The driver woke her from sleep as they reached her new house. She opened her eyes, quite dazed. She was unable to see everything clearly at once but as she focused her gaze, she was able to see a skyscraper which was her new house.

Last night, she hadn't slept on time as she was busy doing some unspeakable activities while she lazed around the whole day but didn't rest properly. As her mind was somewhere and her body was sore from their naughty endeavours. The wine had worked and the motion of the car made her fall asleep without her knowledge.

Esmeralda punched the code as she entered the private elevator that would take her straight to the penthouse. It was midnight and she wondered if Ethan would be awake.

It was hard for him to be awake and he was an early sleeper unless he was working.

She entered the apartment and found it empty with no trace of a human soul. Seeing the empty couch in the living room, she felt a little disheartened.
