"Esmeralda?" Ethan said, looking at her hack

 He was standing at a place. He did not take a step ahead as he had a plan in mind that he wanted to implement. He would not leave until he achieved what he wanted to. 

And the thing that he was seeking to achieve was nothing but peace between the two of them. 

She turned back and found him standing a little far from him. She was going back to her room but when he called her, she stopped. She did not know why he was calling her. But she could tell that he was up to something. 

"Yes?" Esmeralda said, looking at him. 

"Can we talk?" Ethan asked, hesitatingly. He seemed nervous. He did not know how she would react. She was behaving normally but it was troubling him more. She was mad internally but she was showing that she was not. And it was messing with his system more. He made her mad and in the end he had to coax her. It was the irony of life. He had to learn a lot of lessons, it seemed.
