Chapter 18: Coincidence
" So, Gavriel this one you came over to my house in such a hurry, I know it is exactly not because I ditched you at the bar, something else happened right? " Raymond asked and of course Gavriel has never been to his home by this time, it only happened when something was bothering him, when he did something or when someone did something to him. So he wondered what the issue was this time.
" Well I guess something is bothering me then I did something unthinkable and someone did something to me " he responded as if he read Raymond's mind.
" Bro, you just read my mind right? " Raymond asked.
" Hell no, I would never do that and I can not possible do that, wait! are you trying to explain that I am a seer?, I just told you a glimpse of what the problem was and that definitely means I answered your question " Graviel explained as he defended himself.
" Hmm, well I do not think I meant it that way, but anyway what is the problem, since you already told me a glimpse of what the problem was, I know you would not mind telling me what happened " Raymond said as he got up and went to the drink counter in his house to get drinks for himself and Gavriel.
" Would you mind taking a drink as you tell me what you did and the rest of it? " Raymond asked.
" Well I would not mind at all, as far as you do not get me drunk " Graviel replied as Raymond laughed at his best friend mind set.
" I would not do that " Raymond said and signed at the same time.
" Okay, if you say so " Gavriel replied as he got up from where he was sitting and moved out of the sitting room to where Raymond was.
" This is for you " Raymond said as he stretched forth his hand to Gavriel and gave him his drink.
" Thank you" Gavriel said as he took the drink from Raymond and took a sip.
" So.. can you explain to me why a billionaire like you is so stressed out because I know that nothing is too big for you to take care of " Raymond teased at his best friend.
" Okay, literally speaking, I already solved it but I do not know if I did the right thing" Graviel said as he sipped a little of his wine.
" Come on, is this some sort of joke like you met a lady you have been stalking for a while drunk and I also met a drunk lady, like I did not meet her, the thing is that she bumped into me and threw up on me, the both incidents seems connected but forget about it and assume it was a coincidence " Gavriel explained.
" Okay " Raymond said as he kept sipping his wine.
" Today, the lady who bumped into me and threw up on me was the same lady who came for an interview to be my secretary..." Graviel could not finish his statement because Raymond interrupted him.
" What! You mean the same person who was the bar last night was the same person who came for the interview at your company, Whoa! this is fate, like I mean the first incident came as a coincidence but the second came as fate " Raymond practically explained as Gavriel smacked his head so hard.
" Ouch, that hurts " Raymond shouted as he cried like a child.
" Excuse me, what do you mean by fate, that is never fate after all I have enough and lots of women all over me, so right now I do not need any fate " Gavriel argued as Raymond massaged his his head where Gavriel hit him.
" So what happened when she found out that you are the owner of the company she wanted to work as a secretary? " Raymond asked because he needed to know and most importantly he love gists like this.
He knew what Gavriel was capable of, he would never let that lady go free like that, he would punish her over and over again and she would feel what hell on earth was like.
Gavriel can only be found calm when the he is with his mother, his sister, Ivy and himself, Raymond but when he gets outside or even with his father, he is seen as a Scorpion.
" Of course, she was shocked and to tell you, I really enjoyed seeing her legs wobble in fear because I told her last night that she would pay dearly for what she did to me, if it were to be another person who met me again after an incident like that, I am certain that the person would flee a thousand miles and try not to get in contact with me, but the lady was just so scared, do you know why? " Gavriel explained as he threw the question at Raymond.
" No, why would I know? " Raymond said to himself but obviously Gavriel heard it.
" Yeah, why would you know? Of course you would because you have been spending away your time stalking a woman " Gavriel teased.
" What ever you say would not do me a harm or release a tear out of my precious eyes " Raymond teased back at him.
" Well, the lady could not bring herself to leave because she had no other option and she needed the job so badly, so she was just scared, I even wanted to laugh when I saw her hands trembling in fear but been the owner of Seamus Group of Companies, I had to keep my bossy look so that I would not look stupid in front of my soon to be secretary at that moment, before that happened I knew she was the one coming to my office for the final interview because Annabelle sent me her details and I had to immediately prepared a contract for her to sign " Gavriel explained.
" What! You prepared a contract for her to sign like what type of contract? " Raymond asked because he knew that Gavriel will make life difficult for that young lady.
' Goodness, she is definitely going to feel what the wrath of a devil is like ' Raymond thought to himself.
