"Did you hear anything?" asked a burly man looking out on the cliff. As awakend their senses are far more keen than normal people

Another man with a weird firearm nervously replied "I heard it too"

"It was pretty far away why don t you go and check"

"Why dont you? Don't think I don't know that the leader reprimanded you for going out of your post to cook that snake the other da-.." The words of the man were soon cut off by a sudden yelp

"what happened?"

The terrorist said as he fell to the ground "Theres something...."

The burly man was horrified to see his companion drying up like a mummy.

"What is this!?" The burly man said as he backed away.

It was not long after that he found out what attacked his companion as he saw a vine.

The burly man didn't know exactly what it was but he knew it was dangerous

Just as he was about to finish dial in his walkie talkie to call for backup, a vine crawled along the wall and quietly came behind him.

The vines stretched slowly getting closer until with a great burst of speed it wrapped around the mans neck. The man whose neck was wrapped, quickly tried to operate the weapon in his hands while trying to tear the vines off.

But no matter how hard he struggled, he could not rip them off.

Then as if he had been drugged he suddenly went limp and slept peacefully on the ground, with gentle breathing, proving that he was still alive.

The anomalous object, which had just escaped from the bomb site, started eating again.

A silent hunt spread slowly in the valley. Since it took too much energy to escape and regenerate, The anomalies hunting process was very slow this time, and it was very careful.

It had quietly devoured more than a dozen people by the time the Rings found something was wrong.

"Boss, it has already been 10 minutes pass the time the others were supposed to report we checked through the cameras and only found there weapons"

A man reported to his apparent superior.

The leader asked gloomily, "Have you found out what happened?"

"No, but i think its the special forces from roma, they may have acted so carufully to try and rescue William"

The leader's eyes lit up when he heard it, and he felt that what his subordinates said was quite reasonable.

"Gather the soldiers and guard the entrance to his cell, hes still a very important bargaining chip."

After the leader finished speaking, he led a group of people to surround the entrance of the place where Pierce was.

Whiel he was still in the control room before boarding the carrier ship, K immediately contacted his superiors after hearing about William Pierce.

And he bypassed the others and directly contacted the council of the high table.

After reporting the information here to his chief, K secretly sent the surveillance video he saw in the base.

"This is footage that i took regarding the anomalous object as they describe it."

Under the guise of exploring, K was able to send information to the council.

Pierce who was making an energy capacitor, looked worriedly at the figure walking back and forth outside the door and asked the person who got captured with him"Ethan, what's wrong? Why is there so much noise outside."

Ethan replied excitedly: "It seems that someone has invaded the camp, maybe they're here to save us!"

"They came to save me? Impossible! If they really came to save me, the movement outside could not be so small."

Pierce said arrogantly.

If people from the military really came to save him, the men outside would not be able to last for so long.

Pierce put down the hammer in his hand and said, "Stop first, there are too many people outside, if they find out what were doing we wont have this chance again"

Just when the two decided to stop their movements, there was a sudden burst of screams outside.

"Ah! What the hell is this!"

"Monster! It's a monster!"

"Help!"

"Quick! Quickly wake up..."

Hearing the cluttered screams outside, Pierce and Ethan looked at each other, then tacitly picked up the hammer next to them and fastened the door of the room.

This is Fury! An extremely paranoid founding memebr of the high table. It can even be said that he's the reason the high table was able to survive till now

Fury, lying in his chair, remembered Ks advice.

'If things can't be reversed and the carnivorous ivy can't be contained, then launch a nuclear bomb in the Middle East. Once that thing appears in a densely populated place, it will be the beginning of the end of the world.'

"The Black order? can the carnivorous ivy really grow to such an extent? Do they really have the ability to contain so many monsters that can destroy the entire world?"

Fury's remaining one eye gleamed.

If things really get to an irreversible level, he doesn't mind throwing nuclear weapons directly, even if he has to sacrifice some of his soldiers!
