Chapter 103: it's late

" Are you serious? " Tina asked when she saw that Nicole has calmed down already.

" Yeah, I am totally sure, I meant every word I said " Nicole replied.

" Then go for it baby " Tina exclaimed.

" Sure, I will go for it, no one would take him away from him even though it means that I will confess my feelings to him first, then I will do that " Nicole said.

" I trust you on that, so what are you going to do now? " Tina asked because if Nicole know that she wants to do as she have said then she has to start planning now on what to do.

" I am going to take a one week leave from work, then I will stay with Raymond all through that week until he recovers, I think that is a good idea right? " Nicole asked, currently that was the stepping stone to what she wanted.

" Yeah, that is a good idea, I think you should call Mr Gilbert and explain to him over the phone, he would understand the situation you are in now, but do not tell him your lover, you can say your cousin or you tell him that I was involved in a homely accident and needed to be catered for, at least he knows me " Tina suggested and Nicole nodded her head in affirmation, Tina was the best thing that happened to her that night, words can not describe how grateful she is to Tina, she wished that she could take Tina out of Mr Gavriel's house, so she would have peace of mind.

" Sure, I would do that just now " Nicole said as she stretched her hand to the table.

Suddenly, Nicole remembered her last incident with Mr Gilbert and she felt irritated with the fact that she was going to call him to ask for a leave instead of submitting a letter, then she looked at Tina with a frown on her face.

" Do you think I should call him after what happened days ago? " Nicole asked.

" Yes, you have to because Raymond is more important to you that that incident " Tina replied and then Nicole picked up her phone as she dailed Mr Gilbert contact and put the phone closer to her ears.

After three rings, Mr Gilbert answered the call, Nicole had totally forgotten that it was still past midnight, the time was currently 3:35am in the morning, who the hell calls her boss by that time just to take a leave from work.

" Hello, Nicole ' Mr Gilbert said in a cracked voice indicating that he just woke up from slumber.

' Geez, how could I have forgotten that it is still late, I just pray that he grants my request, I should have waited till it was morning before calling him, gosh I was in a hurry ' Nicole said to herself and Tina stared at her with confusion written all over her face.

" Good day sir, I am so sorry for calling you at this hour " Nicole greeted and apologized at the same time as her heart was beating so loud in her ears.

" Okay, it is really bad do call anyone, not just your boss by this hour execet there is an emergency, so what is the problem " Mr Gilbert asked as he yawned.
