in her eyes, then it really dawned to him that he had really hurt her.

" What the hell is wrong with me " Mr Gavriel roared at himself.

When Christina got outside, she cried her eyes out as she asked herself what she has done to get this as a reward.

She quickly walked to the tea counter and made another fresh black tea without sugar, she wondered why Mr Gavriel hated her so much and if he hated her because of what happened at the bar or there was something else then she cleaned up the tears on her face and the tea on her chest, her body had already formed some reactions due to the hotness if the tea.

She quickly carried the tea to Mr Gavriel's office as she knocked on the door and went in.

" Mr Gavriel, I have made you a fresh tea without sugar, I hope you enjoy it " Christina said as the dropped the glass cup on his table.

" I will go to my office now so I can get you your schedule for today and once again I am so sorry for the sugar and inconveniences I have caused you this morning " Tina added calmly as she walked out of the office.

Tina entered her office and took a notepad from her table where she had drafted Mr Gavriel's schedule for today and walked out of her office to Mr Gavriel's office.

She knocked as usual before she entered into his office.

" If that is the schedule, then read it out and leave " Mr Gavriel ordered and Tina did not disobey rather she went straight to the point.

" You have a meeting with Mr Jisaan Park by eleven thirty this morning and that would be all for today... You are also to be informed about an emergency board meeting tomorrow morning, I will be on my way now " Tina said quickly as she turned and immediately made her way for the exit.

" Okay, so that is your way of explaining my schedule, whatever... I hope you have already made reservations? " Mr Gavriel asked as he watched her turn to face him waiting to hear a response.

" I am sorry if I made a mistake in explaining your schedule, I will put more effort in learning it and actually I have not made reservations yet, I will do that immediately I get to my office, so if you do not mind I will take my leave, if you need anything I am one call away " Tina said as she immediately took her leave, the burn on her chest was hurting so back.

She entered into her office and closed the door behind her as she kept the note pad and went straight to her hand bag as she searched for something vigorously.

' oh, thank goodness you are here ' she said happily as she brought out an ointment from her bag and kept it on her table.

Then she picked her phone as she clicked on the contact icon and stared at it.

She had to make reservations for the meeting with Mr Jisaan Park but she had no idea which place they had always been making reservations.

' I did not expect this, I just started an it seems like I have been here for ages, must I really have to suffer in every aspect of my life? Why does he hate me so much? I made a mistake at the bar and it does not make me an irresponsible person because everyone makes mistakes but why does he hate me and hurt me so much, I promised myself to endure this but I do not possibly think I can and I can not leave because I need money, I can not be useless at this point in my life, I have nothing, no money, nothing I can show off, just my college certificate, I am just as useless as someone who did not go to college... ' Tina said to herself as she cried so hard.

She just had to let the tears fall so it would ease her pain at that moment.
