Chapter 210: Necessary

Mr Gavriel stared blankly as his wife drove out of the premises, all he could do was sigh and retire to bed.

Tomorrow is going to be a big day because Karina was going to be operated on, he hoped and prayed for it to be successful and he wished to start a new life afresh, this was not what he signed up for.

The sun reflected it's rays directly on Mr Gavriel's face as he slept peacefully, he kept on turning around the bed and then he sprang up.

Immediately how s phone beeped and he looked at the direction of where the phone was to see the caller...then he stared widely when he saw Doctor Hassami calling...

" Oh my God, how could I have forgotten so fast...today is Karina's operation " Mr Gavriel said out loud to himself as he picked up his phone from the bed and swiped up the green icon as he put the phone closer to his ear.

" Good morning Mr Gavriel " Doctor Hassami greeted after he cleared his voice.

" Good morning doctor, how is things going? " Mr Gavriel asked.

" It is going well, the operation would begin in the next few hours " doctor Hassami said and immediately Mr Gavriel placed his hand on his abs as he rubbed it slowly.

" Yeah, I know about that " Mr Gavriel replied.

" That is good...we will be expecting you here along with your wife, Bianca " doctor Hassami requested and a frown suddenly appeared on Mr Gavriel's face, hearing her name made him feel uneasy.

" Doctor...I ..wo..ul..d like to ask you a ques..tio.n? " Mr Gavriel said as he stammered uncontrollably.

" Yes, go on " doctor Hassami replied, he already knew that he made a wrong decision asking for the presence of the two parents but the fact that Mr Gavriel did not flare up about it meant something was up.

" Hassami is it really necessary for my wife to be there because I feely presence alone is okay at the hospital...do you not think so? " Mr Gavriel asked as he looked worried.

" No..in a situation like this, it is advisable that the parents of the child both father and mother are required to be present at the hospital because it aids in rapid recovery and that is because at her age the brain will only recognize the ones she call mum and dad at the moment...and if she does not see them I am sorry to say but I do not know the consequences because it is very very rare to find a child suffering from a brain tumor..so there are no much study cases, so I advise that you get your wife from where ever she is because since today is concerned..you and your wife are needed at the hospital " doctor Hassami explained sceptically.

It was at that moment Mr Gavriel knew that the offer he gave his wife last night did not worth it, he would have let her stayed, rather he would forcefully take her to the hospital.
