32 32. Deal

"It said no. You can never do that to me. This traitor blood pumping organ still believes in you over my beliefs of years." 

Damien pressed his eyes more tightly as Arabella's words kept ringing on his ears.

"I pressed my palm over my heart and closed my eyes and asked myself if you could do this to me, even though I don't remember, my heart still said no."

He opened his eyes and looked at his hands with a frown. He was sweating even though the temperature of the room was low. He slowly put his shaky hand on the left side of his chest, over his heart.

"Think carefully and look for me when you find your answer to decide if we will meet ever or never."

Answers… he needed answers. 

And soon enough when he closed his eyes with his hand over his thudding heart, he got his answers. 

But was he ready to accept it? Was he ready to confess his answer in front of her? 

No! No way in hell he will do that.
