Chapter 234: one million dollars

 " I want you to take me out of here... I want to go home " 

Raymond said and Nicole looked up at him immediately, how could he know what she had always wanted but there was an issue.

" You want us to leave...when? " Nicole asked because the request was some what confusing, why did he not say the exact the he wanted us to leave, may be in the morning, afternoon or evening.

" I want us to leave now " Raymond said as he patted he cheek.

" Ray are you serious, you want us to leave now.....how? It is still late " Nicole argued.

How in heaven's name did Raymond expect her to drive this late and she had not settled the bills yet.

" If you are not driving, I can drive but just ensure you follow me home " Raymond said and Nicole nodded her head in disapproval.

" No, I would not allow you to drive..I rather drive but i have not settled the bills yet " Nicole said.

" So not worry about that...are you aware where my phone is? " Raymond asked Nicole and she nodded.

" Yes it is inside my bag, let me get it for you " Nicole said as she got off from the bed and headed to where she had packed her clothes along with some clothes she got for Raymond.

Then she brought out the phone and handed it over to Raymond.

" I would clear out the bills now so we can leave... would that be okay for you? " Raymond asked.

" Yes it will, but how is that going to be possible, we need to get the payment slip from the doctor or are you aware how much we are supposed to pay? " Nicole asked, her head was spinning round and round in her head.

" Do not worry, I have settled it...so we can leave now " Raymond said as he turned the phone screen to Nicole's direction so she could see that the bills has really been cleared.

" You paid one million dollars to the hospital...I am not going to ask why so please explain to me how that is possible because you never knew how much the bills cost and you paid one million dollars for your treatment or did you decide to also pay for other patient's as well? " Nicole asked as she was deeply in a confused state.

" Hey...Baby girl, come here " Raymond called out to her, well this was the first te he was ever calling her baby girl.

Nicole walked up to the bed where he was lying on and sat at the edge of it.

" I know the doctor in charge of this hospital, he is my doctor but I do not come here for my treatments because he normally comes over to my house but I am surprised he did not ask you to take me home, the truth is that I hate visiting the hospital " Raymond said and Nicole nodded as she waited to hear the main reason he paid one million dollars in to the hospital's account.
