8 How come he looks so cultured?

Yan Nuan was oblivious to the older man's thoughts. She skipped towards the school gate enthusiastically. The plaque on the school gate read,

'QING YU HIGH SCHOOL'

Yan Nuan sighed. Her thoughts rotated on what kind of place it would be. Would it be like her grandfather's study? But she didn't think so. This place was huge and from what she had observed in the past one week that she arrived here, things were different from it was in her time. There were so many things she was unfamiliar with. Like that big plush bed in her room and the black thing that looked like a house which brought her to school. She seemed to have heard people call it a car.

She face palmed, knowing she was over thinking and immediately shoved those thoughts down the drain. She calmly straightened herself and walked through the gate with a calm smile like an elegant Empress Dowager despite the excitement bubbling in her heart.

She was actually in a school. She excitedly looked around as she walked towards her class. She could feel several gazes on her but she merely ignored them. Nothing could dampen her mood.

Several students passed by Yan Nuan and took a second look at him. Was this really Bro Yan? How come he looks so cultured? He even used his tie? And he looked even more handsome today; there was especially a shining light in his gaze.

However, that wasn't the end. The moment their gazes went o the lunchbox in his hand, the students of Qing Yu were even more stunned.

A lunchbox? Bro Yan actually brought a lunchbox?

They all felt there levels of thinking instantly refreshed. This was a great change in the history of Bro Yan. The most popular school hunk actually came to school with a lunchbox! Great news for the student reporters on the school forum. The news quickly spread and the entire school was thrown into chaos.

However, the main lead in all their thoughts and stories was oblivious. He was currently standing at the door of a classroom marked Class 1. His eyes were curved like stars out of excitement as he opened the door to the classroom and entered.

Yan Nuan was surprised to see a large group of students huddled together as they gossiped. She looked back at the door. Could it be…she entered the wrong class?

Silence hung in the classroom and no one moved the moment the teenager entered the class. However, their gazes all drifted in the direction of his left hand. They looked in awe at the black lunchbox. The teenager hung his backpack on his right shoulder while he held the lunchbox in his left hand. Even so, it didn't affect his image. It only complimented his suaveness more. All the girls who had a crush on Bro Yan initially, felt their heart beat even more erratically.

Yan Nuan glanced at them indifferently and walked to her seat. She was greatly dispirited! She had come to school excitedly upon knowing that she was in Class 1, the most respected class in the school since they were all elites and brilliant students. Yan Nuan wanted to learn.

She places the lunch box in her locker and watched as her classmates all returned to their seats. Yan Nuan eyed the several packets and presents on her table and instantly remembers that Yehan had a large group of girl fans. She picked a present and the read the content on the paper tag on it.

"I wish you quick recovery, Young Master Yan. I personally baked thus box of cookies myself."

Yan Nuan clicked her tongue. She lightly patted the shoulder of the person sitting in front of her. The other student turned to her in surprise. "Young Master Yan."

Yan Nuan smiled. "Do you know the owner of the presents?"

He looked at the name and nodded. "Should I throw them away?"

" No, I want to thank them," Yan Nuan replied.

The other student was surprised. He looked at Yan Nuan's face .Bro Yan was not angry? After all, he had always hated it when people try to please him with ulterior motives.

But, he immediately recovered and said to Yan Nuan.

"You can make a post on the school forum."

"Oh," Yan Nuan mused. " But I do not have a phone."

The student was perplexed. "Bro Yan, you do not have a phone?"

" Actually, I do have," Yan Nuan replied and brought out the packet given to her by father Yan. She tore the seal and brought out the content. She looked at the black item in her hand and pursed her lips. So, this was what a phone look like. She knew from Yan Yehan's memories that this item was a good communicating device.

She turned it on and through the help of her seatmate, she was able to setup the important information and she went through a few of them. She was awed. She liked this world. If she wanted to talk to someone urgently, she could call them with the phone. She didn't need to wait for days for her letter to get delivered.

First, it was the big and soft bed in her room which Nanny Liu called king sized bed. The weird but delicious meal she had been eating. And now, the phone. This world made things so easy!

Remembering the post, Yan Nuan typed out her post on the forum. Although clumsily, she was able to recognize every character and finally formed the post after a long time. She clicked on the 'update' and stretched her arms. She made a mental note to go through the phone ones again so she could master the content once again.

Barely a minute when she uploaded, she heard someone yell out at the back of the class.

"Guys, Bro Yan posted on the forum!"