" Well about the contract, that is definitely not a problem because she signed the contract and right now she is my secretary, my house help and my submissive while I am her boss both in the office and in the house, yeah, I am also her dominant " Gavriel explained as he gave a wide smile as if he won a lottery.
" You made her your submissive? What about the other lots of women all over you, are you not satisfied with them, why did you have to do that? "
" Gavriel, you are trying to tell me that you did that to a lady just because she was wasted and threw up on you which I am certain was a mistake, like maybe she was rushing out to throw up and then she bumped into you, then she had no other option because it was already out on you, that is definitely not fair, even if she signed the contract that does not mean her feelings were not hurt like you said she signed that contract because she had no other option, well that you business because I am not it support of that attitude you displayed " Raymond said straight to the point because truly he was not in support of that.
" Well, what has been done has been done, in her next life she would never go to a bar, not to talk of getting drunk or been wasted or even think of throwing up because when she remembers the wrath she passed through in my hands she would sit at home and do what ever she wants to do " Graviel boasted.
" Well if you say so, but count me out of it and do not bother asking me for advice since you advised yourself to create that contract, you should also be able to advice yourself on any issue concerning her " Raymond said bluntly because he did not want to sow a bad thing and of course if he did that he would surely reap bad and he did not want that for himself. NEVER.
" Okay, if you do not want me to advice myself then I would do that myself but one day I will still ask you for advice, remember that " Gavriel said as he smiled widely at Raymond.
" Can we just change this topic, it is boring already " Gavriel added.
" Hmm, if you say so " Raymond said as they discussed about other things as they continued drinking their wine.

I stopped a cab immediately I got out of Mr Aaron's office, Nicole must be so furious right now after ending the call like that on her.
The worst is that I am not even there with her, gosh, I am so doomed, I am done for.
" Good day ma'am, where do you want to go? " the cab driver asked me.
" St Louis Road " I replied immediately he asked me the question and entered the cab immediately and the cab driver sped off.
In not less than fifteen minutes, we arrived at my residence and I came out of the cab and the the driver and he zoomed off.
I turned and saw Nicole's car packed at the garage and immediately I ran into her apartment.
" Hey Tina, I have been waiting for you for an hour now, are you okay? " Nicole asked and with that Tina mind calmed down at that moment seeing that Nicole was not angry at her.
" Nicole " I called her as I placed my hands on her hands.
" Yes, Tina are you okay? You look so unusual today " Nicole asked again.
" Nicole, I am so sorry for not being here on time, I was caught up in something, I am sorry for hanging up on you earlier " Tina apologized to her best friend and sister.
" I am definitely not angry at you Tina, you know that can never happen in this life.
Are you sure you are fine, it seems like you have been crying " Nicole asked as she takes Tina to sit on the couch as she also sits along with her by her side.
" Nicole, I am not fine, alot has happened starting from yesterday night at the bar " Tina said as tears ran down her eyes.
" Do you mean when I left you? " Nicole asked.
" Yes, I tried to follow you when you left but the drink already started having it's effect on me, then suddenly I saw a text message saying I should come for an interview today, as if that was not enough I instantly fell like throwing up and I ran out and bumped into a man and threw up on him, I apologized and do you know what the man told me? " I asked Nicole as I continued crying.
" No, what did he say? " Nicole asked.
" He told me that I would pay dearly for what I did to him " I replied and of course I was so hurt that the tears kept on gushing out as it finally destroyed my make up.
" Wow, that man is a bastard " Nicole said non chalantly.
" But how does that have a connection with why you are crying like this, I mean you would not be able to meet the man again since you only meet him once at the bar " Nicole said in calm tone as she patted my back while I was having hiccups, then she rushed to get me water.
" Tina, take this and drink, it would stop the hiccups " she said as I collected the glass of water and gulped it down immediately as the hiccups stops and I kept the cup on the center table.
" Tina, stop crying okay, you would not be able to see the man again okay " Nicole repeated.
" No I will, Nicole I am going to keep on seeing this man and I think that is going to happen for the rest of my life " I said to Nicole.
" What! What do you mean by you will keep on seeing him for the rest of your life " Nicole exclaimed at my response.
Nicole really needed an explanation for this statement Tina made.
Why would Tina make such a statement, something was really not right here.
" Tina, talk to me, why would you keep on seeing the man that said that to you for the rest of your life? " Nicole asked.
" Nicole, I will keep on seeing that Devil for the rest of my life because he is my boss " Tina said as the statement shocked both Nicole and herself, then there was a moment of silence between the both of them as Tina continued crying.
