Xia Yangyang, in a state of shock, allowed Gu Zhaohan to guide her out of the laboratory building.

Xia Yangyang was angry, not so much at Gu Zhaohan's forced kiss, but at the fact that she didn't push him away straight away. Because for that brief moment, upon looking at his face, she thought he was Gu Qichen.

She must have been bewitched.

Gu Zhaohan stopped in his tracks, his expression remained cold and indifferent, but he said, "Sorry."

Xia Yangyang instantly figured out his intentions, "So you used me as a shield, why me?"
