Chapter 167: Take off

The driver opened the car and stepped out as he turned around to the other side leading Mr Gavriel as he opened the car door for him to hop in.

The Gavriel walked towards him and entered the car as the driver closed door as he entered the car and drove off to the airport.

Through out their drive to the airport, Mr Gavriel's mind was not at peace, he was just restless even though he did not know the reason Karina was rushed to the hospital, he just felt that all was not well and his wife did not care at all about the welfare of their daughter. 

Bianca, was a woman who he thought was of virtue got pregnant for him before marriage and then he married her, she bored Karina, their daughter.

Since then she cared less about either him or their daughter and it made him to have this special bond with his daughter, she always went clubbing, she was always partying and she never bothered to know about her husband, neither did she bother to care about her daughter.

She was always seen as a beautiful and caring woman and every man had always wanted a woman like her in outer appearance, they believed that any woman who's outer appearance was best always had a wonderful soul but no, the moment Mr Gavriel married Bianca, she became the devil who was in an angel's clothing.

She was never at home and the only time she would be seen at home was when she came from either the club, party or where ever she went to drunk. Mr Gavriel regretted marrying her even when his love for her was still intact, he still cared for her and he still hoped that some day she would change to be a better person.

Seconds later, the car came to a stop and Mr Gavriel looked through the window just to see that they have arrived at the airport then he sighed.

" Sir we are here now " the driver said as he turned around to look at Mr Gavriel who just looked tired and stressed out.

The driver stepped out of the car and the cool air blew on him as she shivered, then he sighted Phillip having a conversation with the pilot and when they were done, they shaked hands before he retreated and started walking towards them.

The driver pulled the car handle and the door opened as Mr Gavriel stepped out of the car.

" Mr Gavriel, the plane is ready, we are good to go " Phillip said as he finally approached them and Mr Gavriel nodded as he walked towards the plane.

Phillip talked to the driver and they shaked hands then they went their different ways, Phillip walked towards the plane and the driver hopped back into his car and zoomed off.

As soon as Phillip entered the plane, he sat down opposite Mr Gavriel then he put on his seat belt, the doors closed and shortly after the plane took off.
