FIRST KISS

Chapter six recap:

If I had said no, she would have kept me, so I lied that the boss gave me another job of maintaining the office when I went to ask for the money, and I got an advance. She bought my excuse, but for how long was she going to believe me? A miracle was what I needed.

Excerpt;

"Come out, or your lamb won't make it easy for me; she's stubborn, and I might mistakenly slap her."

"Slap me?" I asked

Stridha chuckled from the other side. "Erica, get out of the car and enter the house."

"And if I don't?" I asked before Shelly looked at me and said, "Why are you this rude?"

CHAPTER EIGHT

It was early in the morning that mom entered my room the next day. The way she looked at me almost made me give my head away, saying, 'It's not true, I didn't get the job, and explain everything else to her. She glimmered at me for some time and said,

"Have you forgotten you have a job to go to?"

What? A job? Me?" I questioned myself. Now that became so confusing that I didn't know what she really meant by her words.

"Well mom"

"Your boss is out side waiting for you, or should I say picture you up?"

She asked, and believe me, I was perplexed beyond it. My boss, why would Stridha think of coming here at all that early? I began to panic deep down.

"Come; she's been standing there for some time now."

I excelled. 'It's just Shelly, not the boss. 'Oh no, now that I think about it, I didn't write anything to show to Stridha today, and what happens if I run into him? What will I tell him? Busy with my thoughts

Erica?" Mom yelled, "Go and see her." She emphasized.

I approached her without a prepared response, and upon leaving the house, I found her in a red short dress and silver high-heeled shoes, holding her phone while waiting for me. Surprisingly, she had driven herself without a driver. I wondered what urgent matter had prompted her actions.

"Erica, there's no time to waste. C'mon, let's go," she cut between my thoughts.

O- okay' Heading towards the car door, my mother waved at me with an encouraging smile, seemingly proud, perhaps because I hadn't disappointed her in the past or lied to her. My heart raced as I remembered that I had lied to her yesterday.

Sorry mom I said deep down that I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

"Ain't you asking where I'm taking you? Wow, you're so trusting, Erica." Shelly asked.

Seriously, I was quiet because what was I to say to her as if she were the boss? To me, all she was at that time was my driver taking me to my destination. Oh, wait! Where is she taking me? Now it clicked in my mind.

"Where are we headed?" I shouted. She nearly slammed on the brakes, giving me a bewildered look, as if I had lost my mind. Then, she continued driving without saying a word.

There was a house before us. She came to a halt directly in front of it—a portable house, surprisingly well-crafted. "Here we are. You can disembark now." She spat those words at me.

"You take this lightly, but I need you to know. We are in the middle of nowhere. Why not take me back?"

Puffing with her lips, she leaned back like she was gravely disappointed in my actions. She dialed her phone and put it on speaker, almost as if it were second nature to her, akin to leaving the door open.

"Where is she?" Was it the voice that jolted my thinking? Isn't that Stridha? I figured.

"Come out, or your lamb won't make it easy for me; she's stubborn, and I might mistakenly slap her." Shelly said

"Slap me?" I asked.

Stridha chuckled from the other side. "Erica, get out of the car and enter the house."

"And if I don't?" I asked before Shelly looked at me and said, "Why are you this rude?

"Excuse me, Rude? before I knew it could be my heard on the chopping block.

"Erica, would you rather we go someplace of your liking?" Stridha asked; he knew Shelly was not going to contain me.

In a state of confusion, I pondered, "Where would I allow him to take us, and why 'us'? I exhaled slowly, trying to form words, when I noticed him emerging from the house. It felt as though he had already arrived beside me in his gaze; he didn't need to utter a word or shift before I opened the door to exit. There was something about him that eluded my understanding.

Shelly drove away, while Stridha remained motionless."

I, too, was going to dare him. I stood my ground. Why is he going to boss me around? No, he won't; I won't allow him.' I convinced myself.

He started trailing his steps near me, and I started feeling the stiffness in me getting tense. Why do I feel this when he is near me? I couldn't figure it out, but the more I saw him, the more I wanted him around.

"Answer me now, at least," he said, standing a few strides away.

I didn't know what to say, but I asked, "What do you mean,us?"

He smiled, waving his glare in a whimper. "The way we are is us, Erica." I froze. He and I, what will we do or talk about?

Come, I want to show you something," he said, and then I followed him behind.

We entered the house. It was furnished in a very sexy way. It had water-blue walls and pictures of necked couples. One wall had a black-and-white picture of a man pulling a girl to his laps with his penis erect up. Is this what he wanted me to see?

A picture of... then I looked at another. Deep in it's contrast, a woman was lying in bed and a man behind him both necked, and he was grabbing her neck like he was pulling her to himself from behind.

I wore a disorienting face when he blocked my view of the picture and asked me if I liked them.

"Can't you take your eyes off them, Erica? Do you perhaps want me to give it to you that way?"

Mhm?" I widened my eyes. "Give?" I asked.

"Don't tell me you've never?"

Never what?" I asked before he finished.

"Why do you suppose I brought you here, Erica?" I shook my head, observing a peculiar shift in his breathing.

"Has no man kissed you, Erica?"

Feeling humiliated, I experienced shame. If I lie and say yes, he might challenge me to prove it. On the other hand, if I say no, he might think I'm not serious about not having been kissed at the age of 20.

Lost in my contemplation, his finger touched my neck, which gave my body chills. His hand went from the side of my head and down to my hands, gently yet firm, analyzing my eyes as he leaned in and asked me.

"Do you want to experience the ramming of my shaft?" Not knowing what he meant, he added, "Causing a risk is what I do best."

Do I need to know what that means?

I expected him to respond, I presume, but he had a mind of his own. As he withdrew, our eyes locked, and in that moment, my world dissolved. All I saw was him. My own thoughts deserted me, and my heart beat betrayed me when I felt the trail of his hand from my neck to my cheek, tracing down my jawline. My heart raced as his eyes finally met mine, and he pressed his lips against mine, intertwining our tongues passionately.

His hand cupped my face as he deepened his kiss with general agency. His lips moved against mine when he muttered between the kisses.

"Your lips taste like peaches, my type of fruit."

I felt the tingling sensation run through my body; nothing else mattered compared to the feeling I felt. Breaking the silence, he spoke again after pulling away.

"If you want me to stop, tell me now, and I will."

I wanted to pull him down to me because I needed more. Like he read my mind, he pushed in again with full force, blocking my nose and making it hard for me to breathe. He parted ways, allowing me to catch a breath. Heat radiated in that still moment. That moment, my first kiss, was a moment I could remember.

I don't know for how long we kissed that I felt my lips bruised the time he pulled away, but I couldn't ask him to stop; it felt too good.

He placed his thumb on my lips, perhaps testing if I'd pull away. I held my ground as he leaned in, and I felt a sweet warmth in my lower waist. However, instead of kissing me, he whispered softly.

Fear gripped me as I closed my eyes, afraid you might run away, knowing the intricacies of your peculiar thoughts.

I giggled in my heart before he broke the silence again. "Look at the pictures on the bedroom wall and tell me the one you want to experience; I'll be in the car out side."
