Chapter 10: The final test

"Should be here." Ivo arrived in front of a large white hall. It was a large and majestic hall that could easily accommodate over 10,000 people.

Without hesitation, he immediately entered the hall. Inside, only one person was sitting casually eating potato chips.

Several books floated in the air and flipped by themselves according to the person's will. While reading his book, he asked Ivo who had just entered the hall.

"What is it? Are you guys lost?"

Ivo caught his breath before answering. "No sir, I just want to continue the final test."

The person asked curiously. He looked at the watch in his pocket. "Continue with the test? The written test is still not finished. Come back later with the others."

Before Ivo could answer, he continued his questioning. "What made you believe that you could start the test earlier anyway?"

Ivo answered cautiously. He couldn't cause trouble with the person in front of him with his current strength. If he said something wrong his life could be lost at this moment. "Sorry if my words were harsh, Mr. Argon. But the test regulations from the documents provided don't show the start time of the last test."

"The document simply says that 'The final test can only be taken by examinees when they finish the second test.' It states that examinees can start the final test right after I finish my second test." Ivo said politely and bowed slightly.

"Hmm…" No answer came out. Even though his gaze was directed toward the book floating in front of him. He could still see Ivo standing in front of him.

What he just said wasn't wrong. The rules for the entrance test for the white snow academy do not provide a definite time regarding when the final test will start.

Ivo waited quietly. He's been through this many times in the game. Everything regarding the academy test was still in his head.

White Snow Academy has three entrance tests. The first test was at the academy's student registration. There the overseer would disguise himself as one of the academy's students and cast mental type magic. Entrants who enter will immediately be tested for their magical sense abilities. Those who do not meet the standards will be immediately eliminated.

The first test is very simple. The card given by the overseer is fake. The original card will only be given if the registrant meets the requirements. If someone comes with a fake card, when the second test takes place they will be immediately disqualified.

'There are two ways to pass the first test, be a genius or already know how this first test works.'

'The first and third tests are fine, but the second test is complete nonsense.'

The second test as you know is a written test, there is no need to say much about this test. The person who made this test is a crazy bastard.

The written test only covers 5% of applying theory in practice while the rest is material that students may not even have heard of. If not for the fact that he was currently an extremely experienced player from 'destiny' it would be impossible to clear those matters.

'Even the players are impossible to answer outside of that 5% category. Who wants to learn something that won't even be used in the real world? Only idiots would do that.'

Wait, why does the thought of this stab my heart so much?

"It's true, the academy doesn't give clear rules regarding time. But have you forgotten what the first clause of the academy entrance test rules is." the answer from Argon woke Ivo from his thoughts.

"The test will be carried out and started with the approval of the overseer in charge," Ivo answered with a straight face.

Pluk... He closed his book. The two stared at each other.

"Correct. So there's no reason I should start the test early." He said while stuffing potato chips into his mouth.

"So tell me why… hey where are you going?"

Before he finished his words, Ivo walked out of the hall leaving Argon alone.

"I want to go outside. If you don't agree to do the test earlier, there's no point in trying to convince you. I know my position very well." Ivo turned and bowed slightly before walking out again.

"..?!"

When he was at the end of the hall, his body returned to its original place. In front of him, a 3D spherical magic circle formed above the argon palm and then disappeared in thin air.

"We haven't finished talking. So why the rush to leave."

Argon saw Ivo and became very interested. "Denver is not kidding about academy candidates having 'it'."

"What do you mean sir? I am just an ordinary person." Ivo answered with a smile.

Argon formed another magic circle in his hand. In an instant, the entire room became extremely quiet without the slightest sound.

[Silent space.]

"Don't pretend to be a fool. You can't fool everyone in this world. Especially the 'powerhouses' who have lived for a very long time." Argon said while taking out one registration form.

He started reading it. "candidate Ivo graham. Age 17 years, No mention of origin, no mention of organization of origin, leave everything blank except name and age."

"Are you really intending to enroll in this academy?"

Argon saw Ivo avert his eyes. He could only sigh. There is nothing wrong with this form because this is just a formality. But looking at it again this is downright ridiculous.

"Candidate Ivo Graham, according to the assessment of several exam supervisors, Ramon considered him to have very good talent and needed further assessment to see his potential. Denver deems it necessary to assess although it has enormous potential it is necessary to investigate its origins."

The paper in his hand disappeared after he finished reading it. He sighed "We are in a dilemma right now you know. They would call us crazy if they didn't accept someone like you, but your identity is really unclear."

Ivo said nothing. This was a problem for the white snow academy itself and not the problem. No need to meddle in unnecessary matters.

Hearing no response, he clicked his tongue. "Well, the academy won't stay silent."

"So let's get back on topic, you want to continue the test earlier right?" Argon asked. His hand took a potato chip and put it in his mouth.

"Of course" Ivo nodded.

"Okay, I will agree. After all, with someone like you, you're sure to pass even if you start later than the others." Argon got up from his chair and took out a blue staff with 7 crystals floating around the crystal in the middle.

The state of the hall returned to how it was before. Argon stood up while pointing his staff forward and casting his magic.

[Dimension pocket]

All sorts of weapons appeared out of thin air. Swords, spears, arrows, maces, morning stars, there's even a mage's staff. All of that is neatly displayed in a glass window.

"Take any weapons you want. After that I will explain the mechanics of the final test." argon said casually. He was curious as to what weapon the person in front of him would choose.

Ivo didn't take long, he immediately picked up a sword. Swinging it several times in the air slashing vertically and horizontally, he gauged the weight and quality of the blade. "This is enough"

"I'm ready."

"Okay. Before you start take this." Argon gave a small pin.

"I'll explain the technical test briefly. This is a point hunting test. There are no rules in this test except that you have to use the weapon that has been given. All kinds of methods are allowed. We don't care even if you use the most cunning means, just don't kill humans."

Ivo listened carefully and checked it from the memories he had. The third test is a point hunt, all monsters killed will be recorded via the special pin given. Of course, hunting didn't mean just hunting monsters, but also humans. In fact, it is more profitable to hunt humans

"The duration of time until sunset." While explaining Argon raised his staff and stomped down. In front of Ivo, a portal of light appears.

"Good luck."

Without hesitation, Ivo stepped into the portal and disappeared from the hall.

There only Argon himself sat back and ate his potato chips. The closed books opened again and he continued reading.

"You can come out now. Kevin Heider"

Within the hall right next to where Ivo was standing a human appeared. It was the person who had followed Ivo as he ran outside.

"I was caught huh…A space expert really can't be underestimated." a man appeared in thin air. He had a normal physique except that he was different from most people, his eyes flashed a gray color. A gray mist appeared to cover part of his body.

"If you want to take part in starting the final test early, grab your weapon and go through the portal." Argon threw a small pin which was immediately taken by Kevin.

Kevin didn't respond to his words and only took a small dagger. He went inside without saying a word. From the start, his gaze only stared at Ivo alone.

"Really, the younger generation these days." Argon shook his head. He feels like an old man now even though his body looks like just about 25 years old.

A small smile formed on his face. "This year will be very interesting."
