Chapter 217: I am sorry

 " How? "

Mr Gavriel turned around and stared at me immediately that word left my mouth, he must have been surprised at my question.

" I do not know either...all I knew was that she suddenly started throwing up and before i could get her to the hospital.. I lost her, I lost her out of my carelessness, out of my inability to take care of my daughter and out of not taking my responsibilities into action..this would have not happened in the beginning of I had notice the symptoms of the sickness, if only I had taken her for a check up earlier, this would not have happened but my carelessness got in the way, I was always down with work...it was all my fault..my ..fa " Mr Gavriel kept lamenting as I used my index finger to stop him from talking and I wrapped my other hand around his neck and took his lips into mine, I could see him close his eyes and then after he kissed me but then I came back to my right senses and I pushed him away.

" I am sorry about that...I did not know how it happened I serious and I am sorry about it " I apologized to him  with my head facing my laps, I did not have the courage to look at his face any more..I was ashamed of my self for doing that.

How could I have given my first kiss to my boss? I could not believe I did such a thing as I asked my self who actually gave me the idea to kiss him, but them the most dreadful thing was the fact that I finally summoned the courage and looked up at him but he was mute as he stared at me and he rubbed his lips with his hand.

' why is he not saying any thing? ' I asked my self when I had stared at him for some seconds to know if he would say a thing but he did not.

" Eehmm Sir, I think I should drive you home...  You need to rest because we have to be at the airport early for the trip tomorrow " I said shyly as I made sure to avoid any thing that will make me look at him, I quickly stepped out of the car and walked towards the driver's side as I opened the door and Mr Gavriel stepped out of the car and I became nervous because he had not said a word since then.

He quietly stepped out of the car then he stood and looked at me for some minutes then he opened the passengers side door and entered in to the car.

I also entered into the car and started the ignition as I quietly drove off.

" Sir..I will come back after I have dropped you at home to get your car which I had drove here " I said as I concentrated on the road as I drove.
